Just finished building them Excellent sets and a lot of fun to build, especially the temple Regarding the hat situation: I got a second copy in only one of the sets, namely the temple. Seems to be rather inconsistent!

If fake, this is kind of a cruel joke, since they added the information to their 2023 list too. One thing though: remember the guy on Reddit I mentioned recently who said a Gunship was coming? This was the minifig selection he reported. So either Promobricks was aware of that post, this is a huge coincidence, or both parties are actually right

On my way to the LEGO Store, hope they still have some copies by the time I get there. First time I‘m buying sets there on launch day If they don‘t, back to ordering online exclusively as I‘ve generally done for the last 20 years And the first person to think it‘s funny to make an Indy prank today will have their face melted.

I think I’m allowed to be upset when something I was looking forward to for so long was cancelled a couple of weeks ahead of its release, and for no apparent reason And then there’s the botched handling of the theme as a whole. I’ve come to accept it in the meantime though. Nothing can be done about this, so I’ve moved on.

I can’t believe it’s been three years already since that clownery Ah, the memories… B2T: While this year’s 2HY is not really exciting to me apart from Gringotts and the BoH, we could still get some interesting minifigs! Not the ones on my wishlist though, as that one has gotten laughably short (Igor, Xenophilius, Scabior, Bill, and OotP-style Death Eaters). Ok, Bill could technically show up in the Gringotts set and Scabior has a small chance of being included in the BoH set, but the rest will surely not be featured in any of these sets. However, we could still see some interesting inclusions like an improved Lavender This year already gives us Rita and Aberforth plus the minifigs from the March wave, so I can’t really complain too much! Our predictions were correct! We were on the right track with the 14+ age recommendation. Stag patronus I assume? Must be an amazing source for trans-light blue pieces then!

The Young Jedi Adventures set has been revealed! Only 3 minifigs though, so I guess there will be another one at some point to fill the gaps

I know we don‘t have any details yet, but with this line-up, this year‘s output will very likely rank pretty low for me, currently barely above 2021. And that‘s only thanks to Gringotts. Major step down from last year for sure

So the only sets the 2HY waves have going for them are Gringotts and the BoH. Oof. HP was supposed to destroy the mediocrity of this year‘s Marvel and Star Wars sets, not join them!

There‘s so much cool new stuff they could still do, but instead we‘re getting pointless remakes and a buildable meme (which we may or may not have brought into existence ourselves)

…This reads like you know something You‘re the one who correctly „guessed” all of the other sets, right? Well, I certainly wouldn’t be thrilled. But to me, it ultimately depends on the minifig selection. I’m okay with remakes as long as they offer us desirable new characters and/or variants.

Indeed! This looks much more like the TROS version of The Senate, which is greatly appreciated. If we can‘t have the real deal, this is a close enough approximation
