  1. I imagined that to be the case, but is there printing on the body? Like this: I hope not.
  2. I hope that the Elephant Suit with Tutu is only a waist piece, not printed on the minifigure. I want to be able to remove the tutu and still have a good elephant costume.
  3. From what I can see in that image, it looks as if the piece comes forward a bit, making the minifigure stand more to the middle of the square footprint. It could just be the angle of the torso throwing me off. I wonder how that will actually work. Saw some new images that confirmed this is not the case. Also, it looks like this piece will appear in the Han Solo set with a character named "Moloch." Possibly also "Quay Tolsite." It's a nice looking piece.
  4. And yet they've included many flying vehicles...
  5. Story-wise, this seems pointless. Why go to the lengths to show off a power that has not been used in canon before, such a powerful force ability, when it would have been far more dramatic to have him actually die in the battle? So that he can fade out while looking at 2 suns? He could have been mortally wounded, and had Rey bring him back to Ahch-To to die if they needed that ending. It just didn't work right for me, and didn't really fit with Luke's character. And sure, it may have been a power that existed in the Expanded Universe, but I read a lot of things I didn't care for in those books. They took a lot of liberties with the force and the characters. A week would not give her all that much training, especially considering that Luke essentially refused to train her. She had 2 out of 3 lessons, and she is very powerful. She is far more powerful than Luke was at this stage of the game, and he still needed more training to get to the peak of his powers in film during Return of the Jedi. And is Darth Bane's training canon? I don't remember much of his one canon appearance in the Clone Wars television series, but I don't recall them discussing how long he trained.
  6. Yes, please!
  7. Arguably, Nexo Knights has always been more of a sci-fi theme than a Castle theme, it just happens to have cyber-swords and magic-tech to give it the veneer of Castle. (Of course I'm talking about the sets, not the show. I couldn't stand to watch more than 5 minutes of that tripe.) So I'd rather see it embrace this and go full sci-fi by giving both the Knights and the Vampires huge ships to fly around in space.
  8. I feel like the theme of failure was a bad choice. Because that choice was made, we got decisions that I strongly disagree with. We got a movie that failed to live up to it's hype and potential in the eyes of a large portion of fans. Fan service is not always a bad thing. It made The Force Awakens great. It could have helped to make The Last Jedi great as well. Instead, Rian Johnson wanted to subvert the expectations of the audience so badly that he subverted Star Wars itself. I would have much preferred he did that with his own trilogy down the road, rather than disrupting the third trilogy of the Skywalker Saga with his subversions. As it stands now, I have no interest in seeing Solo, Episode IX, or the future Johnson-led trilogy. I have no interest in purchasing tickets or hard copies of these films. And no amount of hype can change my mind, as I was more excited about The Last Jedi than any previous Star Wars film, and hoped it was going to be the best yet. Everything I saw leading up to the release indicated as much, but I was let down.
  9. Speaking of extinct animals, there are going to be some new dinosaurs released with the new Jurassic World sets this year.
  10. This could be very interesting. Also, Star Wars Solo movie sets will have a new animal called a Corellian Hound. A little too weird to act as a normal dog, but a new animal mold nonetheless.
  11. Oh dang. But they did say wings, so maybe not?
  12. Some of these are exciting. The Dragon Suit should be great, looking forward to seeing how that one turns out. Looks like I was wrong about the cactus arms. Oh well. Some of these sound a bit dumb to be honest, but that just saves me money. No need for a Race Car Suit or a wearable horse...
  13. Oh I got that, I just don't expect new arm molds. I expect them to make a cactus costume mold that includes those pieces as 1 mold. I'd prefer it, actually.
  14. I think LEGO just need to choose which themes get the mechs a little better. Space is a great theme for them.
  15. I wouldn't bet on it. My guess is that the arms will not fit into the cactus in that way.
  16. Not sure what you mean by that, this was the movie that made Maleficent and made her cool... But I guess you like that Angelina Jolie monstrosity.
  17. I love the overall build. Great job! Is there an interior?
  18. I just watched Fist Fight. That was a funny movie.
  19. The circle of trees with doors could be a decent build.
  20. Same here. Always plenty of these on the shelves in the stores that stock them, whereas that is not the case with other themes.
  21. Well many of us have been waiting since 2014 for a good Castle theme, so doomsaying Nexo Knights and speculating about 2019 is really just a continuation of that. But fair enough, it's too early to tell anything for sure. We really just have to wait and see.
