Lucius seems to be reusing the Bruce Wayne head () as some have pointed out, but Lockhart appears to have a new one. At least I hope it is Oh, and I have to correct myself, technically the set includes 16 minifigs if you count the mannequins. Personally, I do because they have new torso prints that can easily be repurposed for actual Quidditch players

I got what I wished for in terms of minifigs (Lockhart + Lucius), so I appreciate the selection here 14 is pretty reasonable I think. I’m also really happy with the build itself. The 2011 set has been one of my favourites before the reboot started, but this one really gives it a run for its money It‘s almost funny when you compare them

Not exactly the most convincing selling points The fact no recognisable characters have any relation to any of the stores is a bit of a problem, plus we never see the interiors. The Daily Prophet office at least has the potential of including Rita Skeeter (even though she‘s never seen there on-screen, but still, it would make sense). If she‘s in the set, that‘s reason enough to justify its inclusion. The real mystery is Scribbulus, why that one instead of EOE? Or maybe it‘s an October release after all in which case it would make sense to separate the reveals *ducks and covers* ...man I hope I‘m wrong

Touché And don‘t get me wrong, I‘m not opposed to other DA shops being released as standalone sets, it‘s just that they‘re at the very bottom of the list of potential sets IMO. Look me straight in the eyes and tell me you honestly want that apothecary over the Shriecking Shack, Hogsmeade or the chamber of secrets. Once the more desirable sets are all done, then I‘d be open to the obscure shops

I’ll elaborate on my thoughts a bit: I think most of the remaining shops are too obscure to work as standalone sets, even in tandems. Compare it with other D2C playsets, e.g. Cloud City: The Carbonite chamber and the area where Luke & Vader duel work as standalone sets. Would the other parts of the set too (Ugnaught work place, diner table, hallways, landing pad)? Certainly not, but they do work as parts of a bigger set. Same goes for Scribbulus and the Daily Prophet office. Besides, there‘s another big issue: which minifigs would they include? The remaining shops have no on-screen characters associated with them, so a bunch of Harrys, Rons snd Hermiones?

Let‘s see what we‘re missing: Additional parts of Hogwarts, any of the obstacles in the finale of PS, the chamber of secrets, the Shrieking Shack, Hogsmeade, the second task, Durmstrang ship, Ministry of Magic, Grimmauld place, Inferi cave, Malfoy Manor, Gringotts, etc. I think that‘s more than enough before they have to resort to a random apothecary to fill in some vacant spots Besides, Gringotts is not only iconic, there are multiple scenes that take place in there. The same cannot be said for any one of the missing shops. The crystallised tears of everyone in this thread

Gringotts is the only one worthy of a standalone set though I don‘t think we‘re ever going to see any of the other ones

I call shenanigans Including Molly yet omitting Arthur and Ginny would make little sense to me. Speaking of which: Does anyone else think a new hat/hair combo mould for Arthur is a good candidate for a new mould in this set? It‘s been a while since I‘ve last seen the films, but I think the F&B scene in CoS is the only one where he wears that hat. Seems like our only chance to get that version of him
