  1. I'm sold already.
  2. I love the new autumn theme and color scheme. It looks great. I'm even more jazzed about the new Historic Themes theme. Good work!
  3. The monorail at Epcot in Florida is a big one for me. I also rode Space Mountain, and Epcot is a very futuristic place. Visiting as a kid in the 80's has impressed upon me that idea that monorails are futuristic.
  4. Ugh, I really hope those minifigures aren't going to sell for $20 - $25. This is the problem with putting highly desirable minifigures in the big sets.
  5. Wonderful designs. I love when someone changes something they don't like to make it suit their tastes better, and I love even more when the things they change are things I don't like. I absolutely agree, and these are great minifigures to accompany each dragon. Smaug and Castle dragons heads would be better than the cutesy Elves heads, but they aren't available in the same colors. I'm also not particularly into the brick-built aesthetic of Ninjago and Elves dragons, and would much prefer to see a theme that goes back to the molded builds of Castle. That said, I think the heads in this thread look much, much better than the cutesy dragon heads. I wouldn't mind the Elves dragon heads if the prints were less cutesy, as the mold is perfectly fine.
  6. For those interested, here are the swimsuits: I'm OK with Alfred, and kind of want Robin. The Joker will be nice.
  7. Chima and Nexo Knights are the "shorter term, unlicensed action/adventure lines," whereas Ninjago is the only real "larger non-licensed line" in action / adventure.
  8. It's cool. Lots of useful grey bricks for castle building, and even the green pieces could be useful in forests. I like the Disco characters. Too bad there are only 4, but at least we get those. I am looking forward to seeing mods that convert this into a normal Wayne Manor. I really hope those tracks will be available through Bricks & Pieces. They look like a lot of fun to play around with.
  9. Well yes, there is always that option.
  10. Don't forget about the official Bricks & Pieces service that LEGO provides. It can be a bit of a chore finding what you're looking for, but if you know the set number it makes it much easier.
  11. True, it's much more disappointing when they don't approve something I want than when they do approve something I don't want. Also, it's true that Ideas submissions are not selected at the expense of others. However, I do think that it is even more disappointing when they approve something I don't want at the same time as not approving something I want. While it's not being picked 'over' the one I want, I feel worse than if they had selected nothing because it means they found value in this project in which I have zero interest, but found no value in the project I loved. I'm sure there are other factors at play most of the time, like licensing deals and so forth, but it doesn't stop the feeling.
  12. Yes, each color corresponds to an element, but what are the crystals? Magic crystals that grant elemental powers?
  13. Looking forward to this bear!
  14. You're right, that might be why they haven't done a dragon in Nexo Knights, but if that's true I think it's a bogus excuse.
  15. Yes, it does look like there are collectibles. Blue, Green, Purple, and Orange gems of some sort. Most are on the animal's head, but it looks like the evil elf has captured the green one from the wolf. Interesting design, I wonder what they represent.
  16. Yeah, I think it just costs them more with shipping, and I'm not sure they can do anything with bricks that they can't verify the authenticity of, even if it is just a return order.
  17. Please, follow the format with your suggestions. A name doesn't really give much information, but a nice detailed description is great and helps you to visualize it.
  18. I'm not sure you can. I had them ship a lot of extra pieces one time (and nice pieces, too), and when I called they told me to keep them. It might be worth a call, though.
  19. I like that blue-green color from the castle set. It almost looks like the old dark turquoise.
  20. Yeah, I guess that could be him. I had taken it as one of the foot soldiers. Hard to make out any legs, though. That's a bad reason. Especially if you consider the differences between eastern and western dragons.
  21. Where are you seeing Robin? It's hard to make out any details at all, but I can see a few characters. Not sure I see Robin.
  22. I'm actually kind of unimpressed with this wave versus previous waves of Elves.
  23. I'm talking about the look of the sets, not the content of the media. But yes, of course it has a home in Action / Adventure. I was just pointing out that this wave is much more Sci-Fi than the last few. In name only, for the most part...
