  1. This hits me right in the nostalgia! Especially when Lego keeps bringing Johnny Thunder up. Salt in the wound!
  2. Techno Robin Hood please.
  3. No rubber inserts on the treads is definitely a big part of that.
  4. Tower Bridge has been available for foreeeeeeever, and I'm sure many people have stocked up on them already. So I think it won't increase an insane amount, and will probably take some time.
  5. http://brickset.com/sets/tag-Bus They have had a few in sets before.
  6. My better half isn't the biggest fan of my hobby, particularly the price. But then any time she buys a tiny piece of jewelry, the tables turn and I get the advantage!
  7. I would say the sand dollar cafe. It just seems to me like it captures all of Paradisa really well. Bright, on the beach, and a little bit of everything. Now, I can't decide between these two Lone Ranger sets... 79108 Stagecoach escape, and 79111 Constitution Train Chase. What's the better set?
  8. ^^ That would only be true if the competitor was a decent threat. Megablocks is definitely starting to be, so maybe the companies joining would improve it.
  9. It follows the same logic as light sabres, I think.
  10. The better the competition from other companies, the better for us!
  11. Johnny Thunders head is wrong in Oasis Ambush, but correct in Valley of the Kings. Must be another head in that bucket somewhere!
  12. Well so much for me believing Brickset listing various themes as licensed when they evidently aren't. I'm honestly still surprised Lego lets figure parts be bought individually for any themes still, when figures can play such a huge part in set desirability.
  13. That is really weird. No clue why they would cancel an order; you're a paying customer!
  14. If built, a look over is the best you can do. If in bits, good luck. I think it's just part of buying a used set from a stranger. A piece may be missing, broken, or incorrect. That's where Bricklink comes in.
  15. Galidor did have outside dealings for the (awful) TV show, but yes you are right that Bionicle came first. And it could probably be argued that Mixels is the first System theme to be licensed, with the Cartoon Network show.
  16. To be fair, Technic sets from a previous year tend to be available for much, if not all of the present year. So no reason for the designers to feel obligated to make certain sets when not needed.
  17. Galidor might take that crown, but I'm not certain.
  18. A bummer there's no helmet, but a cool fig nonetheless.
  19. The sites I listed can have sets for close to original price. But it depends if you want it new or used, and how in demand it is. Supply and demand will dictate a price once a set is discontinued.
  20. Whoa, a Nexo flute and Nexo plate!
  21. Definitely why it's my favourite set in the summer wave!
  22. I just recently bought that set, definitely my favourite plane Lego has made! But a little dated for a City set.
  23. I'm usually into Ninjago for the bad guys vehicles and bases, so this wave is getting exactly zero of my money, unless Airjitzu Temple grounds proves to be a worthy addition to the temple!
  24. I miss the old boxes so much. A such good inspiration just by looking at the back! But if what I've read is to be believed, parents complained that there were no instructions for those builds so Lego stopped doing that.
  25. Really? scale wise, these smaller wheels make a lot more sense for small cars. Definitely an improvement over a third of the wheel sticking out past the fender!
