Blakbird have u any pics of the crawler with power puller wheels on? Also did u drive it with those wheels or does it loose a lot of power?

We all do appreciate what u have done and thank u for all the info,yes we get a bit too impatient but were all just excited every year about the flagship set. I'm a collector so waiting for new parts or motor speeds do not interest me and this topic is about the crawler after all not the parts. I just like to know some of the main features of any new model, there's lots of info since yesterday thanks too u but not one person commented on the main or only feature of this model and that's HOW IT DRIVEs as a crawler! Thanks again stevee for all ur info tho so far :)

This is turning into an other parts tread, who cares how fast the motor goes, all we want in model info and I'm still eager to see how capable this is at climbing obstacle s :)

Maybe it would but it would add more weight, lithiums work great I use them in 8043 and there's a big difference.

I think lithium batteries will be great in this for excellent power all the time and also there very light. Iv a new set of AA s waiting :)

They have the set the last 2-3 days and still nothing :( 1am is only early :) Maybe tomorrow might bring better things :)

I don't have 8297 ,are the tires bigger than what's on the rear of 8455/8069 ? Iv power pullers to try :) too big maybe but will look cool :)

Why do we need a train remote.? If Lego intended that remote would they have not supplied it?

I bought a mint 8466 of a friend a few months ago for €50, had only 5 small parts missing which cost 6 euro to replace. I really only bought it for the wheels. Glad I did now as I can try the wheels on 9398 when it comes out.

Yes but is there not members on here that normally get it before everyone else from Lego ? I wonder will this set be able for power puller wheels or would they take too much from the power?

Hello everyone havnt been on in a while or even built in a while, was even considering selling my collection but I'd probably regret that,is there any release date for the crawler yet? Did some people not have the unimog this time last year?
