  1. A minifig has to control it somehow! :P
  2. Probably, and if not printed as a second booklet, it will always be on the Lego website. I dunno... Friends has a hot dog shaped car!
  3. I'm not trying to be negative, and I do think it is super cool to see sets like this exist, whether an official set or just a MOC. But there is certainly a point in being realistic, too. And don't get me started on the million 'two figs and a baseplate my 2year old made' Ideas :P
  4. That cargo plane looks very... chibi. So stubby.
  5. Not a big fan of agricultural sets, but dang those tires look great. Can't wait to see someone throw eight onto a crawler.
  6. Haha I feel so opposite from you guys. Of these, the only set I will make sure to get is Axl's carrier. Everything else looks good but no great for the Knights, but just like the first wave, zero of the bad guys stuff draws me in.
  7. Collecting trans blue crystals too, no less! I'll probably get most of these sets, even with that stubby volcano. Can't wait to see the airport sets, I just missed the last run of the subtheme before coming out of my dark ages!
  8. The engine parts we're used to seem to be pretty off scale for most every set they come in :p
  9. Absurd sets like this have zero chance of being made through Ideas (Lego already has the property, it's size and price is ridiculous, etc), yet they get ALL the attention on the website. So any of the actually original, well thought out and reasonably sized Ideas get ignored. It's just kind of cluttering up Ideas and using it as a MOC website with a built in popularity poll.
  10. Very cool, but not a single chance is this going to happen.
  11. But they said the Volvo has pneumatics, so either they made a mistake and a motor is used to run the pump, or there is some hand controlled pump of sorts... I would bet it has a motor.
  12. eBay, Bricklink, Amazon, etc.
  13. Eep, how did that happens. Wasn't it packed with the instruction manual against cardboard?
  14. 278 sets, and only out of my dark ages for just over three years now. Slowing down my purchasing though.
  15. I really like the chain cycle ambush, so I recommend that, but don't you pass up Master Wu's dragon. It is a fantastic design you shouldn't ignore.
  16. Look at the two trans orange lift arms on the front like tusks, and the big panels like ears and a trunk... and tada!
  17. I'm sure it comes down to their statistics of how often a set is missing a set, and how often you are requesting parts. They just need to cover themselves, because there are people who abuse this very helpful service. Even if you provide proof of purchase, it may seem suspect that you request parts more often than most. Just give them a call and explain in what you need, why you need it, and if they bring up then frequency just tell them it is because of how many sets you purchase.
  18. I think the size of the set is good as it is, but I cannot stand the lack of an upper wall between the bank and laundromat on the first floor.
  19. Love it. This is probably just me, but looking at the front, I feel like the alley ways would both lead to one larger alley lined with shops. You've given me an idea for my city :D
  20. Certainly in the short term it will be fine, but long term the motor might seize up or get weak.
  21. ^^^ Those unprinted Chima heads would make for great wall trophies!
  22. Wheelie bars are of course meant to keep the front of a car down, because steering is very much needed on a drag strip. Once a car starts doing a wheelie, you better hope it doesn't starting to turn! But that as said, wheelies look cool as heck so of course it makes for a neat feature in a set.
  23. That's going to be one fantastic display!
  24. First thoughts! Ekimu: as someone who loves trans blue more than should be allowed, I hope the final set has less of it or looks more varied in better pictures. Too much! Though I bet the good Mask from 2015 would balance things nicely. Storm Beast: Yesyesyesyesyes Umurak: As someone said before me, he looks a lot like Ganon from the Legend of Zelda. No real interest in the other two...
  25. I'm the same way. I want to want it! So much of my youth was spent watching reruns with my father, and when I was young I loved Batman. Of all the depictions of the super hero, this was always the one I felt was right. Yet looking at the set, and how much it costs... I simply cannot convince myself it's worth it.
