Given how many sets he’ll appear in, including a $10 January set, the cost of a new piece could easily be justified Also, speaking of which, it’s kinda funny people complain about the lack of cheap sets when there’s a $10 set on the way that’s not a gimmick! Sure, it’s the only one we currently know of, but such cheap SW sets haven’t been seen in decades, and I doubt it’s a one-off.

I was wondering the same thing! I intend to put the set right next to the other PotC sets atop one of my display cabinets, but this seems to be a lot taller than I thought Not sure it’ll fit! Sounds plausible! Hopefully that’s correct, because if it’s any taller than 74cm, it won’t fit

Good point! Still better than the SNES, which had different designs between the US and Europe/Japan, and thus wouldn’t make much sense as a set

The upcoming GWP is allegedly a SEGA Genesis! Kinda funny how the NES, GameBoy, and Atari 2600 were all 1:1 scale almost, while this one will be tiny

I don’t know anything about Anti-Venom’s character, but the notion of him being and doing the exact opposite of Venom à la Bizarro or the anti-fairies from Fairly OddParents gets a good chuckle out of me

Love the set! It’s so vibrant and all the sweets (plus the recoloured pieces like the yellow cups and trans-pink fishbowls) look great! Almost delicious even And r/grandpajoehate is having a field day with this one

I find the concept of multiple versions of the characters being mashed together to create its own universe intriguing, but I do hope we have a lot more playable characters than just the 7 that were announced. Being able to play as even the most random obscure side characters was a staple of the TT LEGO games from the very beginning!

What‘s funnier is that it happened twice! Both the 2006 and 2012 faceprints ended up getting used excessively for other characters And then he ended up having Kaz’s face, which then also got spammed. Surprising the same thing hasn‘t happened to the Keaton version! Yet!

Impressive! This is what true dedication looks like! Campaigning for a set with humour and creativity! …or you could just use your young and impressionable fanbase to spam a stupid hashtag on social media and harrass TLG until they give in to your demands (which would sadly be more effective)

Another Spidey heist paperbag is coming, but this time the baddie is Anti-Venom

Next year‘s paperbag set is Harry in Dumbledore‘s office! Not sure if Dumbledore is included (since it could just be depicting Harry wandering around the office, looking into the Pensieve for instance). Paperbags with 2 minifigs are a thing, but still the exception rather than the norm

It‘d be even funnier if the game featured every Batman-adjacent movie, including Jonkler Folie à Bleugh The DCEU is allegedly not included, but I imagine they‘ll still have Batfleck as an unlockable character.

Love that idea! Also, any excuse to give us another Gambledore is welcome. Seriously, we‘ve had like 10 different Harris Dumbledore minifigs in the reboot and only 2 Gambledores, despite the latter appearing in 6 of the 8 movies!

I think the minifig quality is still good overall! Except for the new Fudge, that is. That stupid overused generic faceprint they picked is just horrendous Why didn‘t they use the Ken Wheatley print again? It‘s still in circulation thanks to the 2023 Gandalf minifig! Please TLG, either retire that generic print altogether or go back to only using it for Stormies and other troops. It looks bad on Holmes, it doesn‘t fit Hawkeye, and it sure as s*** doesn’t work for Fudge!
