  1. Shell panel 3x11x2 with 10 holes in Corvette
  2. No no it's not. It's TLG's highest peak of creativity! /sarcasm The leap of imagination required to go from this to this is twice the distance between the Earth and the Sun.
  3. That cherry picker is so creative I died. WTH is TLG thinking?
  4. XL sprockets in yellow and pneumatic valves with axle hole, where does that lead you to? Remote controlled tracked backhoe! Or perhaps 8043 in steroid. I'm not fond of 8275 in steroid though, because 8275 itself is in steroid already.
  5. Indeed the wheel arch is new! Year of the wheel arches here we go. This new arch further reinforce the conclusion that TLG is pushing for more licensed, non-premium Technic supercars in annual lineups. Soon we'll have a whole line of Technic-ified Speed Champions. Doesn't sound like good news to me.
  6. For all set-specific discussions I'd like to recommend you ladies (if there is any) and gentlemen to proceed to the dedicated threads

  9. Unless TLG provides stickers with cuts in the middle
  10. R.I.P my hope for plain, unprinted white wheel arches.
  11. I still don't know if the wheel arches have one axle curvature or two axle curvature. Can someone prove the matter definitively?
  12. In case you guys don't notice, PF M motor as well as the supplementary pack 8293 has stopped appearing since 2018 1H. I think they are being phased out.
  13. 42096 Product description In terms of functions it's even worse than 42077.
  14. Yes same ones with those on 42056. It is uncertain whether they are printed or not, however. It'd be very very bad if all 4 of the arches in the set are printed.
  15. Butt seriously! Technic supercars lately look better from the rear than from the front. One structural weakness that I spotted is the way the vertical plate is attached to the 3x11 panels. It looks like the 3x11 panel has 3 half pins, and the plate is attached through the 3 holes in the back. This is a very flimsy attachment. In Sariel's words, they will snap at a sneeze.
  16. Here's a screenshot from the clip, so that people won't have to play it over and over Compared with the real thing The use of the black quadrant rack is just brilliant. I've never expected the rack to be used as something other than an XL turntable. The only gripe is the eyes (or the front lights if you want). They are too convex. And they should be in trans neon green. Or at least the inside light studs should be in trans neon green.
  17. Who needs Functionality when we have good-looking licensed models for display lol /sarcasm /butnotreallysarcasm
  18. 42096 is perhaps the first non-premium set in modern Technic that doesn't have a B model. (If you're about to cite 42023, it does have a B model, just unreleased)
  19. I can only imagine one thing that uses those massive sprockets: 8043 on steroid.
  20. I think that the small wheel arc allows TLG to add supercars as mid-scale models into the annual product lineup. That way, more licensed supercars can be introduced into Technic without being branded as premium, and also save construction machinery from appearing too often.
  21. https://www.chevrolet.com/performance/corvette-zr1-supercar Sebring Orange Tintcoat
  22. 42093 has curved 3x13 in orangrle in bonnet. The small whee arch seems to be 2x9x4. I suspect there are shorter curved panels in black for the roof.
