LEGO Ninjago 2021
TeriXeri replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Overall, I'm excited to hopefully see that neon yellow/green color become a regular appearance, Coral and Turquoise started quite rare at first but now are pretty much grown into the palette, and a solid neon yellow can certainly do a lot of cool accents for Ninjago, or as accesoires/ghost legs with a contrast color, or even as a snake fig. I heard some complaints about the transparent neon yellow not being bright enough on those recent 2021 ghost legs, makes it look almost like grey, I know dual moulds are pretty random, but a solid neon yellow might fix some of the brightness at least. -

With rumours of a new color being a solid neon yellow, that could be very interesting for Sci-Fi imo. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Apparently, there's going to be a new LEGO color being a solid neon yellow. Maybe LEGO can finally use that color for some emergency services, as it's common in Europe nowadays to have neon yellow accents on cars, or even mostly neon yellow colored ambulances/medical helicopters. With Gracie Goodhart in 60277 Police boat having a clearly British inspired Police uniform, maybe there will be a UK inspired police car ? Personally would love if the Light yellow would be replaced with a neon yellow, not that the 2019-2021 Fire/Police looks bad, I think if it's as bright as the Coral Color, a neon yellow would look even better. It could still be entirely different figures , it's just speculation, but it just adds up if those fictional minifigs work in City, work on a Moon mission and joined the LEGO Space team after 2020, it fits in the "story" of City a bit. -
How do you keep track of which parts you own?
TeriXeri replied to howitzer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I add them to Rebrickable (it can synchronize from Brickset) , it gives a rough estimate of parts from sets. The main thing that would be nearly impossible to track would be if X part is used in Y moc on a large collection. (unless the MOC is for example built digitally first) -

One interesting find for the possibility to see the LEGO Space Team figures in the 2022 LEGO sets : https://education.lego.com/en-us/build-to-launch There are printable cards here which show the minifig's background/job and for the Kate figure it says "LEGO City commercial pilot" as background. https://education.lego.com/v3/assets/blt293eea581807678a/blt982122bda12c4541/612e2b2e8e16ab655b347a1a/LEGO_Space_Team_Cards_8.5x11.pdf All the 8 characters are named and City has been incorporating named characters for a while now. -
There's still a chance we'll see those "Classic Space" logo inspired figures in the 2022 City sets : https://education.lego.com/en-us/build-to-launch#teacher-resources It lists those 8 characters with names and backgrounds here as well : https://education.lego.com/v3/assets/blt293eea581807678a/blt982122bda12c4541/612e2b2e8e16ab655b347a1a/LEGO_Space_Team_Cards_8.5x11.pdf For the Kate Character, it says "Professional Background : LEGO City commercial pilot."

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah I saw that after I posted, the set number doesn't really match, but since LEGO is trying new packaging in 2022 to reduce plastic waste, maybe those minifig packs could be in cardboard boxes again as back as the older Starter Sets. But yeah, a €20 set also makes sense since those Elite Police sets were exclusive to LEGO as well (in my country at least) -

Maybe it's one of those minifig packs like 40372: Police MF Accessory Set -

Maybe it's an exclusive to LEGO.com like the current Police Boat, so it won't show up in retailer lists. -
Maybe there's a shortage of electronic parts ? Considering all the chip shortages and container issues it wouldn't even suprise me if that's part of the reason City train sets are in lower availability right now.

LEGO seems to have more and more "exclusives" to their own webshop only , it's even happening to common themes like City (60277,60305-60308) and Creator 3-in-1 (31120,31121,31122) , which is odd. And even if some of those sets happen to make it to other retailers, it's usually a few dedicated LEGO websites, and there seems to be some set rule where they can't really discount them)

So far the 40174: LEGO Chess set is still being sold as well, for at least another year. 2020 Season 13 of Ninjago was the closest to an original LEGO Game in recent times , sets acting as game board, special spinner dice, hearts to represent health etc, and official rules. The page for the game is still up, with a download link to a PDF : https://www.lego.com/en-us/campaigns/kids/ninjago/choose-the-path

Best course of action with missing parts.
TeriXeri replied to MookiMoo's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I only had 1 case of a missing part, and in that case I got a grey 1x6 plate that doesn't belong in the set in that color, instead of a 2x2 white corner brick. LEGO did send me a brick once I contacted them. It was set 31069 , which was supposed to have 30 of those corner bricks, so probably a packing error of some sort. -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I suppose it still saying "Temporarily out of stock" in Australia, while it says "Sold out" in Europe , confirms that it can/should still come back in that region, but I don't think it'll come back in Europe. -

A mixed type of Theme could be pretty cool, maybe not with a main-cast of characters, but more like some time/dimension/planet traveling theme mixing a lot of different things, including minifigs/minidolls. (just regular sets, not LEGO Dimensions 2.0)

That Home Alone set looks pretty good (after seeing details) , it's the last large house set since 4954 or 6754, and I think more then just Home Alone fans will be interested in it. Brickset just posted Reveal and it has full interior 23 pictures : https://brickset.com/sets/21330-1/Home-Alone

60262 (Passenger Airplane) isn't listed as Retiring on the European LEGO.com , neither is it out of stock / sold out. 21 other City sets however are listed as retiring, and 60262 (Passenger Airplane) isn't one of them, so I don't actually expect 60262 (Passenger Airplane) to be Retiring this year . -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
With a Creator 3-in-1 set releasing January , which has a Tiger main build (2022 = year of the Tiger) , and has a Koi and Red Panda as alternate animal builds, it's clear it's timed/focused on the Asian/Chinese market first and foremost. All the other 3-in-1 sets release in March, which would be after Chinese New Years. I don't think they would suddenly stop the Chinese New Year Seasonals with no news ahead of time. -
Everyone has a problem ? seems like a bad wording here, people discuss minidoll balance here, but I don't think every minidoll post was about removing them entirely. As for Friends, I think it's hard to make drastic changes with an already, soon to be 10 years established theme, with 5 girl main characters. If LEGO did want drastic changes , It's probably more likely for Friends to get canceled and replaced by some girl focused minifig theme, instead of simply rebranding existing Friends styling to minifigs. (this is a WHAT IF scenario, I'm not saying I want to remove/replace minidolls) As for Disney Princesses etc, LEGO did have minifig variants in the CMF line but ultimately I don't see Disney sets change at all unless LEGO does decide to get rid of minidolls entirely (again this is a WHAT IF scenario, I'm not saying I want to remove/replace minidolls) LEGO Movie 2 also had minifig / minidoll together so that representation makes the above scenario even more unlikely imo.

I haven't followed US Lego.com as I don't shop there, but looking at brickset, which tracks availability dates at shop@home for US, it's a bit odd all the sets were only sold from the 2nd to the 6th of october. 6 sets going "Temporarily out of stock" (as in LEGO stopped selling them temporily) at the same time could explain something was up with the sets in the region. They are still sold In Europe.
