Honestly that is a total unreasonable thing to expect anyway. They are never gonna make a one hole helmet, nor would I want them to ( budget better spent elsewhere) the two hole looks fine and the difference between it and the no-hole is minimal and imo worth the trade off.

Would be incredibly awesome to have sets for the RTD2 ( and hopefully some way to get all the doctors), I'm hoping the Disney deal ( international distribution) can give it enough attention for this to be possible... However a police box was a real life object so they could probably have that in the pic with no copyright required. Though it is an *interesting* choice and more associated with Doctor Who than the actual object. Maybe we can expect a generic police box set that might as well be the TARDIS but might as well be? Maybe it means nothing. Maybe theres just a who fan ( or more) at TLG. But maybe, just maybe we will live to see Lego Doctor Who again.

I mean we don't know that, and it's not exactly the most logical assumption. The framed photo is from the existing show, and why would Lego receive new concept art for an existing design just to include some voilet pieces. I can't think of any voilet peices to give him off the top of my head but maybe it's the flowers or broken sentinel parts or gambits cards or something.

I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed. I still like the set, I'll still probably get it. But it doesn't really wow me. It doesn't do anything more than it needs to like. Like for Ninjago city markets it works as a Ninjago city expansion but it also has the best minifigure selection for any Ninjago set, and the cable car and the functioning toilet and Dareth's karaoke club, yes that whole set is beautiful but these extra details go above and beyond. Or the bowser where not only does it look perfectly on model but you can actually puppeteer it. Or the castle where yes it is reminiscent of older model but without looking too basic and square. This set is too basic and square. It is too much a set based on the old set than a set based on the same idea as the old set. They are trying to recreate a bland 80's set just as much as they are trying to recreate the idea of an imperial soilders fort. the minifigs on the other hand are almost perfect. There is one flaw ( and no it's not female heads) and it is the unprinted shakos. Though imagine a new shako mold that included hair, that would've unfair to expect but it would've been great. Like I get the nostalgia angle but I feel like that should've come second, it should've been a pirates set first and a nostalgia set second. The galaxy explorer and lion knights castle do not suffer from this problem. A lot can happen in three years, three years ago I'd have to save almost all year to be able to bugdet a single £200ish Lego set, whereas nowadays I can pretty much buy every Lego set I want ( within reason ofc). Though saying that I do agree with you about Redbeard, not every pirate set should have a captian, or else you'd have a very captain heavy crew. The new female pirate is very much preferable to *another* captain ( this coming from someone who doesn't own PoBB , but still has plenty of captains) especially because her torso is easily reusable for civilians, which is a great boon as we don't get many civilians. I'm hoping it (along with the bluecoats ,( I want some to fight my 2009 redcoats)) makes its way to PaB.

(But I didn't finish it because it's not that great) we haven't seen the continuation ( honestly I wish they were just doing a new show) but given that it is a continuation and not a new show, I can imagine that instead of concept art from the new season/seasons that they were just working from stuff from the nineties show.

I like these, Gorian Shard's ship is the definite highlight, it looks truly excellent.

This looks great, TLG really need to get back into making CIS vehicles.

But I suppose in the core wave those banners were the collectables whereas here it's just a bit of flourish.

I've only seen hocus pocus once and IMO it was nothing special, so I thought I wouldn't give a damn about this set, but it's actually really nice... But there are a lot of really nice sets coming so it might need a discount sway me

Given the soutce for the list has been right before with the endgame and Spider-Man final battles, I don't think we need to jump through hoops and discord to listen to another 'source', probably just right with a few spelling/translation errors and if not so what?

This is quite clever, and looks in-line with the movie design. Might get more attention in the licensed themes subforum, since Gotg is one of Lego's licenses and the majority of marvel stuff is there.

Yeah, as @Mandalorianknight says I think you were just unlucky. I mean paint can come off of any part ( just the rubbery ones are much worse) but something like that shouldn't be enough to remove remove the print so I think you probably just got a part with a defective print job ( maybe some dust or something got between the plastic and the paint at the factory or something like that), if the set was sit in production you'd probably have been able to get a replacement part from customer services but I fear it's too late for that now.

So reading the brickset review of the Tenoo(oooooo) jedi temple, the new Yoda head is a rubbery material. I'm disappointed by that, my CW Yoda ( and 2011 Dobby and 2014 flash) have all lost print due being rubber parts that just don't hold on to the paint very well. I always prefer proper ABS parts especially when there's print involved.

Matches the brick and prices interface style render so it should look pretty much like that.

Started the new season and also got the elemental dragon. I've only built the mech and Jay's flier so far but the empress mech has got to be one of my favourite mechs ever from lego. Good shaping, looks, poseablity and size. Got some at my local Lego shop, they didn't seem to have the Sora torso though. But I didn't have a core Nya, but I do no so I've got the complete team in their core suits now. I'm not really the person to ask, I used to be able to check pretty easily from the store calenders but they messed those up, I usually just find out near the time from brickset or on here. That said I did find out that it should be double points from tomorrow. Like out of all the ninjago dragons ever or just the ones on shelves right now?

I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned the Sabine helmet leak, I mean it looks real to me, and if it is, then that's the outfit we are getting for her. I hope her hair is included too.

I dunno in a lot of ways I found it did a lot better at 'modern slang' than neither other cartoon I've seen recently, they used both Sus and yeet correctly.

Well TBH I'm surprised about the rumours soidiers fort for the pirates theme, given that the soilders from the theme were basically the armies of three of the biggest European colonial powers, the British red coats, french blue coats and the Spanish armada. Personally I have no issue with it ( and I'm looking forward to the first set, I only have one blue coat against at least a dozen redcoats ), but I know there are people who will take issue. One theme I'd really love to see them do ( that they haven't outside of cmfs) is ancient Greco-Roman stuff. Also I'd like some Egypt stuff that based around the ancients not just explorers visiting the pyramids. So basically a classical civilizations theme or something. And I'm pretty sure these sets released worldwide?

Just seen the movie last night, one of best marvel movies period. Hopefully Lego seeing how well it is doing compared to say something like eternals will inspire them to make sets for the third one when it comes, at very least loose umtie in sets if not proper sets based on the films.
