  6. This. 8017 is way too huge when compared to the newest system-scale TIEs we've gotten. This. The new pieces are soooo much better than the old huge cockpit pieces. I'm all for nostalgia, but frankly, 8017 sucks compared to the new one.
  7. Flushed Away?
  8. Interesting. It certainly fits the mold of most Ideas sets, since it's a car from a movie.
  9. This is great overall, but the use of the trans pieces for the "ripple"/"tunnel" effect is really something else.
  10. That's too cool. I dig your Aliens.
  11. I personally love the SF TIE. It's probably the most accurate of the TFA sets so far (except for the underslung turret). It's got a great minifigure selection, the build is nice, the wings are very sturdy, it's quite fun to swoosh and make TIE sounds with, and there's a great parts selection if you want it for parts. I really can't praise the set enough. IMO, it's the sleeper set of the first TFA wave. My one gripe with it would be how hard it is to get the pilots into the cockpit- it's pretty cramped. But that's not that big of a deal.
  12. +1. This is build is quite striking visually.
  13. I'll feel forever stiffed two dark orange shells. Thanks for nothing, Lego!
