  1. Whoa! Didn't know that! Totally gonna throw one of the several caps I plan on owning onto my Yularen minifig. What is this, one of the Rumors and Discussion threads? Besides, the conversation never got off-topic in the first place.
  2. How did I miss this the first time around?!? Awesome use of the Crystal Skull temple base.... your MOC brings back a lot of memories. Nice integration of play features, it looks like an official TLG set, but upgraded. Terrific!
  3. Incredible! One of the better entries to this contest that I have seen. One gripe: since it's in a mall, it would have been awesome if you had included one of those Santa huts/ get-your-picture-taken-with-Santa areas that are in every mall this time of year. Awesome excuse to include some of Santa's elves as well. But that's just a suggestion. Otherwise, it's flawless!
  4. Poe's X-Wing polybag spotted in wild: Colorado Springs North Target. I bought several. Edit: and looks like I'm the first person to input my ownership into Brickset! Now where's my medal?!?
  5. Oh, you're such a tease posting these little bits of the story! The first and third shots are particularly impressive, they're almost cinematic in the way they present the story.
  6. Aww yeah! Juno Eclipse! One of the coolest Star Wars names ever? Probably. Her torso is probably my favorite Imperial torso besides Admiral Yularen. They are just so unique and awesome. I'm all for Imperials of both sexes, but it's just funny that reading EU stuff every other Imperial is a female, but none are to be seen in the OT. This problem is definitely going to be rectified by the Sequel trilogy, and hopefully Rogue One will save the OT.
  7. Fake setlist? Let me see what I can whip up for you here...
  8. Rumor has it... you don't know when to call it quits. Everyone's hip to your act, man. Making these fabricated lists less specific doesn't make us believe them any more. And what source? HothBricks?
  9. Now we're cookin'! This second version looks much better, mate!
  10. Found Stormtrooper Sergeant poly in TRU in Colorado Springs. Also found Poe's X-Wing poly in Target. I bought a couple of the FO TIE polls on Monday, then on Wednesday to find some more and only found one at the two (!) Targets I went to. What's with that?
  11. New printed tiles! Be sure to let us know how that works!
  12. Wowzers! Can't believe I missed these. The whole debacle over all the miscolored toys of this shuttle is pure hilarity. I mean, Disney thought the color of this shuttle was an important movie secret? You've come up with the ideal solution to that problem: make all three of the colors! My personal favorite is the white, cuz it hearkens back to the OT Imperial shuttle.
  13. True, I guess that is an improvement that could be made... it would be a shame to see that classic T-crotch leave, though. But looking at pics of OT stormies, I think the black T-crotch is the best way to go. There's more of the undersuit visible in the OT than there is on the new TFA ones. Is there actual solid evidence of a new Death Star? The retirement of the UCS MF didn't constitute as evidence of a new one coming. Edit: Just saw that markw shares my sentiments with regards to the crotches.
  14. What good are bandwagons if you're not going to jump on them? Everyone else is doing it, so: 2015- 75103 First Order Transporter 2014- 75051 Jedi Scout Fighter or 75030 Millennium Falcon 2013- 75003 A-Wing Starfighter 2012- 9496 Desert Skiff 2011-7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack or 7962 Anakin Skywalker & Sebulba's Podracers 2010- 8097 Slave I or 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack 2009- 7754 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser 2008- 7667 Imperial Dropship 2007- 7658 Y-Wing Fighter 2006- 6208 B-Wing Fighter (Still the best B-Wing set) 2005- (Possibly the worst year for Lego Star Wars)- 7256 Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid 2004- 4500 Rebel Snowspeeder 2003- 4483 AT-AT 2002- 7143 Jedi Starfighter 2001- 7146 TIE Fighter 2000- 7144 Slave I 1999- 7140 X-Wing Fighter Whew!
  15. What was RES-Q? And as for the ferry, what about those GIANT green plates? Totally worth it.
  16. Oh wow ... Can you say, "totally, utterly and 100% embarrassed?" I think I got caught up in their similarity to CMF plates. I'll be here, hiding with my shame.
  17. But no space MG34/42. Prepare yourselves for the inevitable thousands of MOCed heavy guner guns. +100. Why the hate on the heavy gunner? The only real drawback to the fig is the lack of his weapon. This is something I've been thinking about lately.... how can Lego top off the printing that's going on now? I mean, the original 90s Stormtrooper minifigures obviously had room for improvement, but these new 2014 ones? I don't know if I would want to see a Stormtrooper minifigurewith more printing than the latest one. And now, with the FO stormtroopers, we're in the same boat that we were in ~16 years ago. I don't know if there will be a new iteration of FO stormtrooper printing. Maybe when TLG standardizes arm and side-leg printing.
  18. Will there be a new episode of Rebels this week, or is it on hold for TFA?
  19. Just awesome! What are those yellow pieces around the base?
  20. Awwwww yeahhh!
  21. Yeah, that cap might definitely be the highlight of the set. And that's an interesting thought on mixing up the battle damage with the sand troopers.... that makes me a bit more optimistic about the stormies.
  22. Knowing TLG, they'll probably take a bit from both designs and put their own unique spin on it.
