Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
So that’s where that ridiculous Endgame would-be “leak” came from that suggested Tony would be revealed as Kang -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Since Kang is a time traveler, there are a lot of options how they could handle the character. Maybe it’s an origin story of sorts and he’s not even a villain in this movie The MCU likes to switch things around like that -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

There are rumours that Ant-Man 3 kickstarts the Young Avengers... If so, this would fit quite well. B2T: I wonder why the Eternals sets are missing from the 2021 list... Maybe it just includes new numbers, and the ones from the Eternals sets have been known for a while after all I’m also curious if there’s a chain reaction of sorts for the other sets, which I assume there will be, given the new release schedule for the upcoming films -

We never know beforehand. Sometimes, it’s around midnight, and at other times, it’s 10 o’clock in the morning. I don’t think there’s a pattern to it, so we won’t know before midnight -

In what way did they do The Hobbit dirty though? The only important character they left out was Bolg, apart from him we basically got everything we needed And the LOTR sets were amazing, all that was needed was one more wave to fill some of the more egregious gaps... I’m usually a glass-half-full sort of person, so I’m more happy with what we got than angry with what we didn’t B2T: So we’re definitely back to square one in regards to the TIE Fighter. My guess then would be a TIE Pilot, Stormie and a random third Imperial (technician, gunner, Death Star trooper, or officer). -
Super Mario 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to MandyNeko's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that depends heavily on what 71380 actually is If it's a Luigi starter pack, then I would assume that at least one of the power-ups will be for him -

Hm, my level of interest in this set has just risen significantly Shame the X-Wing doesn‘t have the same potential since we already know its minifig roster -

Hm, then I assume that the person who created the fake leak based it on that description -

This sounds like a description of the fake leak I‘ve talked about on the previous page -

If you happen to see a pixelated TIE Fighter “leak“ on IG, it‘s fake It‘s just the 4+ version with other side-builds and minifigs -

Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Agreed. Maybe not every single one them, but the majority has to be based on Dominion since the tie-in sets have to be released in 1HY (my guess would be late April or early May), based on the film’s current release date. Of course the film may get delayed, but then so will the sets -

At least we’re getting one this time around Based on what exactly? We don’t have anything but prices for most of them -

Thanks to @Falconfan1414, here's our set list for the 1HY of 2021: 71380, $59.99 71381, $19.99 71382, $29.99 71383, $39.99 71384, $9.99 71385, $9.99 71386, $4.99 I hope 71386 is a second series of figures And 71380 would be at the ideal price point for a Luigi starter pack -
We really should’ve gotten suspicious that only the heads were visible in the later “leaks”. Hindsight bias yadda yadda, I know I still hope for as many characters as possible, but that is definitely a setback

*squints at 2001 Peeves* I’m good, actually I don’t quite see the point of designing minifigs of book-exclusive characters, unless there’s some scrapped concept art WB have lying around somewhere -

Maybe it's not Cho but one of the Patil twins instead Their minifigs share the same skin tone after all, for whatever reason -

Exactly. It’s not upsetting to me that we get another bunch of X-Wing and TIE Fighter remakes, what does bother me however is that they make up half of this wave’s regular sets I wouldn’t mind them at all if there was something in this wave to balance it out, but there isn’t. ...well, there’s the Mando set, but I don’t put too much faith in it until we get some more details -

Sounds like the PS/CoS Flitwick minifig will be the most interesting part I’m a bit confused about the Art set though, there’s going to be so many leftover studs if you can build only one of the crests at a time In the case of the Warhol set, there was only one colour you had too many leftovers at the end, not three In the promobricks article -

Agreed. I’ve been there since the very beginning and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed in a wave No battle packs, mostly redesigned microfighters and only one set based on new content. Not even the minifigs can save this wave because they will most likely either be repeats or slightly modified versions. Next summer has to be better than this! ...can’t wait for the inevitable Snowspeeder, Luke’s Landspeeder and A-Wing -

Nope, these lists usually only cover 1HY releases (so everything between January and May). Don’t expect a set list before the Toy Fair season, if there even will be one next year in the first place -

The Falcon microfighter includes Han and the Tauntaun one is “piloted” by Luke: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-star-wars-2021-neuheiten/108893/ Even the minifig selection is as boring and as predictable as possible
