  1. This is my third input, the Guldkorn Expressen. Once again it is a steam locomotive. The entire train is designed from a drawing on Tekno model car from last 50s to the mid-60s. Detailed pictures of the car can be seen here: http://www.lauritz.com/da/auktion/tekno-ford-taunus-1000-van-guldkorn/i3017193/ This has given me any headaches since the drawing on the car, has not really any proportions. I decided early on in the design phase, that this train should receive Power Functions. So I've used a shortened version of 10194 as the basis for the driveline. At first I had major problems with the front axle of the train, instead of following the rails it will skip and get stuck. This meant I had to go through several tests to make it work properly. The same goes for the wagon, with three soiled axles it will not get around a bend. But getting the middle axel to slide in and out sideways the problem was solved.
  2. Cool! That reminds me of the B-Model from 8422 Circuit Shock Racer from 1995! http://brickset.com/sets/8422-1/Circuit-Shock-Racer
  3. I have reverse engineered most of the vehicles from many of the games. You can see my collection here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=515738 I have prepared all the LDraw files with building steps.
  4. You also missing the 4000019 http://brickset.com/sets/4000019-1/Brand-Identity-and-Experience
  5. You really captured the essence of the car. It is super well done. How about 8448? It would be cool to see them side by side in this scale.
  6. Once again, I'm been working on a train from "Guldkorn Expressen". This time is that one you can find on their website. http://www.guldkorn.dk / http://www.kalaspuffar.se When they reintroduce Puff the Bear. He now has a partner in the form of a rabbit whose name is unknown. The train is somewhat smaller this time, it looks more like a carnival train or a mine train. The wagons har no function this time. It was not easy to build, since there is no "shadows" on the train. Has it been difficult to make one flat 2D drawing without depth or forms into a 3D LEGO model. Also I made an update to the "print" on the bear from the first train, so he looks like more correct the game version.
  7. I have seen photos of the real shop, and I must say; Well done!
  8. As Doc Emmett Brown would say: "Great Scot!"
  9. Very good used of new and old bricks
  10. Well, there is always room for improvement
  11. I'm into the Insectoids series. I love the idea that use insect-like vehicles, and the all special parts that came with.
  12. This LEGO club model of 70815 could be useful to. http://www.lego.com/da-dk/club/member/building-instructions/details/police-mech-df6d5e31782045d3b050896adae142fd
  13. Here is a picture of my train, where it is partially separated. I used it in a contest from RailBricks. That's why the doors on the train carriage is in gray. https://flic.kr/p/q44fHH
  14. Well isn't a little funny? The person what has gallery I liked too, has the same idea with the HXD2. So in way, yes that train was the inspiration for BanBao and me ^_^ But source for power does they use? Diesel or electricity?
  15. This train is a bit different, It was a BanBao model that I have made in to LEGO. The Banbao version is based on a copy of LEGO's IR train base from 2006. http://www.bricklink...?P=55455c01#T=C Can you see the irony?? Anyway... So here is my version, I used the standart train wagon base instead, I added Diesel engine and a modified undercarriage from the Maersk Container Train. Here are some photos and building instructions of the real deal: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=498322
  16. I actually think that you might be right there. Hmmm..... Right now I have no plans. But maybe, and it's only a maybe. By using the micro motor and custom made eletrical contacts pickups on the old 9v rails, like on slot cars. It could work.
  17. Now what is that? Well, it’s cereal mascot and a computer game. In Denmark and Sweden the cereal is known as “Guldkorn / Kalas Puffar”. In other country’s you properly know by the name of “Sugar Puff” or “Honey Monster Puff” From 1956 to 1994 we had the bear “Puff” and his train on the boxes, in 1991 OTA (Quaker) made the computer game for Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and PC DOS. It is this interpretation that I've created a LEGO model. Amiga version The train is rather small, so the proportions are probably not entirely correct, but since my source material has been somewhat limited, but I think it went well to get the cartoony look. The wagons have sidetip function, hinged at the bottom - http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=564284 Here is a lillte extra thing, from the animator of the TV commercial. http://danharderanim...3/guldkorn.html
  18. It is probably not far from reality, cross your fingers!!!
