I think star wars would be a bad choice for a CMF however I think there is a good way to do it, by following the marvel blueprint and getting it based on recent D+ shows, BBS2 Andor, Mando S3 and suchlike but my guess is it's an unlicensed Space cmf, like we had the monster one. Someone suggested it could be Doctor Who, I don't think that likely but it'd be a dream come true if it did indeed come true.

And here I was hoping that if it was Nintendo it'd be Zelda sets (hopefully the Deku tree is still coming too) but I also had other licensed hopes ( Doctor Who, Percy Jackson and Avatar The last Airbender all seemed relavent and possible).

I might sound like a broken record regarding big figs but I personally think both of those characters would look better as regular minifigs.

Though if there ever was a time it's now, what with the 60th, and the big relaunch for the new series and the D+ deal and all that. There's also a new theme leaked for next match with sets ranging from $15 to $75 ( though the $75 has an abysmal part count, though maybe that's because it's 18+ classic Who tardis with the first 7 Doctors? Seeing this thread bumped made my heart jump. But unfortunately I think we have no reason to think that, I’d love a who CMF, but I think it’s even less likely than sets as Lego only seems to want to make one CMF at a time.

But as a definite set list from promobricks ( who are a proven source ) is out, I'm glad we are getting a decent January wave for once ( I mean I did initially read it as all January sets so that would of been a real come back but no it's January to May). She could have it as a second print on the back of her head, iirc we've only seen one side and the hair looks big enough to cover up a second face print.

Kate looks great, Clint does too (but I don't really care about him). Though Clint has the wrong type of bow, I don't mind and the smaller owl is great.

I think it probably is just a version name rather than surname, like (Sweater) or (Holiday special) or something. Also if we getting another clone BP I wanna see plain P2s and commandos.

I like the Rex ( yes dual moulded legs would be the perfect solution to the kama situation, but I would I have left off a fabric kama if included anyway, though they should give you the option), but I won't be getting the Venator anyways, hopefully promobricks are right in thier speculation that rex will show up elsewhere soon.

In one of the rendered Chewbacca images there are brown model joints on his bandolier, I'm going assume that this is some sort of rendering error as it'd be weird to break the colour lock for something so unimportant and then to use the most notoriously brittle pigment. Odd choice for a regular set, I guess we must be getting another D+ Christmas special for it to the in to. Does sound like a fun set though, I'm certainly intergued.

So is the Christmas special set a regular retail set? I had assumed it would be some sort of promotional set, like a GWP or something?
