[MOC] The Crusaders King Gregory’s Castle
Professor Thaum replied to grzmik's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This castle looks nice, but I'm afraid that the pictures are a little bit too small too really have a right look. It is much more easy to have a look on your lego idea page. I love all those hinged parts- 8 replies

Nice job with the different layers. However, the "raised" or "heighten" ( compared to the light grey background) look of the shots are a little bit disturbing (that's just my perception). I don't know how you made the sea part of the build, to display this kind of glints, but it works very well -
Gosh !! That's wonderful. I like those windows

That's a "lol" for me. The mouth with the tire is a great idea.

For a first try (especially with stud.io in a 3h time) that's pretty good. The hull seems all brickbuilt, could we have some closer look ?

[SR - FB] Hotel in Tortuga
Professor Thaum replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This one will be a large "residence" for Tortuga. This is not a hotel, but rather a retirement house/sanatorium for those who spent too many times at sea -

Yeah right... another killer one... and with table scraps... the color scheme is really well thought. A continuing of your Mars Corporation models ? And always those crazy angles. Thumb up (one more) Fortunately, he didn't have all his stuff available. When I see what he did with only leftovers... Errr... LEFTOVERS OF WHAT !?
