  1. Yeah, it’s kinda funny we have minifig lists for some March stuff for other themes and one January set is already available for pre-order (Kachow!), yet we still have no clue what these sets entail exactly Definitely looking forward to the motorbike and Lovegood house sets the most. Some of you may remember how peeved I was when it became clear there were no DH sets in 2021. 5 years later, and they did everything I wanted from those two movies anyway Well, assuming the motorbike set is based on DH, that is! It has “escape” in its name, after all.
  2. Bruh You just crushed his dreams, destroyed his desires, set fire to his wishes, and annihilated his aspirations!! Then again, ripping off the band-aid is usually for the better.
  3. To be honest though, I prefer having three unique Batmen over the three almost identical Batmen and Jonklers we got in 2023
  4. The real disappointment here is the logo’s minifig selection. A gold Man is cool and all, but they really should’ve included some villains. Or any character that isn’t bloody Man
  5. … ARE THEY FOR REAL?? A wave of 4 sets and the minifigs are all Batman variants Don’t get me wrong, the choices for the 3 Batmobiles are great and Battinson with dual-moulded legs and Clooney Batman sound awesome, but we now have a BvS set without the S and a B&R set without the R. And the logo set’s minifigs sounds like a joke. I was joking when I said this is now a literal Batman theme, and turns out it is!!
  6. Depends on what kind of info you mean We’ve known the price, piece count, minifig list, GWP, and release date since like February. The set itself has leaked months ago and minifig leaks have begun as well. The only info missing is the official product description and high-res images, which I expect in late October or early November.
  7. That’s not the 18+ set, the smart brick Pikachu is a much smaller set
  8. TLG: Did I hear Venom?? Say no more!!
  9. Indeed! I hope we hear more about the March sets soon More minifig leaks for the January sets would also be appreciated. Also the M&G sets, even though it’s way too soon for them.
  10. I got curious and looked up some other rare and expensive SW minifigs. Please correct me if I missed some! I’m going by memory I think the top 3 are: The number one spot seems to go to the 2013 “NY I love” Yoda, priced above $2000 for a silly torso Finch Dallow is next, with the cheapest one on BL right now being $1400, which is also bloody ridiculous, but at least he’s an actual character from the movies. 2003 CC Boba Fett takes home bronze, priced at around $900. Also makes no sense to me since better versions exist! Another baffling one is the Yuletide pilot from the Xmas X-Wing. Why is it worth over $600 now?
  11. Eh. Not getting my hopes up before we hear more details It’s certainly possible, but it could just as well be a regular Spidey minifig! I’ve learned not to expect too much from this theme
  12. He has two or three lines in TLJ ^^ He’s piloting the bomber Rose’s sister is aboard on, before a TIE fighter destroys the cockpit, killing him.
  13. Simple, display it like any other minifig As a completionist (sort of), it’s what I do Finch Dallow appeared in a regular set technically, so I had to get him. (And I like TLJ, but that’s beside the point). Where I draw the line is at SDCC sets and figures, plus Mr Gold. Not even I’m willing to fork over the obscene prices for those! And yeah, the increased value doesn’t really matter to me since I don’t intend to ever sell my collection. In order words, I don’t mind at all whenever expensive sets or minifigs get remade! In fact, I welcome it
  14. In general, the most I’ve spent on a minifig was $350 for the SDCC-exclusive Collector ^^ Specifically for SW, it was the Finch Dallow minifig, which - if I recall correctly - was $250-ish back then. I thought I had overpaid, but considering what the minifig’s worth now, maybe not so much I’m not getting any further SDCC exclusives or other absurdly rare minifigs like Mr Gold. My completionism has its boundaries!
  15. Just saw it too! Liked it just as much as the first one, except for the lackluster song numbers. Jonkler’s opera song just couldn’t live up to Riddler’s iconic Ave Maria. And don’t get me started on Calendar Man’s performance! The sets covered the movie pretty well too! Glad they included a more accurate cowl for Battinson. Part III has just been announced too! Wouldn’t it be sad if we lived in timeline where the movie was delayed by two years?
  16. Us TIE Avenger Bros Lisan al-Gaib!!
  17. Since the other 5 sets that don’t have a smart brick are still supposed to be compatible with them, wouldn’t it make more sense for all of them to be based on the OT? If so, that’s definitely a monkey paw situation
  18. How though? If we’re unlucky, those four sets in March might be it for the year
  19. Pretty strange! PAB-exclusive parts aren’t really a thing, are they? So maybe it shows up in a set at some point?
  20. So we went from a Batman theme to a DC theme back to a Batman theme, and now it might become a literal Batman theme with nothing but Batmen Logo, save us!!
  21. I wouldn’t hate a Leto Jonkler minifig, but I also won’t shed a tear if he never gets made The Batfleckmobile minifig selection is either gonna be Man and Soup or more likely, just Man. I’d love to be proven wrong tho!
  22. Mixed feelings on Fives if he’s actually included in a set next year. On the one hand, I don’t mind last year’s anniversary minifigs showing up in other sets since those won’t be available forever. On the other, it happening only two years later is supremely silly Unless it’s not his Arc Trooper armour! That’d be a different story!
  23. No, but removing arms is a new thing for leaks What next, a single leg?
  24. Isn’t that the same faceprint we got last year though? Cobb Vanth’s arm was also part of that leak! Why is it just his arm though, what happened to the rest of the torso?
  25. A coupla years ago I would’ve thought “no way they’re gonna release the same building or vehicle at two scales within a year” but exactly that has happened multiple times since Examples include the TIE Interceptor, 1989 Batmobile, Hagrid’s motorbike, and Jango Fett’s Slave One. So yeah, Oscorp is still on the menu, in spite of the playset ^^ I’m on board with the idea, especially if it results in some new Spidey villains or allies!
