  1. To whoever disagreed with my guess that the hovercraft uses 2001 Kopaka's shields in black, git gud I was right
  2. Agreed, this would've been an opportunity to introduce a medium length thin pneumatic cylinder
  3. Called it, it's just normal MLAs. I'm really happy to see the old tank treads return, I might buy this one.
  4. Jesus I know right lmao. It's such a lazy thing to do. Also, they should've put another layer of beams at the bottom of the set. It sits far too high above the ground compared to the real thing
  5. Shame, description sounds like no gearbox Would it not be possible for them to put in a 4-speed sequential?
  6. Defender wheels! Also oh my god so many stickers lmao. I’m definitely getting this one probably not gonna get this one as nice as it looks though, since there's no gearbox
  7. Yeah it’s regular blue. Don’t worry, I was wondering if it was some weird new slightly pale blue
  8. Maybe it can be coded, but it should be default
  9. This is one of the key reasons I think C+ should have steering trim buttons
  10. Holy mother of cables, that backhoe is mad. I'd be keen to see a video of the build in action
  11. Is the structure designed in a way that you can take the bodywork off to get a look at the chassis underneath?
  12. I used to have that preference, but I really think you should look towards learning to use CAD software and FDM 3D printing, especially when both TLC and BrickLink charge so much for certain pieces (Bricklink is okay, but Australian sellers are a special breed of scalping filth for specialised pieces like the orange 35188 wave selectors or the Lambo Sian wheels). I design and 3D print my own Ultimate Technic rims because I don't want to have to spend insane amounts of money for just a wheel. I also saved about $5 by printing my own wave selector (the quality is exactly the same as injection moulding from a functional POV), and all I had to do was export the model from LDraw. Nah nah, NEVER buy from Shapeways. Shapeways uses SLS printing, which is good for cosmetics but absolutely terrible for strength. It's a completely stupid service, and you'd be FAR better off trying to obtain a 3D .stl file instead of having to pay through your anus for something you can snap by just looking at it wrong.
  13. Honestly, I think it might be a new strategy by TLG to stay ahead of bootleggers by always having them needing to make new moulds in an attempt to bleed them for resources.
  14. Looks cool, although I think you should try to reduce the length of the hood to make the proportions a bit more truck-like. Alternatively, you could go full hatchback mode, extend the roof a few studs back and give it a whale tail spoiler like on an RS Cosworth.
  15. There’s a few brands that are completely fine. I won’t say them here (but I’m not opposed to messaging people)
  16. You gotta remember though, we’re talking about a new set here. There’s a lot of hype unraveling that’s been built up over the past couple months and we wanna dissect everything we can about them. It’s not that we’re not interested, it’s that we’re distracted.
  17. I would like teal as well, but if the Sian's development video is anything to go by, a bit of time passes before the colour is actually decided upon. The Sian was built in several colours before they chose lime. I also don't really know what hypercars would go well in teal :S
  18. Anyone else's eyes mildly bleeding at the colour scheme?
  19. Had no idea Eurofighters were prop powered!
  20. relax my dude, it's not worth losing your mind over a $10 set
  21. I think the teal looks much better to be honest.
  22. That's a fair point, completely agree
  23. The only way I think this set could be cooler would be if the landing gear could fold backwards for flight.
