  1. Exactly the reason that these sets, released specifically to do so, are a disappointment.
  2. You could really do the same with the Elf Girl. And the Gladiator could work, but is a bit older than Medieval.
  3. The armor itself isn't bad. I prefer the classic armor that covers the entire torso, but this will still be useful. And it looks good with that face plate. It's just a matter of choosing a helmet or head piece that will fit with both items.
  4. I'm hoping they end up available through Bricks & Pieces. If not, there's always BrickLink and ebay.
  5. Like everyone else, I love the tunnel idea. It works really well, and makes a nice hideaway for the mice!
  6. True. With this yellow and the black from Nexo Knights, you could make some really cool Blacktron builds. Also, consider the The Bat-Space Shuttle coming soon with a black / trans yellow nose piece.
  7. First impression: Lame. I'll have to look at the full parts assortment before further analysis can be made.
  8. What a big, ugly box of Space parts. That's my first reaction. I do want that Jestro minifigure though.
  9. I picked up 75180 Rathtar™ Escape using points. Very cool set and minifigures.
  10. For those that have yet to see it, here is the promotional art of the Tree Suit: And there's that puma / cougar / mountain lion in the background as well.
  11. Very nice. Looking forward to getting a bunch of those!
  12. I don't think they will be. I think maybe the packaging will reference the anniversary, but beyond that there is nothing. Not taking advantage of this anniversary for releasing sets representing Classic themes like Castle, Space, and Pirates is a huge missed opportunity in my opinion.
  13. Well that's disappointing.
  14. It would be nice if the Ocean one had sea creatures, but I doubt it will.
  15. Exactly. That set was a promo, but I could see it working as an independent set, or even as part of a wave. They could take a Castle set from each price point, redesign and update them, and that could make a good wave. Although, I should say that there may be some criticism about not thinking outside the box on the set designs and just rehashing old content. Unfortunately, when LEGO thinks outside the box, they think about something other than boxes entirely and we end up with Nexo Knights.
  16. Gold visors would have been awesome, and I would have gotten multiples (I'd have bought a couple sets probably for this reason).
  17. It could absolutely, as both are short forms of James.
  18. I'd love this Diner to be the real deal. I like the design.
  19. Elves is too soft to be a good Castle theme, and Nexo Knights is too futuristic. A theme right in the middle could do OK. I think Castle 2013 had a few issues in design, but also being out there next to Tolkien themes didn't do it any favors. And I think the same is true in reverse, having a Castle theme probably hurt Tolkien sales. I'd love to see a return to Castle / Kingdoms with the same design and color aesthetics as the Tolkien themes, using new molds and build techniques introduced over the last few years since 2013 Castle and Tolkien were available.
  20. I'd say the media and design for Nexo Knights aims younger than that of Ninjago.
  21. That's an interesting analysis. I don't think it's spot on, but you're probably closer than anyone else so far.
  22. Doesn't everyone want to blow up a Death Star?
  23. Really cool. I love that you did the tapes, too. Looks awesome. Put the tapes in and hit play!
