  1. Yep, I had forgotten the Pirate pack started today. Luckily the staff didn't. And there were a (limited) number of silver Falcon torso's in the BAM section. Managed to assemble 4 of them, in addition with the blue Magisto and a princess of sorts.
  2. In addition, my store gave a choice out of 4 polybags. IIRC, 2 city, and easter, and one Super Mario bag. I choose he skating citybag. And I could take my castle home still in the shipper box.
  3. Wow, that's simply brilliant.
  4. What can I say? Its golden!
  5. Marvelous! Add wings to it and you have a flying dragon!
  6. Revenge of the Goat!
  7. Thanks for the link. There are indeed some interesting tidbits in the interview. It's no surprise alot of features the designers thought cool had to be omitted. At least, not unless you go UCS Millennium Falcon size. But that's where MOCing comes in. For instance, I hope to extend the gate tower a bit so a removable wall could be put in front of the open armoury section. And I think with the removal of a weapons rack the ladder from the gate house to the armoury could be extended to the battlements on top of the tower. A continuous walkway on the outer wall of the marketplace section would be nice too. Now its just the protrusions that have space to put a minifig on.
  8. What's the rush so of a sudden? It will easily breeze in the next lot for Review. Can't post my voting number since I supported it weeks ago.
  9. According to this article, only since 2008.
  10. Except for buying multiple 10305 sets, I'd say wait until next year to see wat BAM and PAB brings.
  11. You got me running to the LEGO site for a moment. The castle is about 20% cheaper then you thought.
  12. Wow, quite the resource. Been ages since I've seen the word 'ukkies'. In case you like to perfect it, I can make some suggestions for the Dutch translations in the medieval section. 'Kasteelbewoners' (no "-" between the words), 'Drakenridders' (one word), and 'Schateilandbewoners' instead of 'Schateilanders'.
  13. I see it before me already: in some pseudo gothic script "Hope", with the Village Raid goat as the main object on the poster.
  14. On this smallest alternative build, I have the impression its better to use one of the old printed slopes (if available in your parts collection). And shorten the cockpit area with a stud on the front side for good measure. But basically, it looks a tad too big for a one-man ship.
  15. I can only hope this isn't your last project, but merely your latest.
  16. Why limit yourself to pieces from those sets only? PAB exists for a reason!
  17. I assume you mean the big cartons where all the sets arrive in. You use them for storing unopened sets in your storage space? Things are a bit differently in my region. Although I tried once to buy a new Modular set on its release date in January, and was quickly disuaded by the dozens, if not a couple hundred, people lining up outside the store. All in all, its less hassle to order a new set online with VIP access. A couple days later it is already delivered.
  18. Well, now I'm curious. Do tell if you were able to buy the set in a LEGO store on August 3.
  19. Congrats on your success. Your version definitely looks old-school with all those old panels and such. But quite a good job on catching the main view. Kinda wonder if you plan to adjust your build once the instructions are available?
  20. You know, the set is in stores only on August 8, right? Its (online) pre-ordering that starts on August 3...
  21. I've bought the farmer minifigs on bricklink several years ago, so never felt the need to have the rest of the set.
  22. Ooooh... Steam Punk golems?
  23. Keep in mind that these kinds of interviews are done before the set is revealed.
