  1. Nice ships. The second-biggest one (with the lateen sails) is to me quite reminiscent of the Berber corsairs before the Sailing Powers took over their North-African ports.
  2. Beautiful work. Like the rock arch on the southside of the island. Nice use of those flexible cords underneath the "crocodile bridge". Love the color shading of the seawater near the beach(es).
  3. Too bad there won't be new printed bricks for these 918/924 versions included. But I guess if I really want it I can let someone with the equipment do it.
  4. You should ask yourself: "where in the castle will I fit my appartment?"...
  5. I've always seen an August 8 release date at my end. Perhaps you switched the date with the upcoming Galaxy Explorer?
  6. The GWP is still available in my region too. Looks like the LEGO group either manufactured plenty of these, or less then expected customers purchase enough to qualify for the set.
  7. Nope. It was a female and male. Males are taller, and evidently have larger plumage.
  8. Go for LEGO's help section. I will have to do the same since I'm missing a masonry brick.
  9. In that case, I recommend downloading the Bricklink Designer Program set "Castle in the Forest", gather the necessary elements, and start building...
  10. Well, this is pretty weird. Appearantly one can preorder this beauty in the US, but not in my region.
  11. At the same time a tremendous set and a "mmm, must improve/change this...". But that's Lego for you. From the box art scenes, it seems to me that the Lady of the Castle's son is literary "thick as thieves" with the Forestmen's couple daughter. At least, they seem to play well together in and near this bedroom. The bed seems really too small to be meant for the Lady, so I reckon it is the boy's room.
  12. I've been pondering for ages it should be possible to sit 2 astronauts next to one another underneath that canopy, and now the LEGO designers just went and did it! Well done! The build looks at the same time sleek and massive (the wings compared to the back of the craft). But that's no surprise seeing what it was modeled after. Love those added interior details, the canted fuselage of the crew spaces and aal those extra bells and whistles like turnable vernier thrusters and removable engines, not to mention the back ramp A purchase for sure
  13. I've noticed in the past GWP's don't get added right after midnight of the day they're valid with a purchase. Probably in a couple hours it will work just fine.
  14. No wonder it doesn't add up. Too many brickclicks.
  15. How can they receive such a GWP if not even the ebay sellers have it yet?
  16. Normally such GWP's are both online and in LEGO stores.
  17. I'd say a scowl is mandatory, even over bearded heads.
  18. Crowded for sure, but a good crowd from the looks of it. Love the snout of the bow statue. The rigging is superb for a boat this size. It looks ready to drop the sail at a moment's notice.
  19. You're far from alone there for the high hopes. If Medieval Blacksmith was the compulsory Ideas set, the testing was definitely there with the 3in1 Castle. My high hopes are it won't stop with this Anniversary Castle, but merely a hint of things to come later in 2023 and onwards.
  20. You've seen medieval BAM in the LEGO shops here? Because I don't see any new medieval torso's in the BAM section of the online store.
  21. It has happened before, but as far as I know only when the GWP's weren't all taken during the first run.
  22. Oh my, that's gorgeous. Definitely reminds me of the merchant/guild houses in my region. Beautiful finishing touch with those three iron bars sticking out of the façade. I don't think I'm familiar with the brick you used to attach them to. Could you tell me the element code please? And what kind of mould did you use on top of the little front roof (the one with the dog above the clockworks.
