Having a separate subforum like GoH is the best way to go in my opinion. It should be at the same level as Watto's junkyard and episode builds as well as freebuilds would go in there (so there's activity in it all the time). A separate forum full of MOCs only, is a far better advertisement for SoNE than having freebuilds in the main SW section where they are overwhelmed by stupid chit chat of what LEGO will do for episode 8 and 9, which OOB version is better and what not. In fact I think that every forum should have a MOC section separated from other conversations like pirates have. But this is a matter for separate discussion out of SoNE ... @Jannik: I think that tags filter only works for less than one year old builds ...

Oh, what a cool contest, but why do they always appear when I have no time or this time all my bricks in a massive creation. I'll sure be entering the first category, hope to find resources for more.

I'll do it here, not to further spam the ep. VIII thread ... I guess the better way is to keep things simple rather than require some encription and extra work. Spaming someone's PM requires far less effort for one to delete it and noone can say he didn't get the message but can easily leave the conversation. Choosing the 50 active players can be easily done as it already was in a previous situation. Make it 35 and let others who wish to participate contact a moderator ... Yes I'm lazy and yes I refuse to talk tactics in public threads, but if that's OK with everyone else, it's OK with me too. I'm not saying you're not reading the feedback thread, it's just that some things with major priority (for my taste) are taking waaaay to long. Where's the problam in contacting Bonaparte to create a subforum structure for SoNE with two hidden forums? Do you want me to do it? - just so that we don't all spam his PM ... or say that the staff has come to a conclusion that this is not neccessary and also try to explain why. The return feedback is very valuable and also shows staff's activity! I really feel like a pain in the megablocks keep on bringing this up where the majority seems to be fine with it as it is, or noone just gives a megabluck. So sorry about that and I'll stop it for now untill things start moving.

I myself despise the majority of LDD builds, because that just aint LEGO. That is why LDD has it's own subforum, so those with no time / money / space ... to build with real bricks, this just isn't the hobby for you. I like to compare it with digital stamp scans collecting?! Where's the point? Anyway I do understand LDD building has it's cons as it has it's prons yet still I think real bricks building is what most of us are here for. It's not hard to buy a few little sets and try to create the best out of that. Maybe I'd bear with LDD freebuilds but definetly not for the challenges yet alone the other way around. Especially if there's some rewards involwed. Unless you digital builders are sattisfied with the .lxf file of the prize set :P

Love it! What a great idea for an interesting episode with another different mechanics. Shame it's on Tatooine, since I built there for the previous one, but I quite like the place ... Yet! I still think that the Redemption and the Avanger threads should be hidden and only accessible by their members. That would come in handy in a previous situation as well as in this splendid betting idea. It's a shame how some fun is ruined by what seems to be htree clicks work. The same goes for the separate SoNE subforum and all the staff refused to give explanations ever since I first mentioned it in the feedback thread?! Looking forward to build for this episode.

Awesome work! I never was a fan of brickbuilt figures / animals but sometimes there really is no other way of doing it. Predator although a bit too skinny is very well made and recognizable. But the real jewel of this creation is the excellent tree. Is that ball joints used to achieve the shape?

Magnificent model! So many cool details and the interior is mind blowing! I love the color scheme, the size of the vessel as well as the cool figures. And it's not in LDD :P

Ok, I'll ask for a "Holodoc special" then, but first I need a roomie. Otherwise I'll just bring the tent. That grass in front of the hotel looks cozy.

Yes, what TWP sais must be it. In front you get one such part and put it in the middle (where the axe of the tracks comes through) and at the rear, there's two such parts leaving the hole in the middle. Did the same mistake since the build is symetrical all until that part and then you cover it with plates making it look the same again. Try if you are able to turn around the front wheels, which you shouldn't be. Now repairinig that takes a lot of time, since the technic bricks are so wll connected at the bottom.

It's a bit quite lately in this ongoing war and no missions to do nor plan for. That leaves some time to rest and listen to my old Walkman 4K3. I put on some really old music to bring back some nostalgia ... and then Karin rushed into my office. She was quite surprised at what I was listening to, since I didn't have time to turn it off. So I had to explain to her why I'm still using this outdated player. MstrOfPppts: This is a Walkman 4K3 limited edition in gold color. My father gave it to me when I was very little. It was something I was very proud of and every kid around wanted one. My dad got it from an Ithorian scrapyard owner who owed him some credits. It was worth quite some credits, yet still far from what the Ithorian owed my father, but it was the only usefull thing in his scrapyard. And for me, it was priceless! MstrOfPppts: So what did you come here for? Karin: Oh yeah, it's about this rebel who wanted to sign up as a Stormstrooper back at Fondor ...
