  1. Republic gunship
  2. Popped into Smyths in Leeds - all there except the vader transformation. Picked up the Republic fighter tank - nice ?. Thanks for the tip off!!
  3. I had high hopes for the Ren tie fighter, but am quite disappointed by the design we've seen in the leak. I have to remind myself that hot wheels versions of star wars are always crap .
  4. Absolutely! Totally love the new clone trooper ?
  5. OK cool - nice one ☺ Let's hope we see some brick built versions appear here soon!
  6. Tie looks really great!! Charging $5 for an lxf that's been put together iteratively by a few people here on EB is a bit cheeky though.
  7. Hi FTG, Looks like your instructions are no longer available. Could you let me know how I could purchase them please? Many thanks!!!
  8. Good work and good to see some Tie Striker action! Those wings look like they could be heavy. Whilst the hinge joints are strong you'll have to properly reinforce the fuselage to stop it prying itself apart . Having done some mods on mine I understand why lego really over cooked the design .
  9. Lovely job! all your microfighters are superb. will build this when lxf is up.
  10. Cool :) Nice snot, and the platforms are lush. I really need a solution like that as most of my TIE collection is in boxes right now.
  11. Totally love this moc - really nice work :) Have you made any further changes, or got any of the breakaway pics you alluded to before? Cheers ;)
  12. I can't be the only one who thinks the current AT-ST looks rubbish? The lack of consistency with the scaling (it's too big to fit well with any other system sets) and the frankly awful legs and hips, are too intrusive to ignore. Then there's the issue with the sloping sides...
  13. I really like what you've done with the wing pylons - the 1 x 3 slopes on top and underneath really give it quite an authentic look from the front/rear (especially in silhouette). How are the wings attached to the pylons - that area is the weak point? It really sucks when the wings wont stay on for a proper swoosh about. In fact, if you had any close up pics, or pics of the model part built so we can have a look "inside", then that would be cool :) Cheers
  14. Nice work. any chance of some close up pics of your tie fighter please?? thanks ?
  15. Photo please! ☺
  16. He crashed onto the surface though didn't he?
  17. According to the book, wings are up when landing and when in normal flight, particularly gaining altitude. Wings down is attack mode (they use the word "dart"). Since we only see the Tie strikers fighting in the movie, we only see them with wings down.
  18. Yeah they're blaming it entirely on the weak pound caused by brexit.
  19. Awesome, thank you! Must get me a copy of that book.
  20. It's all due to Brexit apparently http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/lego-raise-prices-post-brexit-pound-value-drop-toy-company-danish-a7473686.html. The reasons for buying anything direct from LEGO get fewer every year, especially with the massive discounts we've been getting elsewhere.
  21. Do you mean the lego version specifically? Great review by the way - nice to get the extra info regarding the ship in universe.
  22. Do we know where the bombardier is supposed to sit - immediately behind the pilot, or in the rear? If they sit in the back, where are the engines located?
  23. Great work bud. I'm gonna have a play around with your ideas over Christmas to see how well it works. One potential issue that's apparent is the wing/pylon connection - placing it inside the wing as per lego's recent models may sort this.
  24. Yup ?!! Cheers - great instructions btw!
  25. Cheers mate! just tried to download - said permission was required, so have sent a request. many thanks for your efforts on this one!! ?
