LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion
KlodsBrik replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in LEGO Licensed
My thought´s so far on year two wave, brick wise: I have enjoyed almost every set so far in the year two release. Offcourse, some more than other. Favorites are definately Fantastic beasts, Gremlins, E.T and Harry potter. All these minifigs are awesome and makes my brain explode with ideas on how to use them in moc´s. In fact so much tha I haven´t even made one yet with them. However my favorite is the Fantastic Beast´s set for parts. This set is having so many awesome parts in it that I had to get a second one. ( prolly third and forth whenever I can afford it ). Least favorite, and definately the most dissapointing set was the Ghostbuster story pack. I knew that it had stickers. I very rarely apply stickers to my bricks. Mostly the sets look "ok" anyway, but this set looks blend bad almost awefull. Can´t justify buying it unless it´s for the gameplay ( Which offcourse most people are buying it for ) . Only great parts of it is the ecto-2 as it has a printed tile with the ghostbuster logo, and the ghostdispencer backpack that is actually quite a nice build. KlodsBrik- 527 replies

Thanks, I hope I wont dissapoint with my next installment then. Still working hard on the project. Well, having a lot of fun with it as well. Though it feels like Im progressing slower than turtles trying to climb up trees, the project will have expanded five cubes (5x34x34 stud bases) when I post the next part of it. And the Eagles will have to sit back patiencly in their respective nest´s and wait till a character will have enough gold to "mount" them ! KlodsBrik

Awesome creation. The exterior looks so authentic that it´s just mindblowing. Great use of pieces everywhere to accomplish that. This would look good in every city layout. So convincing. Seriously love this MOC of your´s ! KlodsBrik.

Had fun with the nexo powerpack and ultimate powersuit pack piece, tablescrapping some globes. Have a few more in mind but this is what I had time to do before I had to leave for the holiday party. Just wanted to say merry christmas to you all with these ornaments. NEXO Star: NEXO Ornament: A few more will follow, but then the christmas will be over. Thank´s for another great year here at Eurobrick´s. KlodsBrik.

Lego 4002016 - Limited Edition Employee Gift
KlodsBrik replied to paul_delahaye's topic in LEGO Train Tech
This set is looking gorgeous ! As long as we´re able to get the instruction´s from this set, I´ll be fine. But offcourse if an employee offered me the set as a gift i wouldn´t mind either. -
Lovely idea. I have to build this and incorporate it into my cube layout project somehow. You have inspired me to try out a lot of idea´s on how to brick build track crossings.

Some of the sets has arrived at shops in Denmark. Sorry about the picture quality. I only had my crappy phone at hand.

Thanks both. Must admit that it´s a looong time since I played both Diablo and World of Warcraft. So I just builded it as I recalled it. Every year when it´s getting closer to christmas I remember the good old days when I had time ( and enjoyed ) playing computer games. Something cosy about Diablo and WOW around that time of the year. Thats why this entry had to be part of my cube layout project. It's actually two bubbles showing how much life and mana ones character have left. Here it's full Getting close to having finished next installment, which will have something to do with skinning turtles and entering caves, to meet up with dwarves and enjoying a warm beer in their cold yet comfy enviroment. Oh and flying on eagles offcourse !

Wow ... Nice looking dragon. Great piece usage. I find dragons hard to build. You nailed it indeed !
-
That's a nice looking beholder. You have to make a bigger layout to make it haunt some explorers in a dungeon please !

I went back and bought 3.2 kilos of LEGO from bags they had opened and put into their window display. A back similar to the one on top was definately part of this, and from the count I've done, they are definately random and not related. Some similar bags must have been opened as well, as once again, I got a lot of random and weird pieces ( and a lot of them ) . Will add a picture at some point once I have it all sorted. However I did open the bag above, and sorted it. Will count them along with the new lot once I get bored with building. However I did take a picture.

Thank's a lot.... Im also spending lot of time thinking about how to make the Fabuland build stand out. And I think im on it. It will however not be the next few installments, but im getting there. And i personally love what it have come to look like so far. My printer got lost in the fire due to ash and smoke particles. But now I know what to do to make this build look less dull once i get a printer again. Thanks ! Finished next installment. A Diablo cube. Can be found here.

Hidden entrance or just an old collapsed mountain side ? Don't take the rockwork here to serious as the top of this cube wont be finished till the surrounding cubes are done. Still the entrance is here ! Spider Attack !! No problem for a level 5 wizard ! Dead spiders equals loot ! The treaure ain't out of reach at all ! Diablo interface: Diablo cube - First installment: Again - The top of this cube still needs a lot of work. Will be done when I have the surrounding cubes at hand at somewhat fitted to this one. Now, I actually thought that this would have been the next finished installment of my Cube Layout Project: However, once I started to build the Diablo interface, I could'nt stop. I Really wanted to have the Diablo interface as my first installment for the Diablo, world of Warcraft and Baldurs gate installment's I have planned for this project. I also needed to know how many studs high it had to be, in order to fit the surrounding cubes with the track layout in order to make it all fit. Now, I dont even know what will be the next installment. My Cube layout project consist of cubes 34x34 studs. This in order to be able to put a baseplate on top and still have an one plate edge, in order to be economical with my bricks. Also it makes it quite easy to adjust hight of every cube as i move along with the project. Now a bit of what I have planned for, to have fun here, and getting back into building again. Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( Can be found here ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( this one ) World of warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( Can be found here ) World of warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. ( Planning ) Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Who know's what's next ? ! Hope you like it. KlodsBrik

Thank's for the reply. This does make a lot of sense. I bought it from a shop that works to help Indian kids in need. They had quite a lot of other bags. Those were however numbered and were from random sets. I asked the woman how they got it and if they were to get more, after she told me everything they had in the shop were donations from people, ( as I first suspected it was a donation from LEGO ). However she told me if wasn't, and that they weren't to get any more LEGO from this person. So the original origin of this bag is still unknown, but they had had a few similar bags with the same content that had been sold she told me. The only other bag I got in the lot that wasnt numbered was this one ( well three of this one ), however it has the usual choking warning printed on it over and over again: Thank's for the reply once again. Glad to have become wiser as to why it was packed with this weird combination of bricks. KlodsBrik

Thank's both. I have Dimensions in my mind, but havent yet got an idea of a brilliant way to represent it. Then again, the layout is for now planned to be 7x6 cubes, so I still have a lot to build other themes on as I move along. More to come quite soonish. ;)

I know there is a topic about "where does this piece belong / come from". I just couldn't find it. Moderators feel free to move this to that topic if nessecary. :) ( EDIT: OOOps. And then I just found it on the first page. Sorry. Please move it mods. ) ... :( I found this bag at a shop today. Bought it for what is approximately 10$ which was a bargain. The thing is, does anyone know where it belongs to, or is it just a random collection of bricks. It has some werid combination of bricks in it, yet lovely bricks. The bag have no printing on it at all. It weighs 532grams. One side of the bag. Other side of the bag: It holds some 20-30 of those weird brown/tan/red arches. Some 20-30 of those tan wall pieces. At least 30 round cornered tan plates. Some 10-15 2x6 orange car front pieces ( Have no clue as what to call them ? ) An insane amount of orange cheese slopes. 20-30 inverted 1x3 yellow slopes. 4 black round wall pieces. 1 big red piece that I also have no clue as what to call. I really dont feel like opening it till I know the story behind it. I hope someone can help me out. Thank's in advance. KlodsBrik
