I do hope so, but we thought the same thing about Gringotts last year. We can never be too sure since TLG work in mysterious ways And if they don’t release DH sets next year, we at least get to see a man devouring his own hand. That sure is gonna be a sight to behold -

BrickBob Studpants replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think the opposite is the case, having them in the smallest set makes them far more likely to appear in the polybag too, compared to every other animal in this subtheme- 5,863 replies

Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Given that the amount of sets this year has doubled, it’s fair to assume the budget has been increased considerably -

You sure? The amount of minifigs in these sets is still impressive, even without the golden minifigs. And in the case of the bathroom and Fluffy sets, an additional regular minifig wouldn’t have made much sense anyway -

False alarm guys, the pic of the golden hairpieces was posted by a misprint/prototype collector. Should’ve looked into the account, my bad Moreover, they posted a picture of the golden Draco hairpiece in the beginning of January, so there’s no way it’s from the August wave -

@Juve: We’ve been over this before, why would they betray their source’s trust like that? That trust is worth far more than 15 minutes of Internet fame -

At least Falconfan and Guyon have prepared us well. Any list that comes our way that sounds too good to be true has to be fake Any would-be leaker’s greatest weakness! -

@Guyon2002 Thanks for the explanation Well, looks like we have to prepare our salt shakers then A bit too early for my liking, but I have no idea what else they could be from -

Have you seen the new golden hairpieces (Draco's and Snape's) on IG? They look legit to me, but which sets are they from? Or did the golden minifig craze spill over on BAM too? -

Not directly, but it's pretty obvious there's no Gringotts set coming, judging by the way they talk about these sets -

You’re very brave, @KA1. Prepare to be ripped apart if your info turns out to be true due to its implied terribleness, or to be torn to shreds if your intel is wrong Either way, there’s going to be confetti that day -

That’s at least what I hope, but you never know What is it with HP recently and attracting real-life Death Eaters and Dementors? Anyway, looking forward to the alleged new list. Thanks to our trusted informants, we’ll know right away how truthful it is -

Yes, they were released half a year apart Btw, in light of what recently got revealed about that game BTS, I hope they won’t release a single set based on it -

Remakes existing isn’t much of a issue, even for most diehard collectors. What does bother me is the ongoing shortening of the intervals. 3 years is already pushing it and we’re getting dangerously close to two-year intervals (looking at you, “new” Slave I) At least the new GH offers enough new stuff to be worthwhile even when you own the 2018 one, which cannot be said for every remake out there. Let’s hope any potential remakes in the August wave are like the new GH in that regard, if our nightmares do end up becoming reality -
Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he simply imply that the set won't be MCU-related? That doesn't necessarily imply it's comic-based since those aren't the only two options after all $300 Enix set ahoy... -

And they've lost mine I'm glad this confirms that Korg is in an MCU set this summer, but the prospect of having to buy a $300 comic-based or made-up set doesn't excite me at all -

Maybe. I still think it’s weird to split the waves up like that if they turn out to be connected Not to derail the thread (again), but it’s her transphobic views that caused the controversy -

Maybe, but the patterns seem pretty arbitrary. Star Wars, Minecraft, Marvel and Ninjago all have two waves in 1HY, but in 2HY only HP and City seem to be concerned I’m not sure if that alone explains it -

That’s the thing that still confuses me the most If that wave is also anniversary-themed, what’s the point of releasing two separate waves? We’re getting 8 regular sets in total (i.e. without the AC and the D2C set), which could easily have been released as one big wave, as is the case for a lot of themes. And releasing “regular” PS/CoS sets would be equally nonsensical because there’s no reason to give one wave the anniversary treatment and not the other, when both are based on the same movies Something tells me these sets are more experimental, like the Moments sets, but with a wider price range -

Indeed, why not? Not sure where to include the badges though. The licensed CMF series curse still hasn’t been broken, but I guess we’ll see next year either way, i.e. when Disney, HP, or both will get their third one. If neither will, then the curse is real after all The other option would be a second task set where they could throw in a student as a spectator
