  1. That's a really good idea, JopieK - and thank you very much for your nice comments! Klaus-Dieter

    City '09?

Thank you very much for the pic of the Chicken Seller, Navy Tropper Fenson! This Impulse set looks ! It's a pity that this vendor doesn't include wheels - but otherwise it's an awesome addition to our Lego Cities. It reminds me a bit of the popcorn stand in the Main Street set. It's really a pity that - from what we know until now - there will be only very few City Impulse sets. Klaus-Dieter
  3. Thank you very much for your nice comments, MightyMegs, Athos and Asuka! That's a great idea, MightyMegs! I didn't think of that. Thanks, Asuka! Yes, I thought the cell surely would be a nice idea since this should be a potential official set. And in an official Lego Western set there surely would be a cell in the court house, wouldn't it?! City '09?

Yes, in principe you're right, Asuka! It's the first but perhaps even the last possibility to get a farm (it could take until 20 years after this one until we'll might get a new one - and with the decline of oil you don't know what there'll be in the future anyway) - so it'll be very stupid of me to not buy it. And I have been wishing a farm for several years now, too. I think it's the best to wait for more pics - perhaps TLG will even change the one or other thing. And then I'll choose. It'll depend on which City and Star Wars OT sets there'll be released in summer. So it would be better to say: It'll depend on several things whether I'll buy the farm or not. But what surely would have been much better is that TLG really should have included side walls and a big gate downstairs in the barn because then the whole set would have looked much, much better! But know not only criticism: I must say that I'm really happy to see some female minfigs included in some of the new City sets! Big compliment to TLG! Then we'll perhaps get some kids soon, too?! And I really like the contents of the farm set: So many nice animals: Two cows ( ), a cat and a dog. And these nice brown fences and the silo and the awesome little vehicle (Does anyone know what that shall be?) and the tractor (ok, it's too big, but very nice).

    City '09?

I took a closer look at the pics - and I now must say: The minifigure collection is great - I'll surely buy it minimum two times. The harvester and the tractor are a bit too big - but they are so lovely designed that I'll surely buy them, too. But with the farm my opinion changed: The included vehicles are awesome - but the buildings are really minimalistic designed that it looks like a very young's child toy . That's really a pity since the set elements would generally make an awesome set . Consequently I won't buy this set. To the possible Summer sets: If the list is right then the camper and the towtruck are surely not very big sets. The only sets which then remain are the garage and the bus/vehicle/helicopter transport. Consequently either the garage would be a big set (70-90 €) or the bus would come with a bus station. Because a helicopter transport can never be 70 € or more. Thinking about this I'm a bit sceptical about the bus/vehicle/helicopter transport set - and I would be very surprised and disappointed, too, if there is no post station. Klaus-Dieter
  6. That's a great City MOC, Grevious! I really it with its classic style (it reminds me very much of the old official set). The exterior as well as the interior are very lovely designed. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  7. Hello everybody! Here's another Western MOC I designed about two months ago with LDD: Court House pieces: 410 price: ??? The court house is the court where bandits are judged. But be careful that bandit Miller doesn't escape! Set includes prison and entrance downstairs and courtroom upstairs, two horses, a fountain, bandit Miller, the governor and his wife, a captain and a soldier. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  8. Thank you very much for this review, TheBrickster! I voted both times for Outstanding because: I really the Arctic theme. I only bought the ice sailor but otherwise no sets because of money and place reasons and because I already collect four themes (City, older Castle, Western and Star Wars Old Triology). But a comeback of the Arctic theme - perhaps as addition to a winter sports and winter rescue theme would be very welcome! I really all sets - the little and the big ones. In my opinion they all were very well designed (not too big vehicles, not too little and not minimalitic, great minifigs and very nice and lovely details and accessory). Klaus-Dieter
  9. Very good job, rriggs! The set you designed in LDD looks nearly like the real one! In the beginning when I tried to use LDD I sometimes thought that its brick assortment is very limited. It's in fact - mainly when you need some special bricks or minifigs - but nevertheless you can design some very nice MOCs with it. I personally tried, too, and I think that my LDD MOCs until now, Modern Twin House, Main Street and Side Street and some Wild West MOCs you can see in my signature, are for the possibilities LDD offers not bad. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for this review, Skipper 24! I voted for Outstanding since this set is a little but very lovely set. I really it (although I don't own it yet ) since it's very similar to today's Impulse sets: a minifig and some nice additional stuff. And I like the black cat which gives the set a more gloomy atmosphere. Hopefully TLG will include a black cat and a chimney like in this set in the new advent calendar, too. Klaus-Dieter
  11. Thank you very much for the pics, KimT! It seems as if the advent calendar comes with some very nice stuff - even though some elements (like this strange castle piece - or what should that be?) are a bit . But I think that the most of us - me included - surely will buy the calendar mainly because of the medieval maiden, the witch, the dwarf and the jester. Klaus-Dieter
  12. That's an absolutely amazing MOC, SirNadroj! I really it because it loos so lovely and detailed designed! The most I like the wobbly rope bridge and the interior in the first floor of the house. But of course everything is perfect - the whole landscape, the many details, ... Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  13. Thiese are some very nice little MOCs, Faramir! I especially like the bridge - it looks perfect! I always heve wished TLG would release a Castle set with a little bridge, a customs officer, a damsel of the castle and a salesman with his little boat - that would be absolutely ! Ah, now I've got an idea for which MOC I'll do next - thanks! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  14. Thank you very much for your nice comments, KimT, millacol88 and Asuka! I don't think that it would be too expensive. Of course the Dewback surely would advance its price. But when you think about all BPs until now include 4 minifigs and a vehicle and cost 14 Euros, then this possible BP can in my opinion surely not be more than 20 Euros. Klaus-Dieter
  15. Hello everybody! Here is my first Star Wars "MOC" (OK, it's not a real MOC, but the droid is self-designed ): Sandtrooper Battle Pack Patrol the streets of Mos Eisley with this brand new Sandtrooper Battle Pack! The Sandtrooper Battle Pack includes a Dewback, a Sandtrooper, a Sandtrooper with backpack, two Sandtrooper Commanders with backpacks, an Imperial Mark IV Sentry Droid and some additional stuff. If TLG designs this droid much better and gives the Sandtroopers shoulder patterns in different colors I really would like to buy a sets like this one since I'm a big OT fan. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  16. Does someone know from which episode(s) the Pirate Tank is? And does someone know the Y-Wing will be a "normal" OT fighter or something from CW/FU/EU? Klaus-Dieter
  17. Thank you very much for that information, JimboJones! I'm very sceptic about this list: On the one hand it seems to be very likely that TLG will release minimum one set of every episode next year. Consequently this list makes sense. And there are some sets on this list which were mentioned by Whung before, too. On the other hand there are a lot of signs which speak against the trueness of this list: First of all legomilk mentioned that the set numbers were already mentioned and that TLG supposably wouldn't use already used set numbers for new sets. (Thank you for this information, legomilk! ) Secondly the set prices are partly very unrealistic - most of the sets (if this list is right) are really too cheap for the normal prices. Thirdly I highly doubt that TLG is able to produce three giant SW sets in one year (Tantive 4, Republic Star Destroyer and Millenium Falcon). Of course you never can know but ... Fourthly the set name "Rebel Endor Base" must be wrong since the Rebels had no base on Endor - only the Imperials. And TLG surely don't give wrong set names. Fifthly I highly doubt that TLG will release two giant sets of the OT in one year (Tantive 4 and Millenium Falcon). And that the Millenium Falcon will be again from episode 5 would be strategic not very wise - from episode 6 would be much better (think mainly about the minifigs: Lando and as a new minifig Nien Numb). Consequently I must say that I think that some of the sets surely are true - but some other sets aren't true and the most prices surely aren't true. Klaus-Dieter
  18. Next to the amazing information that we'll get a minifig scaled Tantive 4 next year I hope that the information on the list of a Endor Battle Playset and some sort of Hoth set with a Tauntaun ( ) is right! And I hope that we'll get this rumoured Home 1 playset, too! These surely would be awesome sets! I mean: The possibilities are there: TLG released the Rpublic Attack Gunship which inclued a speeder bike. So why not using it for an Endor set, too?! Klaus-Dieter
  19. Thank you very much for that great find, darthperson! That custom Tauntaun really looks awesome! I really hope that TLG will release a Tauntaun in that hopefully true Hoth set next year, too! Klaus-Dieter

    City '09?

Thank you very much for that information, Freddie! I thought that the set 8401 City Minifigure Collection which contains 4 minifigs and additional stuff like a traffic sign, a bench, ... is this set. But in this list City Life was mentioned seperately. So do you mean it's the same or a set very similar to this one? So the new train theme possibly might not only be limited to City based train sets - there might be some things (like e. g. hopefully a Western train) which don't really fit in time and style with the City theme? Klaus-Dieter
  21. Thank you very much for your nice comments, Brick n Brick, rriggs and Asuka! The little car in the background is indeed very nice - it's from this nice official set so not designed my myself. So I'm not the only person whose older MOCs are forever lost. But with my older MOCs it didn't much matter since my today's MOCs are much better than the ones from about 10 years or older. Thanks. With this size of MOCs it's easy to keep one color - but at the bigger houses I regrettably always have to use minimum two colors (because I then haven'T got enough bricks) . I plan to show you some more of my MOCs in the near future. BTW: If you want to look at (and perhaps comment on, too ) my last MOCs - here are the links: Competition House Modern Twin House Main Street Side Street Klaus-Dieter

    City '09?

Thank you very much for that information, Dr. Brick! But that trains will be a seperate theme sounds very unlikely to me. And why then didn't they appear on the list? I personally don't believe that there will be four City subthmes in 2009 - that would be too much. And next to Construction and Farm the set list seems to mention a complete third theme: Camper, City Life, Garage, Tow Truck = four sets = a whole new theme. So: But of course I'd like really much to see a camper. BTW: Does someone know/can imagine what CIty Life could be? Klaus-Dieter
  23. Thank you very much for your nice comment, JopieK! Klaus-Dieter
  24. That's an absolutely amazing MOC, Duke! I really it because it looks so realistic! And I like the many details and the lovely forestmen ( )! That's really a great idea what TLG could release for a new Castle subtheme - forestmen/bandits with ruins and big trees - that would be awesome! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  25. That's an absolutely amazing diorama, Brickadier General! I really it because it looks so realistic and includes so many nice - and not nice - details, too! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
