  1. The CMF series is supposed to be a "Wizarding World" series, so Fantastic Beasts should be included.
  2. Maybe, but it relates to a conversation from the last page of this thread.
  3. That's what I thought, and why I brought it up. I wonder if it means anything at all, or just exits to look cool. Maybe it's in a book?
  4. I should clarify my earlier statement about my source and the Harry Potter wand pieces. My source actually said they didn't remember seeing any new wand pieces, not that there would not be any new wand pieces. So, there may indeed be a new wand piece. Sorry for the confusion! Also, this is supposed to be representing the "Wizarding World" rather than any particular movie or book...
  5. Anyone able to translate this dude's shirt?
  6. Yes, it was always just a stick. That's why I'm disappointed that they didn't create a new mold for it. I mean, they made a sonic screwdriver mold, it shouldn't be that hard to make a tapered stick...
  7. Agreed. Can't complain that Castle failed if you released a rather uninspired and maligned wave. Although I liked it, so what do I know? Exactly this.
  8. Not surprised, but definitely disappointed.
  9. My source said there will be no new wand mold, much to my dismay.
  10. But it is the fault of Nexo Knights. LEGO is trying something new with the Castle genre, and LEGO designers have said that they internally consider Nexo Knights to be a Castle theme (although you'd really have to stretch your imagination to see it that way). So yes, Nexo Knights is taking the slot that would ordinarily be a Castle theme.
  11. I really hope that Dr. Phosphorus will be glow in the dark, but I doubt he will be that cool. Also, the lavender pair are the Wonder Twins. And that's Black Vulcan, not Reverse Flash.
  12. Robin may be more grown, but I'm not sure he's a full-fledged knight until he has his own visor. And I'm disappointed about the trans neon orange visors again. Also, I agree that the 'magic arm' could have been portrayed better, especially in a theme so full of trans neon orange...
  13. Pyg could be done with the Pig Suit Guy's headpiece.
  14. Yes! Or even a centaur minifigure...
  15. I must not be seeing what you're seeing. But I'd love to see some Tighty Knighties minifigures.
  16. Not a bad lineup. A bit disappointed that Gleek is not included. Pretty excited about Phosphorus.
  17. That's why I think a "Legends" theme could work. You could have a Sleepy Hollow set with the Headless Horseman and Ichabod Crane. You could have a Treasure Island set, maybe the Hispaniola with the main crew members like Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver. There are other legends set around the same time frame (roughly speaking, the 1700s, but you could expand a little) that could also make for great sets. But that's just my opinion.
  18. Good call. Now that you mention it, I believe you are correct.
  19. I was just pointing Western out in that thread. I'm actually not all that interested in it, myself. I think we are all like that. I agree on both of the themes he brought up, actually. Treasure Island and Sleepy Hollow are both great ideas that could be explored. Maybe a line based on those types of stories could work.
  20. Nexo Knights continues to bring good sets and pieces for Space fans. Hard to tell, what color is the hexagonal piece attached to the eye? Is it a metallic gold? Interesting piece, too. Looks like 3 bars and 3 holes. Is that new?
  21. They don't feel enough like Blacktron. More like Blacktron 2, unfortunately. Or somewhere between the 2. They don't use white like Blacktron 2, but they use neon green instead of the yellow of Blacktron.
  22. Both of those would work very nicely. But I'm more interested in historic themes from the medieval era. I'm into knights and wizards and dragons and castles, so while I would like the themes you listed, and I would buy them, they would still be far from my favorite. I think I'm only mentioning this because of your final comment about a lack of interest in fantasy, while there are a lot of people that fantasy really does appeal to.
  23. You have a point, MAB, that anyone can do what they want with their sets. But of those listed in your post, I have the least sympathy for the investor in the case of a re-issue. That said, I'm on board with whatever anyone wants to do with their LEGO that they paid money to obtain, absolutely.
  24. It depends on the set, really. If it was a good design that people still love, and it still holds up, why change anything? There are still a lot of people out there who would buy it, so make it. With other sets, a remake or update would be fantastic. I listed the original yellow Castle set in the other thread (about which sets you would like to be re-released), but I'd honestly love to see them revisit the concept and update it to modern standards. Hell, I'd like a Creator Expert version of the set at 2+ times the size. As for Cafe Corner, it's a high demand set, so why not reissue it? Sure, there are those that would prefer a new building, but if the old one would still generate good sales, it's a no-brainer to me to just skip the development phase and re-issue a new wave of the set.
