  1. Looks good has anyone tryed it yet? Yes they work perfect and I'm using them, gives u a better lock without over doing it!
  2. A tractor could not be compared to the mog! I like ur idea but it's very bulky, also it doesn't extend much and this is why we need longer cylinders.
  3. Just bought and built the new quad and it's pretty cool :)
  4. Anyone build that clam bucket for me yet :)
  5. U don't hear many on about 8448 so maybe it's just not as great as 8466 which is very popular ;) now anyone else want to run down 8466 I'll get my big wheels out at u :) Although I think most or 99% love 8466 :)
  6. I just think people that say there rubbish are just talking rubbish :) them tire rule end of!!
  7. I bought my 8466 with a few small parts missing ,basically just the 2 side things steps with the silver on them.the set was mint and only cost me €50 so was happy out,I had planned on buying the tires new but were costing me €100 for the 4 :( I really just wanted the tires but I rebuilt the set and it really is nice and I love the gearbox it's very real like! It's like new now and I replaced also any worn parts and all uni joints too. Also I have driven my 8110 with the 8466 tires with no problems!!! Is the gearbox on 8880 the same as 8466?
  8. Just finished building 8466 and it is a really cool model, would be nice to be able to motorise it :)
  9. Ok I look forward to seeing ur progress :) I really would like the see better picture of that crane above tho,it really interests me!
  10. U are joking rite? 8466 is a great buy purely for the huge tires, they're just huge and the biggest tires ever made and very expensive now to buy,ur the only person I heard of giving out about the wheels being to heavy, The answer to this dragged out question is simple, buy 8466 and then 8110 end off!
  11. It looks more complicated , I'd like to see that extending function is no one else interested in this? So who's going to attempt that clam bucket attachment? :)
  12. This method works great! Have u built it properly?
  13. Guys what is the easiest way to put of photos and please don't say flicker or some other host site,is there an easier way of putting them up?
  14. Great pics,I'm really interested in the crane with the 4 pneumatic cylinders!i wonder how it works or does it also extend? Could anyone reverse engineer that clam bucked on that 3rd mog as I'm not yet very good at this! Please thank u :)
  15. Buy 8466 I got it a few weeks ago too and the wheels are huge.
  16. Has anyone made a bucket grab for the unimog crane as in using 2 buckets(clam)?
  17. In all fairness this is Lego panels were talking and Lego done a great job copying the original design!its very close to the real thing, some on here altered the cab and made it worse I think.
  18. I bought a misb 8421 and it's 100 times better than 8053!
  19. I don't find it leggy or sloppy, it's also integrated very well into the cab it almost looks factory :) I know lots using it too! Maybe u built it sloppy!
  20. Very nice pics thanks, that's a proper Lego shop,I still don't know why we don't have an official Lego shop in Ireland and lego is so popular here too!
  21. The tanks are in the proper place as most trucks have them there! I'm like u I don't do much mocs except I did do a few changes to the unimog,I think with this log loader I'll make the crane pneumatic.
  22. Can u not just use this steering system like lots of us used and works well! Go to post #169 on this tread :)
