I'm really glad to hear that there will be a lot of buildings only in the first half od 2016: small villa, supermarket, café and maybe even the gift shop! @ Soupperson1: Do you remember how big the gift shop was? I mean: A real building (16x16 oder 16x24) or only a small stall like the pizzeria from 2015? And do you even remember, too, which ones of the buildings were two floors tall? Klaus-Dieter

    Thank you very much for this information, CM4Sci! So there'll be an fire atv plus a fire starter set. Curious because I wonder which vehicle then they want to include in the starter set. That's a massive list of Fire sets at all! I hope that the most fire trucks will be 6 studs wide and have doors! I assume that the Prison Island will be the flaship set (with 70-100 Euros) with the prison on it. And the Crooks Island will be a smaller set (around 40 Euros) with a hide-out for the crooks. Might it be that this set doesn't contain a van and a caravan, but a van which is at the same time a caravan (meaning that it has a table and some kitchen equipment in the back and a place to sleep above)?     Thank you very much for this information, BlockLogo! I'm not that keen on that small Creator train since I fear that it won't be minifig size. But a small gingerbread house sounds great in three ways: Firstly because imo a small one fits much better than a bigger one, secondly because you get it for free and thirdly and mainly because this means that we are not getting a gingerbread house as the WV set, but very likely a candy shop! I bet for Han, Han in carbonite, an Ughunaut and a Stormie or Boba Fett being included - no more minifigs. Hoth Attack Suppoably a redesign of the version from 2009. Droid Escape Pod I bet on a remake of the 2012 version. C-3PO and R2-D2 are for sure included. Which other figs do you expect - Sandtroopers or Tusken Raider? A Bantha would be cool and be sinec long overdue - but I doubt that there'll be one in an only 30 Euros set. Klaus-Dieter

I more imagine a grocery. But welcome nevertheless. 41117 Pop Star TV Studio I fear that this will be a completely open scenery like the recording studio. So the set for a set on its own unusuable. But maybe good for some new elements. 41115 Emma's Inventor Workshop The name doesn't say much. 41119 Cupcake Cafe Surely nice and a good addition to our Lego cities! I imagine something similar to the café from 2012. 41120 Adventure Camp Archery With 10 Euros there supposably won't be much more than a target, a tree and some eqipment. 41121 Rafting Adventure Camp Lego City needed this set! But I fear that in the Friends theme this one will get too much girlish (esp. colors). 41116 Olivia Expedition Car Uninteresting. 41135 Livi's Pop Star Villa I'm really looking forward to this one! And for 55 Euros it could really have potential! Hopefully the house will be more ancient style like an old villa with columns and small trees in front of it. Klaus-Dieter

    Thank you very much for these links, CM4Sci! 60106 Fire Starter Set Supposably very similar to 60088, but surely a good opportunity for getting more firefighters. 60116 Rescue Aircraft Nooo! For 20 Euros it will be too small and there for sure will be only place for the pilot and the stretcher! 60109 Fire Boat For 70 Euros it should be quite decent - maybe similar to 7207. Do you think that TLG uses the new ship mold from 60095 for it? 60115 4 Wheel Drive SUV More civilian vehicles are always welcome! I'm excited which equipment will come with it. 60127 Prison Island Starter Set I bet for two prisoners, two police officers and a police atv. 60118 Garbage Truck A new garbage truck is a good idea and I did alreay predict it. 60111 Firefighting Vehicle For 35 Euros I bet that it'll be something similar to 60003 - a burning hut and a firefighter vehicle. And I hope that this one won't be another ladder truck (although I fear that it'll be)! 60114 Speedboat Supposably similar to 4641, but because of the price with a much better design. 60117 Vans and Caravans I wonder how both contents can only be 20 Euros together. There's a fear that both will be built very <insert that tiresome argument> (the van without doors and the caravan with nearly no interior). But let's see. 60113 Rally Car I wouldn't have needed one, but it might be a neat addition to the one from 2014 (60053). 60129 Police Patrol Boat With 40 Euros it should be decent - hopefully with a fitting interior, too. 60107 Fire Engine with Movable Ladder No, not another seperate-sold ladder truck! 60119 Ferry It's really a pity that this one is only 30 Euros because this means that 1. it will be only very small and that 2. it won't be a car ferry but only a ferry for passengers. So I could well imagine more some sort of tourist boat, open, an open bridge, a captain and not more than two passengers. 60108 Fire Extinguishing Unit I'm very excited about this set - maybe a regular fire truck with a lot of equipment? That would be since long overdue and be great, too! 60128 Police Chase Maybe a smaller police boat and a prisoner's boat? (Since the prison is located on an island, I expect only boats and maybe helis in this subtheme and no cars.) That doesn't sound that promising. The Prison Island isn't still listed on amazon. Plus there are still two sets remainig: 60110 and 60112. Do you, too, think that these will be Exclusives (minimum one of them Fire related)? Klaus-Dieter

    From where do we have the info that the Carbonite Freezing Chamber will only be 30 Dollars? If so, this set would very supposably be garbage and wouldn't be the begin of a modular CC, but only a stand-alone set (such as the Final Duel) which could never look decent! In any case, I can't imagine the set including more than 3-4 minifigures: - Han - Han in carbonite - Ughunaut (- Boba Fett or Imperial Officer) (-Chewbacca) Imo it's excluded that Luke and Vader are included in this set since their main scene is on this "bridge" from where Luke falls down. And Lea, a Stormie, Lando, Lobot and a Bespin Guard are much more supposably part of a lodge, a corridor, a landing platform or a Cloud Car. Klaus-Dieter

    That's exactly what I meant. That there'll be a regular train in the Friends theme is very unsuppsable and that it'll be part of the winter wave is nearly excluded since there are never sets for more than 70 Euros in this wave. Imo that's very unsuppsoable. According to the Party Gift Shop: Which stuff do you think there'll be sold? Gifts in different sizes, plush toys, birthday cards, balloons and cakes? Klaus-dieter

    No, I bet that it'll be a regular sold set - but firstly in the 2nd half of 2016 (since legomilk posted all subthemes for 2016). Possibly even a / the 170-Euros set like 60097. So I even would count on a parking garage and not (only) a Garage. I hope that it will look more decent than the version from 2012 and that there won't be only the parking garage included, but even an additional building - at the best a skateboard shop, a hardware store, a mulitmedia store or a cafe / bakery. I fear that the Ambulance Plane will be the size of the third version since I count on it being 20-30 Euros because of it being parts of the Great Vehicles theme (in which the highest price per set has been being 30 Euros) Klaus-Dieter

    I wouldn't exclude a gingerbread house being included in a candy shop set. But a gingerbread house on its own would never offer enough playability and would even not fit well in the Winter Village theme. It could more be some sort of small giveaway set or a Creator set without minifigs. Klaus-Dieter

    Thank you for this information, Robert8! A Birthday subtheme - hmm ... The Party Train for sure will be only a very, very small train like the trains on some festivals on which small kids have a ride. the Party Styling supposably is painting one's face. And the Camp Archery, Adv Camp Raft and Camp Tree House sound like redesigns of the jungle sets from 2014 - but without animals. But the Birthday Party, the Party Cakes and mainly the Party Gift Shop could have potential! Let's hope that the Party Gift Shop won't be only a stall (like the pizzeria in 2015), but even be a decent shop like the cafe, bakery, ... . Klaus-Dieter

    Over in the Modular Buildings thread, just2good posted following: So we can be sure that the Corner Deli is going to be a regular sold Creator set like the Toy Shop & Grocery from 2015. I even bet that it'll be about the same size. Hopefully it'll be build again in the way that you it looks pretty good if the fronts are next to each other and the backs (meaing the sides with the interior) are open. For sure it'll be again two floors big. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter

    Thank you very much for this information, finish-last! So the "Toy Shop" was only a placeholder for the acutal set name. If TLG released a gingerbread house, they very supposable would loose me as a buyer like they did last year with the Santa's Workshop. So I really hope for a candy shop which is since long overdue!     Thank you very much for this information, just2good! And yes, it does actually make sense, too - esp. since this would make 18 (instead of 16) sets for the first half of 2016. And 2015 we got 18 sets in the first half of the year, too. The only thing which doesn't sound that good is that I fear that the ferry in this case will be a very small one. Or do you think that TLG is going to release one for minimum 60 Euros (in order to look decent) on its own? Klaus-Dieter

    Thank you very much for the final pictures! Although the quality of the minifigs is without doubts very good, this is the worst series of CM so far and even the series I'll buy the less minifigures from since it's simply too one-sided because of only horror themed minifigures! I really hope that in 2016 TLG will offer us minimum two regular, non-licensed and not one-sided series of minifigures like it was til last year! Klaus-Dieter

Like others already mentioned, I, too, am only interest in the Droid Escape Pod if a Bantha was included - which is imo very unlikely since I bet that the set won't be more than 15-20 Euros. Hoth Attac supposably will be a BP with two Rebel Troopers, two Snowtroopers, a small canon and maybe a speederbike, too. Not that interesting for one who already owns the old Hoth BPs. My thoughts about the Bespin Carbonite Freezing Chamber are extremely ambivalent: On the one hand I hate it that TLG releases this set since this means that we won't get any exclusive CC in the size of 10188 in the next at least three years! On the other hand if designed decent and if there were additional CC sets to put all together to one big CC (like with Jabba's Palace, Desert Skiff, Rancor Pit and Jabba's Sail Barge in 2012-2013), it could be nearly as great as a huge exclusive CC. So only pics and time will lead to a final conclusion. Klaus-Dieter

On the other hand it's very hard to believe that an exclusive CC style set is mentioned in the line with regular sold sets. So it's very hard to say. Personally I really hope for it being not a CC style set but a regular Creator set since a deli would surely fit very well in my Lego City! Klaus-Dieter

On the other hand it's very hard to believe that an exclusive CC style set is mentioned in the line with regular sold sets. So it's very hard to say.     Thank you very much for the set names, CM4Sci! Honestly I must say that I'm very disappointed about that we don't get a bank, jewelery or at least a money transporter! Since these would be much more exciting than a prison which is in Lego's nowaday's police station a huge part of it anyway! Why do we need another Race Boat although we had one with a trailer and car (60085) in 2015?! I don't like it when TLG releases extra Fire Ladder Trucks although we urgently need regular fire trucks! In a new Fire Boat I've got no need. And very suppoably the same will be with the Fire Station. I'm not that fascinated about a Prison Island! Instead of a Rally Car which suppoably will be similar to 60053, I would have prefered a simple civilian car. The Police Pursuit as well as the Police Patrol Boat might have potential. The Fire ATV will very likely be like 4427. And the Tire Escape Fire Starter Set sounds very similar to 60023 (but without ambulance) or to 60086. And the Prison Starter Set like 60066. So all three not that interesting but maybe a good opportunity to get more minifigs. The quality of the Ambulance Plane depends on how big it is. Since if it included only a seat for the pilot and the stretcher with an injured - but no seat for a doctor / paramedic and some medical equipment -, I wouldn't be interested in it. But I'm really looking forward to the 4 X4 Off Roader (supposably similar to 60058, but without jetskis), the Van & Caravan (supposably similar to 4435, but with a van instead of a car), the Garbage Truck (surely similar to 4432) and mainly the Ferry Fire Response Unit! The "response unit" probably will be a small fire boat, don't you think? I hope that the ferry is really a ferry minimum fitting two cars. Klaus-Dieter

    Hmm, again to the "garage": I thought once more about it and you may be right that we might get a gas station since the last one was released back in 2007 (2012 were only two gas pumps). In this case I bet on two gas pumps, a car wash and a small shop. For sure there wouldn't be a car repair included since there's already one in 60097. Do you think that the possible gas station has the same color scheme like the car dealership in 60097 (in order to add it to its car repair) or do you think that it will be a classical Octan gas station?     Thank you very much for the further information, legomilk! I'm displeasingly surprised that there'll be no (at least regular sold) Harbor sets in 2016. I'd go for mountain rescue. If it was a hospital theme, legomilk supposably would have named it "emergency sets" and if coast guard "CG sets". At least I hope so ... Plus TLG has re-inroducing older themes in the past years (2014: Arctic, 2015: Deep Sea Exploration), so a mountain RSQ theme would fit in this line and would be a theme which hasn't been appearing since more than a decade. Why not? in 2012 we got the Forest Fire theme plus the seperate excellent ambulance and the bad helicopter rescue base. And in 2013 TLG did offer us a huge Fire theme and the police - ambulance - fire - set in summer. Plus Fire will very suppoably mainly concentrate on clearing fire. Whereas mountain RSQ / CG / emergency is concentrated on rescue pepole. 1. I highly doubt that we'll get a service station since there's already a part of it in 60097. So I bet a parking garage - similar to the 2012 one. But hopefully more detailed and with one shop included. 2. Cleaning sets: I count on a street sweeper and a garbage truck. Honestly legomilk's list sounds like all of the City sets for next year - (su)possibly excluding the two Exclusives like every year. My guess is: -January: Fire -February: Police subtheme -February/March/April: cars -July: garage -July: RSQ What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
