@Stewen To fake the Sian, the artist would have had to design: the Sian wheel rim, of which we've only seen one angle of so far. This means they would have had to design an entire 3D model based off one promo shot a brand new curved wheel arch piece a brand new helicopter blade piece that we knew was coming in the tiltrotor anyway a brand new tapered curved panel that we also knew was coming in the tiltrotor THE WHOLE CAR This all would have to happen in the time between the wheel and the leaked photo. Like the moon landing, the effort alone required to actually fake something like this means that it's 100% real. Yeah mate, all the new adult-focused sets are now 18+, and come in minimalist box-art design. The UCS A-Wing, the new haunted house, the Star Wars helmets. 18+ is Lego's new marketing strategy.

Unexplored markets

I doubt you know how to read the market and balance the economics of a new theme better than the directors at TLC. It's never black and white. Thankfully it's a simple enough model that can just be pieced together from the video.- 32 replies

Technic 2020 Set Discussion
Bartybum replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
What... my brain can't even comprehend this logic. Do you not even realise the INSANE amount of effort required just to fake something like this? How do you reconcile the fact that: all the Lego connections there are legal, clearly indicating that someone had to have designed this in the first place, and the fact that new parts can be designed (just look at the 42107 Ducati, that thing has heaps of new moulds)? Like come on dude -

42110 - Land Rover Defender

The set's drivetrain has a lot of backlash because of all the U-joints and long axles. Build jb70's version: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-31299/jb70/42110-pimp-up-my-land-rover/#comments -
42110 - Land Rover Defender

The saggy part is actually there for a reason - Grohl wanted to match the slightly negative angle of attack seen in the real car.
