Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Dang, we‘ve almost reached 700 pages! Has to be some sort of record And us sweet summer children thought it would get quiet after the DA reveal -

And even if the planned wave had non-JWD sets among them, that in no way guarantees a separate release. Maybe it‘s just more convenient for them to delay the entire wave rather then starting production for only one or two sets Sure, they split the Minions wave in two, but in that case, the sets were already produced and even shipped to some places, which is how I got mine. Feels WEIRD to own sets a full year before their official launch -
Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

I think the only way something could leak before spring 2022 is via TLG themselves, like the picture of the second HP CMF series they accidentally made publicly accessible 5 months too early And that‘s VERY unlikely to say the least -

I didn‘t have time to look at the pictures all that closely Yeah, someone effed up majorly. If it’s an employee, he‘s lucky he works in Switzerland rather than the US for instance. Can‘t be fired as easily here -

I‘ve just noticed that the name of the store that leaked the catalogue is printed across every single page, so that‘s how they try to prevent them from leaking Tracing it back has never been easier! It’s a Swiss store btw, not a German one as previously thought. They will certainly get into trouble for this. A source burnt forever -
Lego Minecraft 2020 Rumors & Discussion

Hm, makes sense. They could still size it down though or just give us a smaller section of one Agreed Two things though: Why do they split the wave into three sub-waves (December, February, March)? Same thing with the Star Wars sets... And where are the three Big Figs scheduled for December? -

It‘s just generic business/marketing talk, as is always the case in these retailer catalogues -

They might still have something worthwhile for us in store in the second half of the year ...unless they put all their 2HY eggs in the „The Batman“ basket of course -

With all the recent film delays, I‘d say there‘s no chance in hell FB3 will make its 2021 release date. So that means it will probably be pushed back to november 2022, right when FB4 was originally supposed to hit cinemas Of course we don‘t know what TLG had planned for FB3 (if anything), but I wouldn‘t be surprised if the set list @Guyon2002 reported might get trimmed by an entry or two -
Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Bummer. So the only way we could be getting something this year is if it‘s similar to the FK wave in that there‘s a set among them that‘s based on a previous movie -
Lego Minecraft 2020 Rumors & Discussion

Those are definitely bees, not so sure about the moobloom though. It would definitely be interesting if they tapped into Minecraft Earth too after this year's Dungeons set Speaking of which: it's quite funny to me how they're now very close to the latest game updates with the sets, yet there's still no sign of a lot of elements from the 4 year-old Combat Update (Elytra, Shulkers, End Cities). Will they ever add those? -

I think only these two are rumoured to be included Quite sad when you think that even the 4+ one had three minifigs. In general, the minifigs will undoubtedly be the least interesting aspect of these sets. Depending on the minifigs included in the Mando set, we could end up with the first wave in ages that doesn't introduce a single new character. When was the last time that happened? -

I don‘t blame you, the SW thread is one of the few exceptions to that rule I was also surprised when the 2021 thread was created -

Pictures of the retail catalogue have leaked in the usual place The X-Wing looks decent, but the dark gray ball joint piece on the TIE really doesn‘t look good -

I don‘t think they‘re really able to fast-track sets like that Sure, they managed to produce a replacement wave back in 2015 when BvS was delayed, but they had way more time than they would have now. Next year is going to be very light on DC I‘m afraid. -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

It‘s just a rumour at the moment, so take this with a grain of salt, but Dune will allegedly take The Batman‘s current release slot, so you know what this would mean It’s probably for the best not to look forward to any film-based sets (and films for that matter) right now -

There‘s one part of the process that doesn‘t work the same way it did before, namely the testing sessions with kids. There are ways around it (deliver the prototypes to kids‘ homes, rely on foolproof set ideas that don‘t require testing, etc.), but it‘s not quite the same -

Also, this would‘ve been a good opportunity to round out the Spiderverse cast by including Peni Parker and SP//dr in one of the sets, but NOPE. More Venom and Carnage it is
