  1. I found a couple of boxes in my hometown Walmart last night ... after spending time there last night and this morning, I noticed that the boxes had an inordinate amount of Yuppies and ZERO Elf Maidens, Retro Heroes and Highwaymen. So I am convinced there was a third box that some scalper or army builder picked through, and then consolidated all of the others into the remaining two boxes. So, I have 13 out of the 16 ... the hunt continues!
  2. I went to two Walmarts this weekend to no avail. This morning I stopped by the Walmart I pass on my way to work (NOT one of the ones I went to this weekend) and they had a box of them on the shelf ... that had been picked thoroughly clean. Arrrrgh! There was no one around in the toy section to ask if there were any more in the back, either. Curses! Will check back this afternoon on the way home.
  3. Uhhhh, why does it say I voted for the Race Car Driver?!? I voted for Goblin!
  4. It was a toss up between the Constable and the Goblin, with the Goblin edging out the Constable for the win.
  5. Ahhh, I see. I hope they do more of these sets, they look like fun!
  6. Very well done! I like this build very much!
  7. What's all the Hullabaloo? The link now says "page not found" so I didn't see anything ...
  8. Getting antsy, ready to start finding these guys in the wild.
  9. I didn't need to see any other name - saw Shakespeare and it was an instant vote. Awesome figure!!!
  10. Everyone else is going to have to "Let it Go," this round my vote definitely goes to the Ice Queen!
  11. I was waffling between the Highland Battler and Shark Suit Guy, but the Highland Battler won it in the end.
  12. I quite like the figure - it is exactly what I think of when I think of a highwayman, and if I recall, I put a Highwayman on one of my lists for Itaria's guessing game so I am quite pleased. I was fortunate to miss the whole Mr. Gold debacle, so I wasn't put off by the silhouette as much as some. I have seen other blind bag products do the same thing so I took it as Lego aping the other companies rather than try to introduce something special. At any rate, he will make a nice addition to my collection ...
  13. Battle Dwarf - love that little guy! Aztec Warrior is an amazing figure, though, so I completely understand why it has the lead.
  14. I'm pretty much on my own here, but there is just something about the Battle Dwarf that I adore. But like others have said, there are many strong contenders in this series.
  15. Must be a bunch of Confederate sympathizers voting for the hot dog vendor LOL
  16. I was at my local Lego Store tonight and asked about the new series, but the guy at the cash register didn't know much of anything. He did say that if other area stores put them out early, they might get the go ahead to do so as well, and added that Target and Walmart often get these figures out about two weeks before they ought to. But one of the Targets in my vicinity still have Series 16 out, so I don't hold out much hope that 17 will appear there any time soon.
  17. I don't agree with using Series 17 since it isn't officially out yet, and hasn't been a part of this game from the start, but I bow to the wisdom of the poll-master. But for me, honestly, it's Abe! :) Swashbuckler was definitely a very, very close second, though!
  18. I voted for Grandpa, even though I love the Surfer, Tribal Hunter and Explorer, as well. Hard selection for me this time, but I thought the Grandpa was well done, and with a new (or new to me) hair mold to boot.
  19. All the little details are indeed making this a series to remember. I am even warming up more and more to the Dance Instructor's hair, which at first I thought was a little too extreme for my tastes. Looking forward to getting these in my hands!
  20. Yeah, this one is tough - for me, it was definitely between the King and the Caveman, with the Unicorn Girl a close third, but the Caveman won out in the end! I started collecting these little guys with the Lego Movie line, and the Caveman was one of the first older minifigures that I went after when I started filling in my collection.
  21. Looks cool - definitely will pick it up since I did not pick up the B vs S set with her in it.
