Thank you very much for that news, Captain REX! I started a topic this topic for information about next year's sets. Klaus-Dieter

Great topic, Sting! I luckily own now the most of the WW sets from 1996/97 - they are amazing and I really didn't understand and don't understand even now why TLG abandoned this awesome set. Maybe it really was a big mistake to sell Ninja sets very short after the WW sets - and without a train with station a/the WW theme is just so happens to be not complete. But there is hope: Perhaps we'll see some Western Factory sets (next year or in) 2010. Klaus-Dieter

I voted for until 150 Euros. I think that a price of 70-100 Euros would be realistic and fair, too. Although my budget is very little I  this set so much that I would pay even until 150 Euros for it. Klaus-Dieter

Thanks. Thank you very much for your nice comment, JimButcher! Nice to see that you liked the kind of presentation - I plan to do something like this "show" with some special police forces (City) in the next months. Klaus-Dieter

Thank you for all these reviews, TheBrickster! And: The idea with the polls is a very nice and interesting idea. (It will only take a while until I will have commented on all - so please give me some time. ) I gave this set a four: The vehicle, the minfigs and the design of the house are excellent - only the interior could be a bit spiced up (telephone, some other equipment). Thank you very much for your nice comments, rriggs and Eilif! I thought about that, too, Eilif . But I didn't find something which would fit in very well . By the way: What do you think about the garden gnomes ( )? Do you like them or not? Klaus-Dieter

That's a great review of a great City set! Thank you very much, metalandi! First of all I wanted to buy the 7999 CG Petrol Boat & Tower. But now I surely will buy this amazing platform instead of the 7999 if my local toy seller sells the 4210. Reason: 4210 is something very unusual set (I think we won't get a set similar to that in the next 20 years) and because of I don't like the petrol boat inside (no backwalls , nearly no interior ). We want the amazing 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant!
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
It's great to see so many people interested in this awesome set! Thank you very much for signing in. There are now about 60 (only) EB members who want this set - if this isn't a sign for TLG then I don't know what to do else! I sent a PM to copmike right now where I beg him for informing TLG about us wanting this excellent set so much. So let's see how TLG will react. And please vote here for how much money you'd buy this brilliant set - perhaps that might help to show TLG how treasured this set would be among us. By the way: That doesn't mean that the time for signing in is over. Please sign in when you want this amazing set - every voice might help! Klaus-Dieter -
Hello 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant fans! I thought it would surely be good if we are aible to present TLG an information about how much money everybody of us would pay for this amazing set. So please vote! Klaus-Dieter

I browsed again through the web and found a statement of Jan Christensen himself here where he says that it will not be available for regular sale! And since this statement is from today I think either your informant wants to make a really, really bad joke or the customer's services made again a "mistake", too. I personally think that we know have the right to know what is wrong and what is right - and if we are aible to sell it or not! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that information, Holodoc! The link you posted goes indeed not to the information you gave us - but nevertheless I believe you. (As a precaution I will telephone S@H tomorrow, too, because this member could have told you something wrong, too, Holodoc - althought I really don't hope that!) That would be absolutely awesome!!! Then our petition helped however! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comment, ImperialShadows and WhiteFang! You don't have to thank - I have to thank you all that there is the possibility to do something like that here on this great forum ! I personally liked designing minifigs and taking pictures for my "show" very much - and the most I liked were of course all the nice and helpful comments of you all - thanks! In my semester break I'll take some pics of all my Wild West sets I own including all the minifigs I showed to you - and then I'll present you my Legoredo Town. Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! Here is another LDD MOC I created last weekend: Modern Twin House Price: 76,70 Euros Parts: 526 In a quiet housing area there stands a modern twin house. It's morning. The kid goes to school, the father drives to work, the mother makes the beds and the grandfather looks after his garden gnomes. The set includes a sun terrace, a kitchen, a livning room, a bed room, a children's room, a car, four minifigs and a lot of additional stuff. More pics can be found at my BS gallery here. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! Welcome to my eleventh and regrettably last part of my "Wild West minifig show". This time I present you a little delicacy ( ): Indian Family This is a typical Indian Family: The mother is cooking, the kids are playing with their "mini-stake" and an Indian doll and the father is at hunting. And since this is regrattably the last part of my "Wild West minifig show" I would ask you for joining the poll to let me know whether you liked my "Wild West minifig show" or not. You can find all parts of this "show" at my BS gallery here. Please vote. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Again thanks for the price information, legomilk! The price is here not very low, too - but there are these two great new minifigs (the jester and the medieval woman) which take interest in every real Castle fan (even in me although I really don't like the most other sets because of their fantasy contents) . But you can't really judge from now on if the price is justified since we haven't seen any pics of the contents (despite from the minifigs) yet - which I really wonder about since it is going to be released at the same time like the City one. Do you know whether the Castle Advent Calendar will be an exclusive set or will it be available in every "normal" toy shop, too? Klaus-Dieter

I totally agree with you, darthperson! TLG and Vestas are making the worst mistake ever when not selling this excellent set to Lego customers, too! Like you already mentioned there is a huge audience of mainly AFOLs - but surely JFOLs, too - which really like this set and surely would really much like to buy it. If they don't sell it to the "normal" audience, too, then firstly they would miss out big proceeds and secondly their images would degrade because they don't take care about the wishes of their customers. And is that really what they want?! - I don't hope so! Klaus-Dieter
-
Thank you very much for the price information, legomilk! 19 Euros is quite a lot of money - but on the other hand there are so many nice things included in it that it is justified to cost more than the advent calendars if the last years . Klaus-Dieter

We want the amazing 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant!
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Thank you very much, Zzz! I do this only because I want the set, too! Mit freundlichen Grüßen ---------- I hope that the email and our "sign-ins" will help to convince TLG to release this awesome set for us. Let's hope! Klaus-Dieter -
Hello everybody! Yesterday we got the amazing news of an promo set of Vestas, the 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant. It's such an awesome set that I can't believe that and don't understand why it shouldn't be available to non-Vestas-customers ! Since legomilk wrote that it might help if we sent emails to TLG which include that we really much want to buy this set, I thought it would be the best to open a topic where everybody signs in who wants and would buy this set - and after that beg Copmike for sending it to TLG. So please sign it in order to let this brilliant set become real for us! I really want it so much - I'd spend all my money I can get in order to buy it!!! Klaus-Dieter
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :cry_sad: Only a promo! Lego can't do this with us! I was sooooo happy when I saw this set - and now it shall not be available! Do you mean that we should sent emails to Vestas or to Lego? I think that the best think would be to open a new topic where everybody should sign in who wants and would buy this set and then beg Copmike to send it to Lego. I'll open it in a few minutes. So please wait. EDIT: Here is the link to it. Klaus-Dieter

I thought once more about that red-green minifig. And then something came up to my mind: Could it be a gardener, too? I remember my "little" brother buying some Playmobil market garden sets a lot of years ago. So why shouldn't TLG release something like that, too?! What do you think? Klaus-Dieter

Exhibition: Vestas cooperating with LEGO (Feb 2008)
Klaus-Dieter replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Town
Thank you very much for these pics, WhiteFang! I totally agree with you, Eilif and Lt.Col. Thok.! I hope for a complete new sub-theme. Alternative energies are the future and it's great to see TLG discovering that and turning it into sets. In this way already children get familiar with this (not only Lego) theme. After having seen this :oh: wind ower plant with the neat cottage and the service car - how amazing do you think it would be to have a hydroelectric power plant with a little river/lake, a little cottage with a little landing stage, a little boat, a worker looking after the turbines and a grandfather with his grandchild at fishing :oh: ?! Klaus-Dieter -
Here's a new and absolutely amazing City set: 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant  . Many thanks to Kanal-K1 for that information! Klaus-Dieter
-
So the pics are now official, aren't they? (With official I mean in this case that TLG approves this set.) That would mean that we have to expect this :oh: set already this year - perhaps towards Christmas (would be a good point in time, wouldn't it )? Thanks. That raises my hopes! Klaus-Dieter
-
I totally agree with you, JSN' date=! This house in your link reminds me of the old weekend/holiday cottages ( ). Hopefully the cottage in the wind power plant set cottage includes a nice interior, too. The outside looks amazing anyway ! I really would like to see more apartment holiday homes, too, but how it seems TLG is on its best way towards doing that! Klaus-Dieter
