  1. Quality.....!! Like what you did with the 1x1 OT Snowtrooper printed tiles....;)
  2. Excellent work - I'm gonna head off and place an order with BL. I think the cockpit sides also need doing as a minimum as far as studs are concerned.
  3. Yeah - I'm a techie with one of openbet's big UK customers :)
  4. Cool. How many pieces have you got so far - couple of thousand? Also, being a tad nosey here but I spy an Openbet business card on your desk! ;)
  5. Superb!! I love the vertical aspect of the ship, it reminds me of the Necromonger ships from Chronicles of Riddick:
  6. Awesome ship mate - well done! Not only is it full of detail for AFOLs, but being able to take the roof off and access all those rooms inside means it would really appeal to the kids too. :) I reckon you could do a great version of the First Order Transporter ship using this design as a base.
  7. Here's my TIE Interceptor design, yet to be bricklinked. The cockpit canopy/hatch pieces are missing from the LDD database so they are not on this render, but you get the general idea. Thanks for looking Cheers
  8. Did you get any pics of your modded Shuttle? Defo needs doing I think, the existing Shuttle looks like Lego ran out of budget and left the model for us to finish ourselves. Cheers
  9. Really really nice work there mate - I'm gonna try build one. + one more vote over on ideas!
  10. I've got a design sitting in LDD but haven't got all the parts - I'll do it as my next MOC. I do however, have another TIE built up for escort duties with my Shuttle. Laser canon's defo need adding. Looking forward to seeing what you've done :)
  11. Photos from the back: Another front side view:
  12. The pylons attach to the wings using 16 studs each side. The wings are very steady when swooshing - they don't move or rattle about like the 9492. They don't however survive impacts that well - if you drop the Tie the wings will come off.
  13. Thanks for the comments and suggestions! I will post some more pics (including the back of the tie) after I get home today. Some of my uploads failed this morning so I just posted what I had. I can reduce the width immediately by 2 plates simply by removing the pair of 3x6 wedge plates at the end of each pylon. And yeah there's an extra 2 studs to remove from the pylons themselves without compromising the attachment or cockpit design. I must admit though, I actually made it this wide as I kinda like it - I think I've been watching too much Star Wars Rebels where the Tie proportions are shorter and wider. The Batman Tie was a bit of fun - my 5 year old is Batman mad and this seemed like a cool thing at the time. It's now converted to a First Order Standard Tie Fighter (black with light grey wings). I'm struggling with the canopy pieces though as the colours from the Tie Advanced just don't work too well against the black ship. Hopefully I'll be able to get the Special Forces Tie canopy pieces from Bricklink soon.
  14. The wings on the 9492 Tie Fighter were always excellent, but the cockpit let it down badly. The cockpit on the 75082 Tie Advanced was a big improvement, the canopy pieces were quality, but the wings sucked big time. So, I kinda combined the 2 designs and hopefully improved them by adding my own tweaks. Here you go. I willl post some images later on today (unfortunately I set my uploads off as I set off to work today and some of them failed).: All black Batman Tie Fighter! Yes you read it right
