  1. It's a nice coincidence that 8043 A and 42053 A are excavators, and 8043 B and 42053 B are loaders. So comparisons between the two B models are inevitable.
  2. That boom looks wacky! I wonder if TLG is ever gonna make a boom like that. Maybe one day TLG will make a small version of the current 11L gear rack, like a 7L one. Maybe at that time TLG will release an excavator with a rotating boom.
  3. I'm thinking about a wheeled excavator that is in the size of 42082. Does such equipment exist? What is it called? Rough terrain wheeled excavator or something?
  4. @Yevhen's request. Sorry for the delay. You may notice 42053's boom is off center. The real boom is off center, so the designer replicated that feature as well.
  5. Aint no need for small mudguards in 42093 B?
  6. Can someone check if the 42093 B can be built in dark blue?
  7. I can't take that request because I don't have a 42039, too bad. I've had many chances to acquire it but I've never been able to make myself fond of it :<
  8. This set is more like a rare part pack with a license rather than an authentic licensed set.
  9. Turns out my speculations are mostly right. There is a 2-speed concept gearbox that uses the blue 20z clutch gear, and the Corvette has the 20z gear. Too bad the gearbox is not in the Corvette like I thought. Who would have expected that a tracked log loader would have a 2-speed gearbox for a winch?!
  10. Last 2 pictures from amazon.de product page. Can't believe they put images with the confidential stamp there. I know according to the rules I'm not supposed to post pictures with confidential watermark but the high quality pictures of this set have been out for some weeks so I think it doesn't hurt anyone.
  11. My guess for 2019 2H: Any PF set will use only the L motor. M motor and the PF upgrade set have not appeared since 2018 1H. If the flagship is RC, it will be tracked, have 2 L motors, and a switch system like that in 42070. There will be 4 or 6 PF functions, 2 of which will be independent tracks. Maybe it's the modern version of 8043 or 8275. If the flagship is not RC, it will be like 42043, with 3 or 4 PF functions and some Pneumatic ones.
  12. I'm waiting to see if sb can come up with a Technic Hot Air Balloon
  13. 42082 on amazon.de for 160 EUR. I'm still wondering whether should I get a second copy for the B model. Sometimes I like it sometimes I hate it.
  14. So Milan isn't gonna help with the 1H this time?
  15. I like 42082 better than 42055. 42055 is muscular, Technic-ish, engineering-is, and it feels like it's pushing the boundaries of Technic too much. I've built it three times from scratch and have been barely able to get it to work properly without modifications. 42082 is well rounded. It's big enough, and the gearboxes and drivetrains were simple enough for all functions to work effortlessly, and it looks more polished.
  16. The steering wheel is placed vertically in neutral position.
  17. Hey guys, I found the confidential, super secret designer video for the upcoming 42088
  18. Can't you just pull the two cross block connectors at the upper end of the curved panel off?
