  1. I thought they were good too, but never bought them. When HF came though they um... Didn't last on the shelves.
  2. Wow! I really like the bron nuckles. I like updated look with armor. You should add some ninja stars. That would be cool!
  3. Ok so I've been thinking. I LOVE bionicle. People say Gen 2 is sucky to good, depending on who you talk to. People also say Gen 1 is horrible to awesome, also depending on who you talk to. So should I buy some Gen 1 figures? I don't know if they're worth it or not. Just compare Gali. On Ebay she's $50. http://m.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Technic-Bionicle-8533-Toa-Mata-Gali-/152032222426?nav=SEARCH On Amazon she's $60! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00005A9AJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1460578264&sr=8-3π=SX200_QL40&keywords=bionicle+Gali But then bricklink comes along and proves me wrong. http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Daniel1183&itemID=82225903 Ok, so Gali costs $10 on bricklink. How about bigger sets like, I don't know,Takatanuva? No Takatanuva, but Makuta costs $25 with just bricks. Takanuva costs $30 on bricklink, with everything but the box. Ok, so they cost $55 in total. ;-( OW! Ok. To recap with questions. Is it worth it to buy Gen 1 Figures? If yes, where and what figures? If no (I'm trying not to sound like a teacher :-P) then why not? If you answer then thank you! If not, I'll feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. (HA HA HA. Get it? Legos are bricks? Brick walls.....?) Makuta: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Redsunz2000&itemID=88428834 Takanuva: http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=moncho12&itemID=90520762 HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! thats funny.
  4. Oh.....:-P derp. What did he cut it off with?
  5. Wait what???? What piece is that? I'm stunned for no reason.:-3 Which sets did it come in?
  6. Pretty neat. Nice backstory. I like the technic arms.
  7. I guess that could work. I have LDD too so maybe I can make something...
  8. Thats ok. I didn't even know that there was a star wars torso. But which piece would I use if connecting? I could use this piece: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=92907&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 To connect onto the back side using a pin at the top hole, and run and axle through the front axle holes of the piece, which would connect to this piece: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=6553&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 That would connect to the head.
  9. So I wondered how to connect Old kanohi heads to using CCBS. I thought maybe I could use this piece( https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=98565&idColor=85#T=C&C=85 ) (Gray Connector) and using an axle to connect to the brainstalk, and the ball like piece, and use the gray connector to connect to a standard ccbs body, and the other side to the ball piece. That would make the neck too long though. How else do you think I could connect it?
  10. I made 2 videos: Onua: And Tahu: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tO-eJmxGyjw
  11. Nice. How'd you connect the shadow trap halves?
  12. Does Takatanuva actually happen in the timeline? (I know. A little off topic, but I don't see any reason to create another topic with one comment.)
  13. I don't know much about old masks, so could you tell me whose and what mask that is? Really nice figure. He would be a nice replacement for Pohatu.
  14. Ok, so first up is Onua: Now Pohatu: Gali: Tahu: Here's all of them: Onua: One handed weapon, made him thicker, changed some bones and shells, and changed his body. Pohatu: Changed his staff to a one-handed sword with a rock on the end. Changed his custom shoulders to be more stable and have a bohrok eyes. Gali: Changed long handled weapon to one small dagger, and another long sword. Changed her crystal things to her shoulders, and the vorox armor to her legs. Added spikes to some shells. Tahu: Gave Tahu a more 'Ninja' look. Changed uniting piece to arms, put LOTS AND LOTS of gold on legs. Changed body to have bohrok eyes, flat shoulders, and nice overlapping crystal piece on shell on arms. Please comments and criticizm.
  15. Wow. They're all pretty good. I guess Epolim is my fav. Mamuk is my second fav, and Udapo my third fav!
  16. Interesting design.
  17. Ok, so I made my own REALLY bad custom gearbox. It's called the GHM1. Link to the video here: Link to Forest Brawler: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=118114#entry2405257
  18. Wow... He looks AMAZING! He looks just like an actual (as actual as pokemon get) pokemon! OMG, just sittig here makes me want to go your home, break in, steal swampert and set him up! IT'S THAT GOOD. You know what? Here's a quote to show you how good it is: "It' finger lickin' good."
  19. My favorites are DEFINETLY Onua15 cuz he's awesome and more awesome. Oh did I say he's awesome? For 2016, I don't know. I think they all are pretty good. When/if I get Kopaka and Lewa that may change my vote. My favorite is probally Tahu. Color scheme: Uh...ok. Playability: Awesome! Joints: Pretty good. His legs are slightly rigid though. Weapons: Technic here, technic there... Overall: Pretty good, like a pear.
  20. Interesting. You should use the bone like piece for the tail: alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=20474&idColor=95#T=C&C=95
  21. Thanks! Really neat hands! Also a very solid figure!
  22. I literally had to watch the scarab moving video 4 times in a row. That gearbox is amazing!
  23. Even with the close up, i don't get how you made the fingers (since I'm new to Bionicle MOCing, but used to HF). Could you show or tell me?
  24. Thanks! I knew there were gold ones, but I didn't know where to get it. Are there any other sets with gold because I only have 20 bucks:-( EDIT: I should probaly go on bricklink (I think thats what it's called)
  25. Help!!!! I've been seeing lots of different colors of fire thingys lately, but I don't know where to get them (set-wise). I have the icey blue-white one from Kopaka2015, a electric blue-yellow one from Surge (HF) brain attack, and the normal firey one from lots of figures. If you could help, that would be helpful. Thanks!
