@Renamed99 Nope, sorry. I do not know how much it costs, but would estimate $5 per meter... -

Dang! Wish I could do that... What kind of scanner did you use? Prototype machine, or one in production? Those re some really nice images, super high resolution. -
Sprite HK-P4 *Now With FREE Instructions!*
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Leonardo da Bricki's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks. It was partially inspired by Portal, I liked the smooth curved shape of the turret's head, and wanted to try something like that. -
Finished up the remaining details of this build. I present to you.... The Project Machina Teneb Destroyer Drone!!! MT-D9 The Project completed, the scientists and military engineers set up a demonstration of its abilities. The first MT-D9 was deployed against a known terrorist cell. None survived the brief encounter, in which the Destroyer took less than 40 seconds to eradicate all members of the cell. MT-D9 Cityscape A huge upgrade over the Sprite-class HK-P4, the MT-D9 Destroyer has four times the armament and is twice as smart. With Level 9 AI, it is capable of learning, evaluating situations, and original thought. The weapons loadout can be changed according to mission parameters, but the standard armament (as shown) consists of one Martek Industries Oppressor Cannon, capable of firing at a rate of 800 rounds per minute; a single rack of 8 WP (White Phosphorus, pronounced "whip") Rockets; and a ball-mounted rack of 14 assorted missiles, including DPRs (Deep Penetration Rocket), High Explosive missiles, and anti-personnel fragmentation rockets. It has a RTG power source in the hip region, with the main AI core contained in the thoracic region. Each red "eye" can see in the infrared, visible, and ultraviolet spectrum, and each runs off a separate processor, allowing the MT-D9 to track and engage multiple targets, along with performing real-time threat analysis and employing facial recognition software. MT-D9 MT-D9 Finally, a photo of the MT-D9 and Sprite HK-P4 standing side-by-side. MT-D9 & Sprite HK-P4 Comments and critiques are welcome, tell me what you think I could improve on. More to see on Flickr. Hope you like it! - Leonardo da Bricki

Body Battlers: A "New LEGO Theme" of MOCs
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Nuju Metru's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I would definitely pick these up if they were in stores. Awesome ideas, executed very well. Personal favorite is the "snot rocket" that comes with convertible. -

You need to find very small gauge piping at a hardware store. And I don't think Lego is the best medium for this... The plastic might even shatter from the temperature. -
A need arose in the army of the Galenis Confederation. A war machine like none seen before, a machine that could attack swiftly, engage multiple enemies, and survive unscathed. It needed to be extensively armored, yet fast. And above all else, it had to strike fear into any who opposed it. From the twisted minds of the scientists in Tech Lab 2C came Project Machina Teneb. A hulking beast of metal, the MT-D9 was two/thirds the size of its cousin, the Sprite HK-P4. However, it packed almost four times the firepower, and was over twice as intelligent. MT-D9 Leak More will come soon... This is just a sneak peek. Instructions are now available on BrickSafe!!!

Looks great, very slick, smooth and advanced, especially when using the Classic Space minifig. And the base is excellent.

When the Late World Order collapsed in August of 2079, from the ashes of Europe rose the Galenis Confederation, a group of nations bent on control over the remains of the world. Machines were their enforcers, and there was no taking prisoners. The main weapon in their arsenal was the Sprite-class Hunter/Killer (Patrol) drone. Sprite HK-P7 Almost 14 meters tall, this machine has Level 4 AI, meaning it is autonomous, but not free-thinking, and it is tied to a central command system. It is armed with a Martek Industries cannon, capable of firing at a rate of 800 rounds per minute. A Luminaire Tech spotlight augments it's suite of visual detection systems, which include radar, lidar, infrared and ultraviolet. Contained in the body is a Martek Industries Viper Launcher. It has a magazine of 16 rounds of HERP (High Explosive Rocket Pod) missiles. Each missile bursts open to release 7 individual rockets in a dispersed pattern. The Sprite uses several gyroscopes to maintain balance, and it is capable of running at speeds of nearly 50 miles per hour. I have this model built for about two years now... It has been standing on my self, and since I got a new shelf, I had to move it. And I decided it needed some upgrades... I tweaked the head just a bit, and overhauled the feet and lower legs, which were orginnally too bulky for the spindly model. And I will let the photos take the place of words, because I have been rambling on, and no one likes that... This is the view of the oppressed: Sprite HK-P7 Side profile of the Sprite: HK-P7 Profile A view of the cannon. I am quite happy with the design, it works well and is easily side-mounted. In the future, I might try it with the 4L bars instead... Sprite HK-P7 The secret missile launcher: Fire 1! Front view of the entire machine. It is 15 inches tall. Sprite HK-P7 by Will Mood, on Flickr Comments and critiques are welcome. This was my first attempt at building a mech, so tell me how badly I screwed up. I will have another one to show tomorrow as well. Instructions can now be found on BrickSafe. - Leonardo da Bricki

If you will allow me to make a recommendation for your next project, I would suggest an Aston Martin RB 001 as a challenge, now that you have proved your capabilities with the Ford GT. AM-RB 001

One build after another, after another, after another.... Just keeps getting better... Cannot believe can keep this up! The shaping on the GT is crazy... It flows really well, just like the real thing.

Cool excavator, sometimes simplicity and playability is a nice change. I do agree with @I_Igor that the larger track links would work better here. The chain link treads are too narrow.

I like the concept, it is really cool. And the frame with the triangles looks great... But what is the wacky function going to be?

Really nice gunship. I like the ability of the gunner to move between both sides of the craft.

Awesome! The construction looks so simple, yet it makes for a great build! The hands are done really well.
