  1. It’s currently being discussed in the “Future CMF series rumors” thread over at the special themes section
  2. The only thing that’s missing for me is a grey minifig, but that’s no biggie At least the other three colours of the ace flag are present
  3. Awesome set The blue minifig’s hairpiece is a new mould, right? I wonder if it was specifically designed for this set or whether it was originally intended for another set that got pushed back or something. Can’t think of a licensed character with that hairstyle though
  4. Again, it’s a singular set, not a series Edit: Ninja’d
  5. There’s no “if” about it, we’re definitely getting sets based on JWD next year The fact they’ve been delayed is proof enough
  6. To sum it up, tandnbricks on IG has stated there’s a new product on the horizon that minifig collectors would love. Initially, people thought it was Marvel-related, until it turned out it’s not licensed. Some people then assumed it would be a CMF series, hence the discussion shifting from the Marvel thread to this one A day later, tandbricks then said we should pay attention to Matthew Ashton, the VP of design at TLG. The latter’s been busy teasing a new set he designed by revealing one brick included in it every day. The first couple if days he’s posted pictures of 2x3 bricks in various colours, until yesterday when he posted a picture of a 1x10 tan brick. That’s basically all we know thus far
  7. Brickset have published their review of the Infinity Gauntlet I hope this means that reviews of the other sets aren't far behind
  8. Also, I don't think they've ever explicitly stated that the "winners" of the minifig vote would automatically make it into the set. The way I interpreted it, they wanted to gauge the popularity of certain characters to see what would make the most sense If the vote was supposed to be binding, they wouldn't have left it open-ended; this is the Internet after all. Plus, I don't really get the obsession with Cody. Unlike other characters (*cough* Saw Gerrera *cough*), we at least have a minfig version of him, and one that represents most of his screentime. Don't get me wrong, his scenes in ROTS are set-worthy, but not start-a-hate-campaign-worthy
  9. Not really. TLBM had two CMF series but only one D2C set, last year's DC series didn't have a coinciding D2C set and neither will the upcoming Disney + Marvel series
  10. Matthew Ashton has revealed the next part, and it's a... ...1x10 brick in tan Huh.
  11. I’m still amazed at how tall the Bugle looks, especially for that price Even if it’s mostly hollow, at least it seems like a much more substantial build than other sets at similar price points. And the minifig selection is just mind-blowing. 15 new minifigs in a single set has to set a record Firestar is quite a surprise too. I was wondering at first why they’d include an X-men character here, until I found out she was introduced in the 80’s Spider-man TV show. I didn’t know there were mutant characters that had their debut outside of the X-men subfranchise
  12. That’s also what’s confusing me. The front of the box looks incredibly fake, while Tracer and Mei could be real A team effort by two fakers at different skill levels perhaps?
  13. Bummer that the CoS gets postponed, that was the set I was looking forward to the most out of all the June releases, regardless of theme Regarding the tiles: Getting multiple copies in the same set is annoying, but at least it truly replicates the experience of card-collecting At least 16 tiles shouldn’t be that hard to collect, especially since there don’t appear to be any that are more rare than others (unless that’s what the silver printing is for, but I doubt it). Plus, bricklink is a thing. And as @Roebuck points out, anyone boneheaded enough to buy multiple copies of a set just for the tiles is beyond help anyway
  14. Great review! I think the colour of Lockhart’s outfit is nougat (the colour used for Cho’s head for instance)
  15. Minifiguremaddness have the same problem, they’ve received loose bags instead of display cases Maybe some production issues with the larger cases? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 72 case anywhere on the Internet
  16. Another noteworthy thing is that the pixies are satin trans-blue, an entirely new colour
  17. Extremely toxic I would say, easily just as bad as some of the more infamous English-speaking fandoms like Star Wars or DC I’ve left a loooong time ago and have never looked back (and don’t regret it since it’s gotten a lot worse apparently).
  18. A new minifig has leaked, looks like the guy working in last year’s panda-themed store got demoted from cashier to mascot
  19. Guys, it’s not a CMF series
  20. The rumour just states that minifig collectors would love this, so assuming it’s a CMF series is jumping the gun a bit, especially when you consider this: tandnbricks recently suggested that people should check out Matthew Ashton’s twitter account (the VP of design at TLG), where he’s been teasing a new set he’s designed for the last week, revealing a new part of it every day. So far, it’s all been 2x3 bricks in various colours. If this is indeed the same product, a CMF series can definitely be ruled out
  21. To me, the best chance for a resurgence of interest in DC seems to lie with the upcoming films, mainly The Batman, Flash, and Aquaman 2. So I’m not sure how a hiatus is supposed to help
  22. I highly doubt it. This type of video has accidentally revealed stuff in the past (like the Dragon Alley GWP set in 2018), but this would be way too obvious. Someone definitely would have noticed during editing. It's not exactly hidden, is it
  23. Mr Borgin, huh… Well that explains the sideburns
  24. They’ve basically added everything scheduled for June, except for the Marvel sets Let’s hope we get to see the New Asgard set too
  25. If that’s a joke, what’s the punchline supposed to be? *shakes fist* BOOOHNEERRR!!
