  1. Many great details. Maybe each floor needs to be a brick or two higher?
  2. Really nice! I especially like the blue windows.
  3. Thanks! I've never been to New York, but I've watched quite a bit of movies and TV-series. Thank you! I need variation when I build, or I find it too tiresome. Thank you for the kind words! No, there's no interior. Two reasons really. I don't like to do interiors and some of the SNOT:ing takes up quite a lot of space (and might be very unstable).
  4. After wandering around Amsterdam-like neighborhoods for a while, I felt it was time to return to something inspired by New York. 5. I like it. Well done!
  6. Thank you for the kind words! The facade of the white one is quite unstalbe as parts of it is SNOT:ed upside down.
  7. Thank you for the kind words. I've never been to Amsterdam either, but I've seen that the canal houses is quite popular to be inspired by. Thanks! I felt that I had to have a go at building this type of houses. The canal houses are quite characteristic for Amsterdam I guess. Thank you! One of the techniques is very much "inspired" by Barrie Crossan: Brooklyn Juice Bar (A2) by Barrie Crossan, on Flickr
  8. I like this a lot! Different facades on front and back is a clever idea.
  9. As a house builder, it is almost inevitable to go for the narrow houses they have along the canals in Amsterdam. I do not know how it works in Amsterdam, but in my city some houses have become so stagnant that they have been replaced with new ones in a similar style. The two with some white in the facade are probably built later are the others. 10. Thanks! I'm glad I went for a brick built door.
  11. Good job! I like it a lot.

  14. Brixtar has been down for some time now. I see that it's more than a year since @fillishave was online here. He hasn't posted anything in the Swedish RLUG either.
  15. Top notch! I like it a lot.
  16. Vivid colours, great textures and a lot of details!
  17. Thanks! Thank you for the kind words! I'm happy you like it.

  19. Good job! A well deserved feature on TBB: https://www.brothers-brick.com/2020/11/12/a-morning-in-paris/
  20. Well done! So many great details to discover.
  21. Well done! A very nice and detailed build. I especially like the white flowers as decoration in the ceiling:
  22. Thank you for the feedback! The photographers' area and the masonry bricks is, in fact, a way to make the dark orange bricks last a bit longer. The lettering took quite some time to get right. I ordered one Fun Fair (60234) and one Outdoor Adventures (60202) to get the "best" minifigs. I know that some like to have the doors flush with the surface, but to me, it looks a bit odd without the threshold.
  23. Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
  24. Thank you!
