  1. It's Uwe's creation. The way the functions are incorporated in the main truck is amazing! HOG steering behind cabin, another HOG for cabin tilting linked with overhead deck lifting. And the B model is bloody hell gorgeous. It got me saying OMG I HAVE TO HAVE THIS upon seeing A-model functions: - Truck V6 - Truck Cabin tiliting linked with cabin overhead deck lifting to reveal V6 - Truck HOG steering behind the cabin - Truck lowering second deck - Truck elastic return-to-defaulr car locking cranks that go through rubber 2-stud liftarms on the passenger side - Truck opening doors - Trailer lowering rear ramps - Trailer lowering overhead deck - Trailer lowering front ramps so that car can drive on truck's lowered second deck. - Car HOG steering in the back - Car V8 Car doesn't have opening doors. The trailer doesn't have standing legs. Truck uses 6 Mack wheels. Trailer uses 4 wheels from 8109. Car uses 4 wheels from Corvette. UW logo on the truck's front grille. B model consists of: - 1 big truck with flatbed, using 4 Mack wheels - 1 trailer using 2 Mack wheels - 1 show car using 4 Corvette wheels. This car has a Funny Car (42050 Drag Racer) vibe. It has exposed front V6 and a supercharger on top. - 1 show truck using 4 wheels from 8109. It looks like a boxy fire truck. The rear compartment can be open upward to reveal a V8. The flatbed truck houses the show car, while the trailer houses the show truck. The colors are swapped. The show car is completely in red and uses the red small wheel arches from the truck in the A model. Meanwhile, the flatbed truck is in dark azure, LBG, and DBG, and uses all the dark azure of the sport car in the A model. B-model functions as visible: - Big Truck lowering flatbed - Big Truck HOV - Show Car V6 - Show Truck HOG - Show Truck opening rear deck (like 42070 B) - Show Truck V8 - Trailer standing legs - Trailer lowering flatbed. Parts in new color: - 5x11 tapered panel in RED - Corvette wheel arch in RED and DARK AZURE (42070 color) Rare parts: - 2x11x3 Steering Knuckle Arm (33299) in RED - 3x7 shell in RED (first appearance in 42082) - 2x5 panels in DARK AZURE (appears in 42083 and 42095) - 3x11 shell in DARK AZURE (appears in 42083 and 42077) - 5x7 panels in LBG (first and only appearance in 7160 Bionicle Drop Ship) I spot two gear racks in red holders.
  2. A-model functions: - 4 HOGs for each outward expansion of the outriggers. 2 knobs in the front, 2 knobs in the back. In other words, each outriggers swings out independently. - 4 HOGs for lowering of the outriggers through self-locking linkages. - Another 4 HOGs for each telescopic expansion of the outrigger. - HOG for turntable rotation. - HOG for boom lifting, through regular LA. - HOG for boom extension. - HOG for winch. - It appears the base of the superstructure crane has another level of elevation. B-model functions: - 2 HOGs for lowering of the outriggers through self-locking linkages. - 2 HOGs for each telescopic expansion of the outrigger. - I can't spot any knobs for outward expansion of the outrigger. But it doesn't make sense to not have them. - HOG for main tower erection, through regular LA. - 1 or 2 HOGs for main tower telescopic extension. The main tower is composed of two gear racks placed on top of each other. I spot 1 HOG for the bottom rack, but can't see any for the top rack Controlling all 4 outriggers is gonna be tedious... But the linkages are pure genius! Parts in new color: - Dog bone 3x5 in YELLOW. I spot 8 of them. 2 in the boom, 6 in the undercarriage. - Gear rack holder in YELLOW Rare parts: - 3x11 panels in YELLOW - T-liftarm 3x3 in YELLOW - Macaroni 90 degree connector in YELLOW (first appearance in 42094) - 6 holes pulley wheels in BLACK (first return in 42069) - Pin hole with pin in BLUE (first appearance in 42083) It uses the regular LA, not the XL LA in Liebherr. Sorry for this wrong info. The 2 outriggers in the B models have movement limitors. But I can't seem to spot them in the A model. I really wonder what will be used to stop the outriggers from swinging outwards too far.
  3. Anyone wants candies? Candies with confidential stamps.
  4. Santa Clause brought me summer gifts with confidential stamps. 'Nuf said.
  5. As cool as how Markus and Milan find the sets to be in the 2015 designer videos (with an indifferent expression) I think. Those words are just Marketing lingos.
  6. The Marketing Department probably runs a recognition test with different machinery phrases to see which one is recognized by the largest number of customers.
  7. I dont like the way Spider Crane becomes compact Compact Crawler Crane though. Spider Crane is the proper name. Is TLG afraid of putting off people with arachnophobia?
  8. Source: https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-technic-sommer-2019-beschreibungen/ Thanks to a friendly reminder from Jim The thing in my profile picture is a wooden moon.
  9. Even more disturbing is that Jim didnt scold him for posting link to leak (albeit old) pics
  10. In this contest we go deep space. Next time how about deep sea.
  11. Im waiting for a space excavator, space crane, or space loader.
  12. Contest idea: Build a Technic logo / crest with moving parts. Like Lamborghini crest with the bull moving its leg or head. Since we are all Technic fans, how about a contest related to Technic fans? Minimum requirement: must include rotating blades. Helicopter rotor counts.
  13. So like tower crane with 4 deployable stabilizers? This set can turn out to resemble 42042. The undercarriage is the same for both models. How is "truck with show cars" different from the A model though? A search for compact tower crane results in these The first thing that came to my mind when I read truck with show car is this.
  14. In your picture, the axle that drives the worm gear is offset 1/2 stud from the alignment of other studs (I call that the grid). So in case you need to mesh that axle with another axle that aligns with the grid, how would you do it?
  15. @Doug72 And how would you mesh a 1/2-stud-offset axle with an axle on the grid?
  16. XL LA is also present in the spider crane, which is due for release in August.
  17. This picture contains the image of the new CONTROL+ hub.
  18. Finally gave in to temptation and got myself a 42039 new sealed.
  19. Some online stores now list 42097 as Compact Crawler Crane instead of Spider Crane.
  20. 42055, because I've built it 3 times from scratch and still struggle to get it to work properly. Same with 42009.
  21. There are two mini LAs left. I think the last function can be motorized engine cover, like that in 42070 B.
