Bad boy ZEUX arrived yesterday. I didn't intend to compare ZEUX with RTC, but since RTC is on display on the table, I think some side-by-side shots would be interesting. More comparisons coming soon. And of course 42030 vs 42081 is a must.

I think the 42096 serves to maximize the economy of scale effect for the Porsche rims. Even the bucket of 42030 which many people think would not appear again because of limited use does appear again.

For the 41 year (not 40, it's 2018 already haha) homage, maybe you can stipulate that it uses Arocs rims and tyres. That will scale up the model and prevent reusing the chassis of the model by Lego.
