Two of the December sets have leaked, namely 21166 The Abandoned Mine and 21167 The Trading Post The llamas and the trader are definitely the highlights I‘m quite excited to see 21165 in detail too Edit: 21165 has leaked too! The bees are adorable and the new wing pieces are an interesting addition -

There‘s plenty of interior they could easily incorporate into a potential set, I was wondering more about the exterior @Seaber: Thanks for the description! I really need to watch the films again and pay more attention to these sorts of details (once I get the Blu-ray collection back from whomever’s borrowed them from me) -

I get the appeal of potential interior scenes, what I have problems with is the exterior. I wouldn‘t want them to „waste“ a $130 spot on GP when there are so many things we could get instead, like the chamber of secrets, the shrieking shack, Hogwarts expansions or Gringotts IMO, GP is best served as the backdrop for the next advent calendar That‘s another one I don‘t really get. Does the LC even have an exterior to speak of? Apart from the entrance I mean -

Ninjago City was a D2C set though And Technic is its own separate beast I still fail to see the appeal. How do you turn THIS into a desirable set? It‘s purposefully made to look as drab and ordinary as possible. The interior is pretty interesting, I’ll give it that (and the appeal of a OotP Sirius is hard to deny), but that alone is not a viable option for a $130 set, at least IMO -

The price point suggests otherwise though... Or when was the last time you’ve seen a non-D2C set above $200? Agreed. It‘s funny to me that some people question the Super Mario add-on system (starting point: $60) while others would wholeheartedly support a Hogwarts add-on (starting point: $500) Would be even funnier if those were the same people -

To me, this depends heavily on the specific Subreddits Some are infested with hateful morons *cough* STC *cough*, others are quite pleasant. This doesn‘t necessarily reflect on the platform as a whole Back to JW: Are you referring to their opinions on FK? I‘ve seen A LOT of hatred for FK, but that was all over the Internet, not just Reddit. I never got why so many people took this film THAT seriously It‘s just a fun adventure flick, no harm in that -

Thanks to the DA set, this would be an absolute no-brainer This wouldn‘t require even a single new print BTW, people on IG claim there are 20th anniversary sets among the summer wave, but as far as I can tell there‘s no source attached to these rumours. It‘s definitely not implausible, but still... -

Me too The prototype in the catalogue looked pretty unremarkable, but if the minifig’s on par with the new McGonagall, we‘re in for a treat! And so the 2021 minifig leak season finally begins, bring the rest on -

To each their own, I guess I just like riddles and hints, which is a lot more fun to me than getting a straightforward info dump. You-know-who‘s „intel“ was bogus, but at least the guessing game surrounding it was fun. Same goes for the leaked sticker sheets, which were a enjoyable distraction to me as well But of course I can see why many people would prefer the latter and just cut to the chase -

The only thing that annoys me about the list is that we have no idea when we will learn about the actual sets Since the toy fairs have all been cancelled or postponed, there‘s the possibility we can only start to make educated guesses once the minifigs start leaking late February/ early March. Our only other options are the 2HY retailer catalogue or an event TLG host themselves to replace their toy fair booths. The former is pretty unlikely given the code names they‘ve used these last three years. Sure, the 1HY catalogue leaked, but something tells me that particular source won‘t ever receive another catalogue again in their lives The latter is pretty unlikely too IMO. I‘m not sure how many people in the toy industry would really care about an online showcase. Of course we would, but we were never the target audience for these events anyway But hey, there is a bright side to this. Guessing which sets it could be based on leaked minifigs alone could be a lot of fun actually -

*shotgun click* I agree. $120 would be more than enough for a decent facade, interior, + Ukrainian Ironbelly -

Whoops Numbers 3, 4 , and 5 then This also implies there‘s a reason they never considered it in the first place, and personally I think it‘s a fiery one, if you catch my drift -

Even though there’s nothing exclusive about Draco, it’s still an interesting minifig: Year1+2 hair, year3+4 legs, and year6 face And it’s only the second set without Harry -

@Guyon2002: That makes a lot of sense. Thank you and your source for providing this information, much appreciated! @Bugbot20082: I like your ideas, but shouldn‘t the AC already be part of the set list, most likely 76394? You‘re also bringing up a good point with the Niffler. There‘s no way Hedwig will remain the only creature build in this theme (cf. Star Wars where this has become a yearly or even semi-yearly thing) and a Niffler would be the perfect choice -

It‘s not the only HP set that has been saved from the executioner (Macnair?). I think the only ones still reaching their EOL this year are Rise of Voldy, the Beauxbaton carriage, Quidditch, and the Hungarian Horntail @Guyon2002: Is there a specific reason your source allowed you to share the information this time? Are they getting adventurous? *insert „I‘m in danger“ Ralph meme here* -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don‘t think there‘s an iconic enough section of the castle missing that would justify a $250 set Unless it includes the Great Hall, but that one just got off the EOL chopping block again, and I‘d rather get new stuff before they go down the remake route -

Very impressive list, I have to say If this was the final wave, they‘d go out with a bang (unlike the semi-whimper in 2011), but there‘s no reason to assume that of course. I was quite surprised at first at the amount of sets, but then I realised that next year marks the 20 year anniversary of PS plus the 10th anniversary of DHII. So I wouldn‘t be surprised if the sets were mainly based on these two films (plus DHI ofc). -

I certainly hope the Mando set will be more interesting than that. It‘s the only set in the entire wave with new minifig potential so they hopefully don‘t cheap out like that
