LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank goodness. *Shudders* -
Uh-oh! There's no TIE Fighter Pilot polybag! The polybag we were discussing is a FO Special Forces TIE, which is at Target. Sorry if we gave you the wrong impression!
-
There are three minifigure polybags you have a chance of encountering at TRU: the Hulk one, the red-armed C-3PO, and the Stormtrooper Sergeant.
-
Usually the polybags with minifigures are at Toys R Us. I think... As far as other polybags go, at Target they'll either be up at the registers (by the candy), or back in the toy section at the end of an aisle (usually as far away from the Lego section as possible ).
-
Two of my local Targets are already out of those polybags, but a third is still loaded with 'em. Do I have any intention of clearing them out? Well, stranger things have happened....

Look man, if you want an "up to standards" Boba Fett minifigure, I have a couple useful links for you: This& This. If you demand high standards on your minifigures, then surely you won't mind these high prices? Economics 101. The Law of Supply and Demand. As said before, TLG is first and foremost a business. -
Dood, +100. I've already picked up 4 of those polybags. That windscreen has so many potential uses, control panel, this (fig on the right), you name it. As for my recent purchase, it was the Shadow Troopers battlepack, one of those TIE polybags, and the Gunship microfighter.

Exactly. The 'standard' is that exclusive minifigures get arm printing. Ones in everyday, $30 set have a standard of no arm printing. It's like demanding side leg printing on every minifigure. -

Hmmm.... what country shop are you on? I'm only seeing the constraction figures and the Force Awakens sets on the US one. -

Don't know if this has been posted yet (knowing me, it probably has ), but the 2016 Star Wars set listings are up on Shop @ Home. EDIT: Well, some of them -
Yeah, don't forget the absence of the Slave I, the Executor, Luke's X-Wing, R2-D2, the Millennium Falcon, Imperial officers, Willrow Hood, a Cloud Car, generic Bespin minifigures, the Cloud City dining room, torture chamber, and the Ugnaught junk room. Lighten up, people! It's just a $20-$30 set with a surprisingly outstanding minifigure lineup. Save your criticism for when Lego botches the UCS Bespin set. (Not to presuppose that they will botch it)

Video: Resistance Troop Transporter Reivew (Princess Leia)
Junior Shark replied to Zusammengebaut's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That minifigure torso with the Alliance starbird... mmmm! Also, the Resistance troopers' guns are that same gray that appeared in the First Order Transporter! This set is definitely a must-get for me!- 46 replies

Dood! I watched Empire Strikes Back last night after I posted about that folding staircase, and during the lightsaber duel, I totally had that same thought! Great minds think alike! The question remains, however, what would you connect the upturned staircase to? Is this staircase the mythical 'connection point' to another Bespin set that we have been looking for?

What standards? As far as I can tell, the standard on arm printing is that it's for minifigures in exclusive sets (Like the Slave I....). For minifigures in commonplace, $20-$30 sets (like the Carbon Freezing Chamber), it is the standard to not have arm printing. That's a bit of a logic jump... -
Pfff... trans-red is totally an Imperial windscreen color: Pic.

I'm pretty sure. How so? The quality drop in sets I can kinda see, but the BP minifigures are some of the best in forever! (In my humble opinion, of course.) -
The set glaringly lacks any sort of astromech, but the new Resistance pilot and those 1x1 round tiles in trans pink are so worth it!

Well... I guess he would look like Jango (being a clone and all), so technically we have seen Boba unmasked. Seriously! What, does Han play Tetris while waiting to be turned into a human popsicle? -
Pretty neat. That Ugnaught is top-notch! But why the folding staircase? Thanks for the review!
-
Ooh, and OT-era Coruscant moc would be dope! You could work in a Rebels police gunship, like this. I personally just want the shock troopers cuz... they look cool. What can I say, I've got a bit of an Imperial problem.

Alternatively, you could display the shuttle a la Emperor Palpatine's arrival on the second Death Star: Pic. -

Wow. A standard angry clone head? It's not like there's already an actual Boba Fett head or anything. Disappointing. -
No review of the whole set?!? Still, much appreciated!

It's not exactly an SDCC exclusive...

[Review] - 75131 Resistance Trooper Battle pack

FYI, I've been to Britain. I was just shamelessly cashing in on British stereotypes.
