I'd say 800 pieces would go to two generic cars. The remaining 1700 pieces is enough for a truck similar to like MrTekneex MOC but with 49.53 tyres. Take the Corvette, remove all the fancy bodywork, the drive shaft, the engine, maybe the steering and HOG too, and voila, you have a 400 piece generic car. Leaving the generic car with a HOG may cause difficulty in driving in up and down the ramp. In real life when cars go up and down the ramp, they dont need steering either. The Race Kart 42048 only has 345 pieces.

If there is gonna be a RC excavator with big new sprockets and new pneumatic valved I'd say it's the 2020 flagship, not 2019, because there must be a 4000-ish piece set next year to outnumber the piece count of the 3000-ish 3rd supercar next year, and RC pneumatic gigantic Volvo excavator really suits that role.

If 42093 were branded as a generic super car I think people wouldnt dislike it that much.

I didnt expect another crane right after 42082. Since 42082 is the flagship the spider crane is likely to be the set before flagship. Car transporter sounds soooo delicious. I've always been curious how TLG creates one in Technic, as its function seems unattractive. But here it comes! I dont think the spider crane would use the large sprocket. The current large sprocket is in yellow, and new parts tend to be utilized in one color in multiple sets before new color appear. Besides, if the sprocket is yellow, the crane would be yellow, and the telescopic rack holder would have to be in yellow. It's more efficient to make a red or LBG crane. I feel like we're witnessing the golden age of Lego Technic, in which models are getting more realistic, more detailed, and more weird As TLG has gradually exhausted the conventional machinery they're venturing for more exotic beasts. I like this. I think Markus will design the spidercrane (MK V) and Milan will design the car transporter truck. They dont seem to have any creation in 2019 1H.

42070 and 42077 both have dark azure and white as main colors and red as the accent. 42039 has green and white as main colors and red as accent. Their pallets are similar, so I think a dark azure 42039 would look very pleasing -
After seeing the reviews, I think my buy list for 1H 2019 will include 1x 42092, 2x 42093, 2x 42094. Possible sets after that include 2x 42095, 1x 42096. I'm not sure about buying 42095 because I have two 42065 already, but I wanna do some comparisons between 42065 A, 42065 B, 42095 A, 42095 B, and 8043 B. The 42096 looks nice, but it's just a fancier 42077 to me.

I'll wait for your pictures then. I think a 42070, a 42077 and a 42083 would suffice. 42039 needs 8 curved panels while 42077 only has 7 in dark azure, so maybe you can leave the color incongruity in one rear wheel and hide it with perspective. -

I've just realized that 42039 is now almost completely doable in dark azure. The only missing piece is https://brickset.com/parts/design-6536. Anyhow, can anyone attempt a 42039 A in dark azure and share the result? I don't have the 42039, and plan to get one, but don't really like the green. -
I've just realized that this set is similar to 8070. Supercar for A model, Hot Rod for B model.

Uwe Wabra is a Senior Designer, so his hourly rate ain't cheap Better save the R&D cost you know. -
Those big wheels turn out to make the whole body too small compared to the wheels. I think the wheels are of the correct size. It's the wheel arches that are the problem.

Aurelien said medium azure is his favorite color from now on. Before that, he said he's the kind of designer that would want to make every single set in orange, his previous favorite one.

[REVIEW] 42094 - Tracked Loader

Probably because of economy of scale. Those pair appear in this set, the Porsche, and the boat. -

@Jim One thing I'd like you to elaborate, if you can, is how the grapple works. There's a liftarm with red bush, so it's supposed to be a lever of some sort, but how exactly do things move when you push and pull the lever? -

Impeccable! Magnifiqué! Somptueux, remarquable, de grande qualité! On another note, I think you should include the blue 20z gear in the highlight part. And another note, if we remove the winch in the back and put a PTO output, we will have a mini tracked Claas Xerion. -
And I think the curved 13 panel is worth a mention too. This is the second set after the 42056 to include that piece. Maybe 5x11 panels in orange as well.
