  1. I wanted to start this discussion here, because it comes up often in the various yearly Rumors & Discussion threads. It's obviously a topic that many find important. I find that the quality of Star Wars minifigures is lacking when compared to other themes in regards to limb printing and dual molding. Also, they revert often from the more advanced minifigures one year to the less advanced the next. What are your opinions?
  2. Absolutely agree. Star Wars is a marquee theme, a regular big seller at the top of their product line. As such, it should be at the top of the quality standards.
  3. That would be cool. I only got one of those, but would love more! I also got a few of the Flying Mummy's wings and bird headdresses. Those are great looking parts, and that mummy is also great.
  4. Not always the case. Some people like to hold on to their information and don't always share what they know. I'm hoping that will not be the case this time.
  5. I also picked up most of the minifigures. If the sets are too expensive to pursue, I'd say at least try to get all of the minifigures you like.
  6. Does anyone know if there are similar codes for the US?
  7. The biggest difference for me is the angle of the mouth vent thing. I get what you guys are saying, you have built a collection and want them to stay the same. But I think that the best would be to get all of the figures to a high standard (which to me would be printed hips on Stormtroopers, printed arms on Boba Fett, etc.) and keep them there. I would collect OT Stormies if they were to achieve this standard. As it is now, I am rarely excited about a Star Wars minifigure because they lack details that either have appeared before and were removed (like those above), or because they haven't gotten it up to standard yet (like Han, who needs side printing and dual molding on his legs).
  8. I just don't like how it can be damaged more easily, and ages poorly. Also, it doesn't look as streamlined.
  9. Isn't it interesting how we all have different preferences?
  10. Understood, and I appreciate the reply. Also, thanks for the continued work and additional updates. I'm not sure if I am missing something, or if this is no longer an available feature with the upgrade, but I would love to see something like the "Drag to resize" option from the old reply window:
  11. And I have zero interest in Caterham or Saturn 5, but Adventure Time (license) and Yellow Submarine are right near the top of my wishlist.
  12. I think that's Winston Zeddemore, and it's a bit pricey but could be worth it just for the printed arms.
  13. That's an excellent idea, and should be posted in the Wishlists thread. I'm not too excited about the distribution of the current battle pack, it should probably skew more towards Stormtroopers rather than an even mix, but it's better then no Stormtroopers. But I'll agree that there are plenty of options for more battle packs in the future.
  14. Another issue is that the "Quote widget" can be a pain to deal with. They can't be copied or easily deleted.
  15. 7264-1 Imperial Inspection is the only set (and it contained 4), but these highly detailed minifigures are the level of quality we should expect from LEGO Star Wars. This should have become the standard Stormtrooper after its release. Or is there a better, more detailed version I'm missing?
  16. That is strange, I don't like it. I just don't like stickers much, and on a minifigure it's worse.
  17. Well then Boba Fett better come with the printed arms this time. Well at least it should keep the price of Death Troopers down. And Stormtroopers for that matter. Is it just me, or do these Stormtroopers seem to have the black hips instead of printed? If that's the case, Stormtroopers with printed hips will still be expensive and in demand. That's a real shame.
  18. I watches Three Fugitives. I wish I hadn't.
  19. Excellent point. Does anyone have any information? Rumors?
  20. Sometimes they are not related, or an issue raised in one post is solved in another, so I generally open multiple reply tabs (closing irrelevant ones as I go) and then compile everything into one window when I am done. I find this to be much more user friendly than the multiquote option, as that can often be difficult to manage. There is also no longer an option to resize the reply window, which only makes this issue more apparent.
  21. That set was always an example of what I didn't like about LEGO Castle. Too much emphasis on the goofy. So yeah, it would work for Nexo Knights.
  22. When I right click on the word Quote to open it in a new tab, it just re-opens the page. Is there no separate page for creating posts anymore?
  23. Yes, all of the villain vehicles have faces and are monsters. This is true of the lava monsters as well.
