Black Wheels For 8110
davidmull replied to WD Pro's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Black wheels look way better on the mog,as luder said brick link is ur best bet,I think mine cost €10 delivered. -
This should be an interesting topic and we don't get to many apart from the usual mocs and so on. I had to talk about my most challenging and most saticfying set iv ever built! Well here goes its the 8455 backhoe (misb)and I'm at it the last 2 days on and off and all I can say is it's been an amazing build and my most favourite to date!iv only come back to building technic in the last year and iv bought a lot of sets since including ,8110/8043/8264/8258 but what I have noticed about these sets is the instructions are quiet easy but this 8455 backhoe was a real challenge and the most saticfying build iv done yet and most sore fingers too :) it really is a great set. So what's ur best set/build to date?

Cheap Lego in The Netherlands
davidmull replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Seems very cheap but shipping might be expensive,is there an English version of that site? -
Iv recently bought a misb 8455 backhoe, this is a new set with all sealed bags,I'm in the process of building the model and iv noticed a few pneumatic differences. First is 5 out of 7 pneumatic switches seem looser (easy to move) and the other 2 feel nice and tight like my 8110, do these switches vary like this in smoothness or is it the fact that these havnt been used in 7-8 years? Personelly I prefer the tighter type as its easier controll small movements! Secondly the pneumatic cylinders slightly vary in smoothness too but 1 out of the 10 is strange as when u pull it out fully by hand it travells back in a little on its own, like there's a slight blockage. Is this a common thing with misb pneumatic sets or is this a normal case with even newer sets,it's not bothering me it's more I'm interested to know! Bare in mind this set is brand new all sealed and box is 100% like new. By the way this is the best build experience iv had in years and way more complicated than newer sets I love it already :)dare I say I might put this set as my number 1 set along with my 8868 .

Hi ted iv often taught about mindstorm too,is it hard to get started or do basic stuff like the robot in the picture above as I'm not very good on computers but I can do what I need to do :) is mindstorm gone off the shelves as I don't see any major toy stores stocking it? Also how my minstorm robots/sets are they? -
