  1. Thanks blackbird ,what ur opinion on this set in general?
  2. It's really going to be a strange year for technic ,Lego usually make construction / cranes / actual model that works like real life but now were looking at a jeep and helicopter for a change,I'm not sure this is a good thing for sales if u ask me,for me a flagship is a big model with lots of gears and moving parts like arms, outriggers, cranes, pneumatics and so on, For me the last 3 flagships were great sets 8258,8043 and 8110, but this year were not getting any exciting models, this crawler has a lot to live up to I think to be anything like our last few flagships. I'm just not convinced that this will be a good year for technic and as for the helicopter it's not everyone liking and not at all exciting unless we can actually really fly it ha ha
  3. Or maybe they don't want us to see the functions
  4. Iv just noticed that both pneumatic cylinders are joined in this set but I'm just wondering why Lego did not connect up the tubes on the cylinders for dropping the arm,I know the wait of the arm is enough to drop it but it just looks not at all realistic with just the nipples there with no pipes on them, can these pipes be added easily? I'm getting this set new for Xmas so I'm looking forward to the build and I hope it's good,is this really a great set? Regards David.
  5. I wonder when will we get better pics :)
  6. U do know this is the flagship so ur way off with ur 1000 parts ha ha
  7. I wonder what size would this model be compared too? Also I wonder how many pieces it will have,I'd say maybe 1500-1800 :)
  8. First of all the helicopter has power functions just look at the "battery's not included" it kind of gives it away ha ha Second of all this is quiet possible it is a servo motor as the remote seems to be modded for steering for self centre etc ! I'd say an L motor is in between an m and xL motor.
  9. Very nice mod well done indeed :)
  10. Are we not starting a official 2h2012 tread so people can put there finds or new info on these sets?? This rock crawler looks to me to have a few surprises up its sleeve! Iv a feeling we might see a new motor, has anyone an idea what size wheels or tires were talking about here? I really was hoping for a rerelease of the power puller tires:( these look much smaller to me! So I take it we get no pneumatic s this year?
  11. Is the jeep not the crawler/flagship? Did we not have confirmation earlier in the year for the rock crawler set number which is the jeep in that video!
  12. Rock crawler looks very dissapointing for a flagship and seems to have small enough wheels too,I taught we might see power puller wheels back :( 2h 2012 is not looking as good as the last 2-3 years, also pneumatics for next year is not looking good ether :(
  13. I'm only after seeing this now,can we not start a proper 2h tread. Also has anyone a link to the pictures?
  14. This wouldn't bother me too much,I have an iPad 2 so even downloading b models instructions off Lego is great and u still just turn the pages but digital :)
  15. Is that a joke,I don't think it possible build it in that time lol, took me 8 hours and enjoyed it :)
  16. Well sorted so any new set u buy is Deffinatly ok,that set is old news now lol
  17. Ha, I just love yellow,I also like that orange one, what set is it from?
  18. Power puller one is my favourite. Not got it yet tho.
  19. Anyone seen any good or new attachments lately I taught we would have seen more :)
  20. Has anyone tryed rear outriggers using pneumatics yet?
  21. Unwont regret it,great set :) how much is ur 8439 costing u misb?
  22. I wonder what's the chances of getting a set with pneumatics in 2012?
