  1. 100% is some type of drop ship scam or just a scam... I see these all of the time.. This seller in particular only has 13 feedbacks from selling.. No one is selling $200+USD sets for $70 USD..
  2. Very Cool..! I got to see a module based on this principal in person at Brickfair(I think it was called the multiplex) a few years back.. Yours is completely different though .. Amazing to see 2 completely different approaches on a similar idea...
  3. Just noticed that the U.S. Lego Shop at Home site has the 42052(and the rest of the 1st half Technic sets) Available January 1st... Which means that they'll probably be at Toys R Us in the next week or so..
  4. The 8285 Tow Truck is a pretty valuable set.. Also not sure if this fits becasue of the Racers name, but the dealer edition BMW Williams F1 is VERY expensive.. I know someone who paid well over $1,000 USD for the rare set(One on the bottom)
  5. I was just joking.. I have have friends from the U.K. that use the term "wanker"
  6. Of all of the car models that Lego has released in the past that have used stickers for headlights, here is one that not only would have probably looked better using them, but would have been closer to the real thing in doing so considering the majority of the real ones use realistic looking vinyl ones..
  7. Pretty cool.. I have a new door mechanism for a new model that I had to put on hold a few months back that uses the small turntables as well.. The design and the way they are used is completely different than yours though..
  8. I can't wait to see this video that he is going to make of how much of a wanker that you are... I am going to take a wild guess and say this cat is from the U.K.
  9. Nice review..! Looks like I came pretty close to figuring out how that gearbox worked... It makes more sense to have one ratio 1:1 and the other 3:1 since you can see the speed change much better when it rolls along..
  10. I meant that with all of the recent sets in white that I was surprised that part wasn't available in that color, meaning white. I just used a pic of it from bricklink to show what part that I was talking about.. Jim, what do you think the chances of the new Heli having any really great extra part(s) will be..?
  11. I must say that with all of the recent sets that have come out in white, I am surprised that this part still doesn't exist in that color..
  12. Yeah, you're right.. Comparing it with the orange parts on the Kart Racer in the catalog, it is definitely lighter..
  13. Looks like the very rare and expensive 11L liftarms in orange are making a retun.. I guess this also confirms new axle colors as well..
  14. I use them when I come up with an intersting way to incorporate them first.. Like "From this angle it would make a cool headlight" or "This side of the panel would look cool and flow in the back" or "These 2 panles together look like an ear"
  15. Hmm.. Not so sure that TLC would use 3rd party parts for their models..
  16. Are those White #4 connectors in the new Star Wars Poe figure..? Those haven't been around for about 10 years and have gotten kind of rare and expensive.. And ironically the last sets they came in were Star Wars sets(not counting that rare First Lego League Challenge set)
  17. According to the description at the Toys R Us website, it does have steering.. Wheelie from the start line to the finish with the high-powered Drag Racer, featuring a vivid-blue and black colour scheme with flame stickers, working steering and a detailed V8 engine with moving pistons. The body shell of this is robust 2-in-1 LEGO Technic model can be lifted to reveal the chassis, exhaust pipes and working transmission. Upgrade with the 8293 Power Functions motor set (not supplied) for motorized driving and wheelie functionality. Rebuild into a Supercharged Dragster for a double build-and-play experience.
  18. The appearance of the drag racer is a bit of a let down.. At least there are new blue colored parts.. Didn't someone mention that it had pistons in a new color.?
  19. I know this isn't built correctly as it is impossible to see what is behind the seat, but this could be the principle behind the 2 speed gearbox.. Also, one of the rear wheels on the Lego model might be a dummy wheel instead of a straight axle.. Forward would be 1st Gear and backwards would be 2nd Gear.. Edit: The short video in the link has sound and is better quality than the gif here... The piston is moving so fast in 1st Gear that the gif frames cannot show it properly.. There is what looks to be a portion of a link of some kind on the opposite side of the seat..
  20. I am hoping that we do get a few new clutch gears...Would make things much easier.. A 20 tooth clutch bevel gear in the Race Kart would make the 2 speed gearbox very easy..
  21. Yes, I have a friend that races top fuel and it is very expensive..
  22. Wonder if we'll finally see a new type of clutch gear..?(maybe 24 tooth)
  23. Funny thing about this is that Dragsters and Top Fuel Cars don't have transmissions.. Maybe the main model is just a drag-strip car..?
