Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Exactly. That would have made perfect sense if the challenges weren’t already featured in the Main Tower! I mean, they could still do it since one is a playset that’s part of the castle system, while the other is a display model for adults, so they wouldn’t necessarily cannibalise each other. Still a strange choice, if so. My guesses are either a collection of buildable items (despite the PPR suggesting a minifig set) or some type of diorama. Since the set’s named after the entire movie rather than a specific scene in it, maybe it’s a recreation of the poster or a mural, akin to the Wicked wall art set that just released? -

Blaspheming time: Gen I is one of the most overrated things in existence in my book, so I sincerely hope they give the other Gens lots of love too! Also: Charizard and Mewto are particularly overrated in my sacrilegious opinion. Those two don’t even crack my top 100 Pokémon, maybe not even 200 -

If we count every figure this year, it’s an easy to compile list for me (in no particular order): Babu Frik TROS Senate Galen Erso They have been my top 3 most wanted minifigs for a while, so it’s no surprise they also make the top of this list -

The third 18+ set released in March will be 6838 pcs for $650 Must be the first time a theme gets a set this large so early in its lifespan!! Also the first time a non-SW licensed theme gets a set north of $500, right? Well, this is certainly one way to set it apart from Mega‘s past offerings -

Nope! Generally speaking, there are two indicators for whether a set will get a GWP: Early rumours. Usually, we know early on whether sets get their own GWPs (see the Black Pearl or the Enterprise where the GWP rumours appeared pretty much simultaneously) Pre-orders. If a set can be pre-ordered, like Arkham, there won‘t be a GWP -

Why thank you, I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway! Unfortunately, you're most likely right. But still, there is potential even within these subthemes! -
[Poll] Random Lego related questions
BrickBob Studpants replied to SpacePolice89's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My favourite question was about finding random parts outdoors In remember two distinct pieces I've found in the last coupla years, namely a 2x2 yellow Duplo brick and a pretty badly scratched Minecraft sword, both in the middle of the street. I took both of them with me -

The March wave is very intriguing to me, especially since it seems to be a bunch of playsets rather than the usual 18+ fare. Not the first of its kind obviously, but we haven't seen one with playsets in quite a bit! I think the 2022 March wave with the TBoBF set was the last one? (technically based on the Mando S2 post-credits scene, but you know what I mean) That $70 set obviously caught my attention, but I'm not getting my hopes up again Honestly, I wouldn't say no to that!! Nice way to repurpose the Babu Frik piece from the AC too -

Small update: 75459 is released in July, the other two in June. So we have three M&G sets in May and two in June. …what exactly is the point of that? „Spoilery“ sets only a month later seems rather silly. -
Looks like there could be a new licensed theme next year There are three set numbers (72421-23) sandwiched between Star Wars and Pokémon, indicating a licensed theme ^^

Looks like there are quite a few additional sets next year! 4 unknown sets in March 3 M&G sets, the two busts, and another unknown set in May 2 two further M&G sets later on plus another unknown one Quite a lot of sets, considering there will surely be an August wave too (likely with Ahsoka S2 sets) -

I highly doubt the TIE Avenger will appear in a movie or show again, let alone in M&G Its entire point was being a super expensive prototype, and the theft ensured it never got mass-produced. Sure, they could bring that specific one back (since we don’t know what happened to it later) or create another prototype if it served the story, but it‘d be hard to do without feeling a bit forced. Then again, this is SW we‘re talking about, which is no stranger to things being forced Also, really excited to hear production on Starfighter has started! I really like the cast so far and hope they all get minifigs! -

True. The last couple of villain vehicles were two 4+ Jonklermobiles, a skateboard, and Penguin‘s rubber ducky from the accessory pack, and that‘s across 5 years! You kinda have to feel bad for the DC villains in the current LEGO world. The Batman villains get steamrolled by an armada of Batvehicles and then swiftly sent to the Aslume, Lex gets beaten to a pulp by a Soup mech, and any other villains don‘t even get the luxury of existing! -

A Titan Battle set would be neat A good candidate for the unknown $100 set! The Infinity Saga still has so much potential with the Destroyer, Red Skull‘s car, the train chase in CA:TFA, Malekeith‘s ship, Knowwhere, Ego‘s planet, Q-ships, and so on, but nahhhhhh, we definitely need more Endgame final battle and redundant Iron Man sets I think I‘d prefer more Raimi sets right now. -

That‘d be the fourth 66 Batmobile in 10 years! I wouldn‘t put it past them, but we‘d be deep in Luke’s Landspeeder territory with that one I‘d only be okay with that if it actually came with Robin this time. I quite like the idea of a small collection of Batmobiles, even though we already sorta get that on a regular basis anyway *sigh* If only they didn’t ignore the DCU… -

Well, yeah I want a TIE Avenger primarily because it‘s a cool new TIE variant, not because of the minifigs that would be included Cassian would be a noteworthy variant and a Range Trooper an updated rare minifig in my book ^^ They‘d be pretty much on par pretty in my eyes, as they‘re all either noteworthy variants (clones) or upgrades (like Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar with non-rubbery heads à la Plo Koon). Again, significant upgrades fall into my „above average“ category too Also, this is just my personal categorisation and in the end it‘s all about preference ^^ I‘m glad whenever desirable minifigs like Dooku get updated or not locked behind $1000 paywalls, I‘m just not that excited about them
