  1. I'm like 80% the one in the clone wars show used the exact same model but recoloured.
  2. I've been 10, we all have. I work with children, they aren't as ignorant as you seem to think.
  3. It does look wonky but I'll wait for non-Preliminary images B4 I judge. And Another condescending post by Flawless cowboy. I mean it's not a juniors set, if it was I'd get where you were coming from. But why do you think children want thier sets substandard ( though actually I don't think this looks too bad and will look better in official images).
  4. True but if I am to speculate I'd say that from the silhouette it looks like the pony tail part to me. The one Gwen Stacy uses in the dail Bugle set. It's sort of lopsided like that. Though I'm not who'd use that part. Maybe Sabe, Toryn, Q'ira, or Connix...oh or Meero! Or
  5. Have actually played a few more sonic games since I posted this, but anyway I'm definitely not getting the idea set now, I'd rather get the death egg robot. I might also get the animal rescue island to complete the (available) cast though I might just wait till the next wave as it might have better sets with Amy and Tails and potentially Knuckles and Shadow.
  6. I would guess better than the last one but not a 'full' interior.
  7. I mean I can't say anything about the States because I've never left Europe in my life. But it was covered well enough in UK for people to know that he shouldn't have gotten away seemingly scott free. I mean at least with the crowd that follows online move news and comic book movies there were a lot of people saying that they would just skip it or pirate it cause miller leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I mean as @mandalorianknight is saying, it not just that they didn't reshoot it or anything, I get that the movie was mostly finished but WB acted like it was a total non-issue and ,yes they might have just been waiting the movie to come out first, but they even seemed to suggest that they might make more movies with Ezra in the role. I was not yet born when the Keaton movies came out but I still watched them growing up so I can't say they were thinking only older people were Keaton fans, they were probably just aiming for a well liked previous batman for some nostalgia points and given batgirl it seemed he'd agreed to come back to the role for more than just the one go round. It was advertised over here, I don't watch live TV only streaming so I don't know about adverts there but I've seen it on billboards and buses and had a flash advert in the cinema when I went to see spiderverse ( and maybe Gotg3 and DandD I can't remember). But of course it is multi-factorial, is not everything? But I do think that the Ezra Millar situation is too big to be overlooked when discussing the films lack of success. I mean it's almost an insult to the character of the flash to have his first 'solo' movie be a flashpoint story. Yeah you're right, though I don't think superhero fatigue is as much of a thing as that it'd affect all superhero movies, it just means each superhero movie has to stand out more to be noticed now cause there are so many. Across the Spider-verse, Gotg3 , No way home and The Batman all seemed to bypass the fatigue problem. I mean TBH from adverts I saw the Flash didn't really look to stand out much, Keaton's batman was the most intriguing thing to me but it so obvious that he was there as nostalgia bait which a better film might not have needed I mean No way home tried ( and failed) to hide it's nostalgia bait characters so it knew it was getting bums in seats without them because the Sony Tom Holland Spider-Man films have built a trusted quality that the DCEU has continuously failed to do. ( And honestly imo they have better source material than marvel but they just keep boneheadedly screwing it up anyway, Gunn's takeover seems to be exactly what they need)
  8. I mean if it has the opening hangar section then I can see some gunships and y-wings, but I think the deltas would be like just single studs at that scale
  9. To be fair I think the two are linked. Audiences are not as forgetful or forgiving as WB assumed, I know a fair few people who have skipped it due to the lead's behaviour, personally I will still watch it but not in the cinema.
  10. I wonder if we'll ever get a Lego Meows Morales?
  11. Hera does look good, though I can't help but think that she'd look better with normal eyes. I mean twi'lek eyes are just the same as human eyes and they don't colour those normally.
  12. I'm all for different styles but what important is the end result looking good. This Spider-Man looks okay I guess but definitely not on par with the batman one. And the same can be said about the batcave being sorta okay but not measuring up to the bugle.
  13. This is gorgeous. If this was an official set it'd be set of the year! ( Though if it was a set I'd want Bill, Nardole and Missy included and maybe a post-regen 23).
  14. I feel like a giant yellow chainsaw would make more sense.
  15. So Spidey and Batsy are the biggest heroes from each brand, and it seems Spider-Man got the better D2C but Batman got the better Art set.
  16. Arrr it be arr rated, yo-ho you scurvy seadogs. But if the set isn't based on the movie does the rating matter anyway? What about the loose tye ins from the suicide squad movie?
  17. Yeah it's definitely 3 seperate images shopped together, and it's yet another Lego internal render ( like in PaB online and Lego set inventories) which have been common this year. She looks pretty good, I almost expected reused hair and head but it's awesome to see they didn't give her the superheroes treatment. These Ahsoka sets are shaping up to be a treat.
  18. It worked for bowser but mario is human so there's the uncanny valley effect to think about.
  19. Well there is an oddly positioned pier in the Eldorado remake, too tall for the row boat or the set's medium sailboat. Perhaps a large Imperial vessel is coming (at somepoint)? Perhaps not but it's possible.
  20. Can I then appeal this? I wanted to try to do my own take on an Eldorado Fortress remake. The official set has grown on me since, but my first impressions were that it was almost too similar to the Original, not changed or modernised enough, kinda plain for a 2023 set and dare I say kinda small for the price ( also the shakos should've been printed but as I'm thinking of a digital entry I might not be able to fix that one). So my idea was to try and make the set I was hoping it would be (though I might make even bigger than I'd anticipated the official set to be, just to add some more detail and try to make it almost a pirates equivalent of the lions knights castle). But then I saw this line when re-reading the small print so I thought I'd give my appeal.
  21. I could only get the first of the images to load for the moment (nevermind figured it out, Flickr was just being contrary) but from what I can see it looks pretty good. I think it it my favourite part of it but I question the placement of the aquarium+ hamster garage and teashop on the ground level as the official modules are all quite consistent, having older style wood fronted building on the ground level. It does fit well with workshop one you did before, but overall I think it's an improvement as it has more dynamic shaping and colours that suit the Ninjago city style.
  22. Red painted courscant guard Yavin temple !? Though we could get an alternative one, I legends it was a sith temple pre being a rebel base ( and a jedi temple afterwards) so maybe if cannon follows suit we'll get a sith Yavin temple set for dawn of the jedi or something ( or a Rey's jedi temple for dawn of the jedi?)
  23. I don't think that's what @Llewop was saying at all. Merely that the fact that there are delays ( which are repeatingly inevitable in today's TV and film landscape) means that TLG will have the opportunity. Not that that the reason for the delays or anything, just that the delays are happening and so TLG can 'catch up' during the delay, not that that's the why they are delayed. And there are delays, the film slated for December 2025 is now may 2026 but I'd expect more delays before we see anything, it just seems to be how the industry works nowadays. If I recall correctly almost every single star wars D+ last year was delayed by at least a day or two.
  24. But it's better than getting characters that are in almost every set anyway? And it means we get more unique and useful parts. In other words - I see this as an absolute win.
